the fact that the rig rundown question is so popular actually makes sense because his bass sound is so unique and so many bass players try to recreate it.

Sometimes these interviews are all set up at the same place and same day, so they go from one to the next. Although, it could also just be their favorite outfits lol.
Chris probably don't know that that many bassists out there (even me who knows nothing about bass stuff LOL) want to know every detail of equipment he has, how to make those basslines sound amazing on their records or on their live stage, the technique he uses... like, everything. Would be nice to have an hour video of him explain everything LOL But I sense he's a humble guy who don't want to brag about his talent/skill. He even barely do interview or talk when it's three of them are present for an interview, so 😂

Not sure how many times I've watched this video. Will always comeback to get some laugh (?). Chris, once a drummer and magically became a great bassist. No wonder any bassist out there that listen to Muse records wanna know his rig rundown.
Asking, “How old are Muse?” That is a tricky question as Rocket Baby Dolls (their old name) formed in 1994 when they were around 15-16 years old. They only changed their name to Muse in 1997 when they were around 18-19 years old. Also, their first studio album, ‘Showbiz’ didn’t release until 1999! So, my point is, that question is very vague, and depends on your interpretation of the question. I think they were going by their Rocket Baby Dolls as they say, “Nearly 25 years old.” And this was in 2018, so 2018 minus 25 is 1993 although they did say “nearly 25” not 25 years old. By this point the band was 24 years old. Phew that was a lot 😅
