I enjoyed New Born, KOC, Bliss, Plug In Baby, Stockholm etc.. so when The Resistance came out I only enjoyed the louder ones, my fav being Unnatural Selection. Back then I didn't care for thr symphonies and didn't even think of them as being part of the album. I still wonder whether them writing 3extra band tracks and releasing the symphonies as it's own release would have been better but they are now part of The Resistance for me and I enjoy the album because of how obscure it is. Alt,, Electronic, symphonic rock, classical, etc. It's probably on par with BHAR.

But I'm so happy Starlight was one of the hot topics of this interview. For me, Starlight is the most beautiful track Matt has ever written.

Grew up listening to these boys in my dads car over 10 years ago. Absolutely amazing band. Can’t say I’m a fan, however I do love their older stuff more. I hope these boys can double their career length. Definitely a big name in music.

To this day The Resistance is the only Muse song I’ve heard on mainstream radio in the US and it makes me sad that not enough of their music gets out over here.
I remember hearing Uprising on the radio here in the US back in the early 2010s, but I don’t think I ever heard Resistance until I became a Muse fan in 2017.
I actually like their voices. Dom has such a pleasantly calm manner of speaking, and Chris has a bit deeper sound. And Matt just forgets that there are supposed to be spaces between the words 😆
They’ve always underestimated their American base imo. Honestly I miss the 2006-2010 setlists with new born, assassin, citizen erased etc. map is always good live. We enjoy the heavier stuff as well. Gotta trust us :) they’re still great live, but those shows are where they peaked because of the material they were playing.
