Same, when she started flirting with her man that should be the first red flag and then the second should have been she started making food for him first and then you and the fact that it didn't occur to her that she got sick around the same time her roommate started cooking for her

Reminds me of my former best friend and roommate. Despite my username, I am a woman. I had been friends with this girl since kindergarten and it wasn't until we lived together during our college years that I realized how possessive and controlling she was. Once, I had my ex over when I was dating the guy. She waited til I was in the shower to go behind my back and tell the guy that I'd be bored with him within the next few weeks and I'd just leave him like I did with everyone. That wasn't my MO at all, in fact, most of my previous relationships had lasted years. Her reasoning was because she thought the guy and I were getting serious and she was afraid I'd want to move in with him. Mind you, we lived with her boyfriend. She cried when I told her that I wasn't going to follow her around and live with her and her boyfriend for the rest of our lives. Any time I mentioned wanting to move out on my own, she'd threaten suicide. That's not even the worst of it. When I brought my now husband over for the first time, she decided that while him and I watched a movie in the living room together, that she needed to sweep the floor wearing nothing but a robe. She then "accidentally" fell over the arm of the couch and into his lap, letting the robe open and just giggled as she lay naked in his lap. I shoved her to the floor, and apologized to him because he was clearly extremely uncomfortable. We hung out at his place from then on until I moved in with him. She then sent me all these long messages about how I was a horrible friend for abandoning her. Again, she lived with her boyfriend, so she wasn't even alone. I tried to be her friend again several years later, but laid out very specific boundaries she constantly tried to find loopholes for. I had to stop talking to her for good because she constantly threatened suicide to gain control over me. She literally got mad at me for not letting her plan my entire wedding. She acted like I was getting married to her. Super weird, I'm so glad I've moved on from this toxic friendship.
My cousin used to sleepwalk when we were kids (maybe she still does, idk, we haven’t been in contact in years) and once she actually walked out of the house and down the street to a gas station. It’s scary to think what could have happened to her, a little girl alone and vulnerable at night like that.
Story 6 about the dogs was truly horrifying. I personally don’t believe that putting the dogs down was enough, and this is coming from someone who LOVES dogs. There is no valid reason why the roommate should’ve left the vicious dogs without taking precautions. The roommate knew the dogs were dangerous. The writer could’ve easily been dead at that point. The writer has to deal with trauma from the lasting effects of the actions. The writer should’ve sued.
My college roommate took pictures of me sleeping. She said she liked pictures of people sleeping. Her computer screensaver was a bunch of sleeping people, including me, which was my first hint that she took pictures of me.
Sleepwalking guy has something different going on. He probably found a doctor to treat him or sadly offed himself. That's a terrible thing to realize you do in your sleep.
Man dude I use a Chromebook at school and I listen to your TH-cam because the Spotify don't work but ur content is just so good I can listen to the same stories. Keep up the great content Joel
I'm a mild-mannered, non-violent person, but Story 2 makes me feel that some people deserve to be jumped. I'd have beaten the breaks off of Dove or whatever her name is. Those chicks were weak because a dr,uggie always comes back and/or sets you up so her friends to rob you or worse. That's why I believe that you don't play with addicts -- you just get away, immediately!
That first one... I used to suffer from night terrors, and used to sleep walk. And according to my family, when I was young, it was... Bad. If I wasn't screaming my head off like I was being murdered, it was possible for me to leave the house and walk out into the street. My grandmother used to put chairs in front of the door when I stayed at her place, but I would just move them. So then came the bells. Like above a convenience store. My family put bells above doors before my parents got an alarm system that would go off when I left. My father would have to chase child-me down the street. I never was allowed to have sleepovers, or go to someone's place for sleepovers. I thought for sure as I got older, I didn't get terrors or sleepwalk anymore (I'd been living on my own since sixteen--long story, not worth getting into), and I had a friend stay over when I was nineteen. I didn't warn my friend, because I thought I was good now. But I had a night terror, and was screaming blood murder. My friend booked it down the hall as he was sleeping on my couch. He shook me until I woke up. I was like, "WHAT!? WHAT?!" And he had to tell me everything. I'm now married, and still have the occasional night terror, or sleep-walking episode. My husband gets up and checks on me after a minute if I wander off. He's a light-sleeper, so he notices pretty quickly when I'm not back in bed and will come and check on me, even if I'm just going to the kitchen for a glass of water. I've heard some pretty scary stories about sleep walkers.
