    I am not musically trained and seeing seeing how the organist runs throuh 3 seperate complex lines simultaneously seems absolutely super human.

      @Mausi X because it takes longer to master and great dedication people tend to think it is superior to what it is a contrast to "4 chord songs". But who are we to judge, right?

    Vivaldi foi tão genial que até Bach se viu na necessidade de traduzir para órgão as obras do mestre italiano

    The conclusion to that solo, my god! Such intense speed! Your presentation of the outlined chords below the score was incredibly helpful, Gerubach.

    This work, especially the last 2 minutes outlining those chord shifts and changes to make it easier for the listener to understand, is truly one of Geru's greatest achievements I think.

    This is one of my favourite violin concertos by Vivaldi!
    I've only heard one recording (the one by Il Giardino Armonico) that actually incorporated Bach's solos into their performance of this piece.

    • @jaydenfung1
      @jaydenfung1 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Bach seems to have changed the rhythm slightly, but I’m not sure why. I suspect he wanted to make it slightly easier to play-Vivaldi’s version is extremely virtuosic and has the tempo marking of “Grave recitativo”, so there’s a lot of rubato implied. I really like Enrico Onofri’s interpretation on the violin.
