They used to have around 25-30 songs to pick from out of their live library. Every gig was a different setlist so you had no idea what to expect…….it was bliss
@@MrGeewiz1 don’t even get me started, i love bliss but when i saw them back in 2019 matt said they hadn’t played the song live in like 20 years 💀 but actually they’d been playing it live on so many tours before that! he makes me laugh
honestly what's going on. that's why he got uno and soldier's poem wrong, he's remembering when he wrote the songs not when they were released to the public. EDIT: or even the "clarinet solos" comment. in his mind he's continuously making more music and messing about with ideas. the clear demarcations of each album are for us, not for him.
There is a a reason that artists have a set list printed out in front of them at a gig. We don't remember the songs or their order but it is like riding a bike once it all gets going.
When playing shows. There's usually a _'set list'_ that is put together by the band before the show even begins. Each member will know the order of the songs but the order can often change while on stage. For instance. some bands like to talk a lot or have a little fun with their fans when on stage and that can result in songs being cut from the set or substituted for another of shorter length (if they have one) based on how much time they have left. The lead singer can always jump the order of the songs in which they listed on the set list but the band will still know to expect whatever song is on the set list to appear at that show.
I'm the only member of my "band", and... to be fair... I feel ashamed of calling my own songs by name because I feel pretentious doing it, so I go like "the one with the saxophone on it" or "the first one I did singing" or "the one about accidents" referring to the most recent one, and so.
"You wrote the bloody song!" 😆
makes sense why the setlist hardly ever changes! the man picks the ones he can remember 😭💀
Now he barely uses guitar in some songs like Uprising except the solo and Darkside

It's like your mom calling you by your siblings' names
this is like Johnny Depp not watching any of his films
The soldier's poem on absolution confusion is always my favorite
Hope you keep making Muse compilations/videos
Thanks, that's the idea!
You'd start forgetting too if you wrote 50 songs per album and only 12 made the cut.
honestly what's going on.

Matt and Dom are hilarious! 😂
Oh man, Map of your Head is such a banger.

He’s such a dork I love it
This only shows that Dominic is the biggest fan of the band. Nobody can compete with him about Muse's trivias.
How does he know what to start playing during concerts?
Routine, these are thrown at him randomly, he specifically chooses songs he finds memorable for concerts I'd imagine.
@phillipsmusic3871 It was cheeky sarcasm but yeah I'm sure they rehearse and he remembers by that.

@Rose.Of.Hizaki I said it was cheeky sarcasm 🙄
Lol i love this!!!! Thank you for this video😂😂
Matt is a genius. But even he has only so much ram for everything 😂
Bro is too genius
Ahahaha,these two are absolutely……amazing!! ❤
he was great in newcastle united
40th sub 👌👌 i love muse so much haha
also whats the interview at 1:35 ?
Muse 💯
Starlights
come on, matt!
Haha, even I got Starlight before either of them did! Bloody amateurs.. :D
My dumbass thought they were playing Showbiz (the song) after hearing the first couple seconds. 💀
Смешно 🤭
For everyone wondering, he has short-term memory. Half the time they forgot they wrote Showbiz.
Everyone has short-term memory. That term doesn't make sense here lol
😏
Not that uncommon in my experience. Im the only one in my band who knows half the titles to our songs.

Sure, it's just a meme that the Muse fanbase has had for a long time because Matt's memory is very bad in general.
No one els knows the titles of your song either 😂
@@samclark6077 😂 that's cold.
I wouldn’t want to remember any of his songs if I was him either
🐕 💩
Lmao that's why they sell out Arenas . Nice bait.