Story 6: Dogs don't act like that unless they have been seriously abused by either their current or former owners. Story 7: OP's mother was a real peice of work for not believing what her daughter was telling her. The mother should have been willing to share *HER OWN* room with the crazy woman, instead!
Not true about dogs. Just like humans dogs can have psychological issues with no cause by environment. When I was younger my family got a dog. An Australian shepherd. We got her as a puppy not that old but not baby. I cared for her, fed her, played with her. I never hit kicked or did anything of the sort and neither did my family. One day it was like a switch flipped and she became incredibly aggressive to me. Everyday her hatred for me kept growing. It got to the point where my family had to put a muzzle on her and hold her so I could walk out the door to go to school. Then one day while I was at school she was getting aggressive so my mom had to put the muzzle on her. Somehow she smashed the muzzle and tried to kill my mom. A bit before and during this we were having a professional dog trainer work with her. She stayed with him twice the latter was a little before she attacked my mom. After the second time the trainer told us there was nothing he could do. Apparently it's common in that breed and others but sometimes they just have major temperament issues. She was just a born psycho. (This got way too long but i havent got to vent this trauma for years). We found out later her mom has several of the same issues as well but not to the level this dog had.
Surely not as bad as the girl from Craigslist... I would've have recorded her "activities", change the locks and not let the methhead in anymore - after all, did the op sign any legal papers? If yes, move out for the duration it takes time to evict that beach. The op was a man I believe, few punches to the face should calm her down.
Yeah well unfortunately if you don't have a lot of money or any place to go at the moment, it's the only option other than being homeless, not like it's someone's CHOICE to live with strangers. Enjoy your perfect life.
@@belladonnahigh9206 I would have slept in my car if I had to, rather than sleep in the same house with the psycho!! No, my family member wasn't as bad, but she was scary. She was an alcoholic and abused pills. I became afraid of her. I haven't seen her in about 15 years.
I'm surprised the last person didn't go ham on messing with the roommate back. Like dumping all her liquid items/food. I guess it could have just made everything worse, though I'm not sure how much worse it could have gotten tbh.
Well, roomates are almost always a bad idea, and if not, a person in your flat or house will still bother you with this or that, its just not worth it, all the stress. Remember, you came alone in to this world, equally, you will leave this world on your own, alone ...
My mom told me I used to sleep walk as a little kid but honestly I don't remember anything at all but I find sleepwalking absolutely bonkers in all honesty
When it comes to the last story, I wonder if the Author took photos of all that mess to show to a person checking, if as they said, there was 1 day notice. Years ago I read similar story where I think 2 people lived with one girl who refused to to her part in cleaning scheldue or something. Soon that arrangement made their place unhabitable and the guys had enough. They called the girl's parents then deep cleaned the apartment. When the parents arrived, they were confused what the big deal was if the place was clean. Then they saw the before photos of all the mess. When the girl arrived she broke down and was taken away by her parents. Apparently, if I remember correctly, someone in the comment suggested that girl had something of a mental breakdown, because it all supposedly started after dropping out of school (or something related).
To the guy who got attacked by dogs, you did the right thing and I am sorry you no longer like dogs. If you ever want to try again with dogs get a small dog like maybe a Bassett Hound or smaller. Also, I think your buddy trained those dogs to be aggressive, most German Shepherds are friendly. He is lucky that it was you that got bit because if those dogs got loose and they attacked and killed a person or another pet he would have been sued or served jail time. Like you said the dogs are not at fault, I blame the owners for how they were trained/raised. Hope they're never allowed any animals again.
When somebody's lived with you for a day or two you can kick them out with evicting them they do not have residency until they have lived with you for more than 30 days I've been through this so many times
Bringing pictures to show you her room isn't a weird thing lots of people bring them as a reference to see this is what my room look at various times at home and you can tell when the days have changed by different things in different places and so forth

Thanks for the vid Lets Read!. In my opinion stories 3, 4, and 7 would be right at home if they were re-enacted on the ID show Deadly Women.
My cousin used to sleepwalk when we were kids (maybe she still does, idk, we haven’t been in contact in years) and once she actually walked out of the house and down the street to a gas station. It’s scary to think what could have happened to her, a little girl alone and vulnerable at night like that.
That dog story just wooww! You're truly lucky asf to survive...4 aggressive dogs looking for u.. my God..
That guy in story 6 should never own any kind of animal again.
The roommate ones are my fave 🖤 aside from paranormal and detective stories
Story 6 about the dogs was truly horrifying. I personally don’t believe that putting the dogs down was enough, and this is coming from someone who LOVES dogs. There is no valid reason why the roommate should’ve left the vicious dogs without taking precautions. The roommate knew the dogs were dangerous. The writer could’ve easily been dead at that point. The writer has to deal with trauma from the lasting effects of the actions. The writer should’ve sued.
they also should have been arrested for being an irresponsible dog owner.
I don´t belive the Story. At All.
Nice work Joel. Keep it up! 💗
Yay! I wasn't sure if you were going to post tonight
One time I woke up and had to go to work. Now that's the real horror
Thanks for the great videos as usual!!! Appreciate it
My college roommate took pictures of me sleeping. She said she liked pictures of people sleeping. Her computer screensaver was a bunch of sleeping people, including me, which was my first hint that she took pictures of me.
The lady in that last story needs sweet sweet revenge.
Well she got arrested, (even if it wasn't for what she did to OP's old apartment), so that's a start.
I love these authenticity at its rawest
Sleepwalking guy has something different going on. He probably found a doctor to treat him or sadly offed himself. That's a terrible thing to realize you do in your sleep.
Man dude I use a Chromebook at school and I listen to your TH-cam because the Spotify don't work but ur content is just so good I can listen to the same stories. Keep up the great content Joel
@massagemeontgramletsread0250 bruh
Love your content man
I'm a mild-mannered, non-violent person, but Story 2 makes me feel that some people deserve to be jumped. I'd have beaten the breaks off of Dove or whatever her name is. Those chicks were weak because a dr,uggie always comes back and/or sets you up so her friends to rob you or worse. That's why I believe that you don't play with addicts -- you just get away, immediately!
GREAT STORIES! ❤
Woo hoo just got off work, love ya Joel!
These were amazing. I had to stop what I was doing and completely focus at some points haha. Thanks for the content 🙏
I'm so waiting for this ✌️
My favorite youtuber is back
The second story...uh kick her out after the first incident lol?
This one took the cake of crazy roommate stories
And again I'm late! But again I was still able to listen to the stories!
Perfect timing! I needed something to nap to 😂
IKR 😀
Have you spoken to a psychiatrist about these issues? There may be a medication out there that could help you!
@@voidbreather7405 I have before, but apparently it's just apart of CPTSD. Therapy will help apparently, so I've been doing DBT.
Your poor husband. Sleep deprivation is hell.
Doesn't matter why. 😒 That girl was stalked for days. Wtf. That's irrelevant to her
Thank you Joel! 💜😊
The sleep walking story was scary af
After that cannibal roommate story I got a meat related ad.
That last story was wild omg lol
Hey, man! Congrats! You're almost at 1 million subs!
HERE!
Glad I never had a roommate besides family members. But even then that can be bad sometimes!
Oh boy, do I have TWO I could tell, but one would be a mini-novel, practically....
“he’d barely be able to walk from all the screaming he’d done the night before.”
😂😂😂😂 Unfortunately not the first time I’ve heard that in my life!!!
The final line in the last story.
“Make sure they’re not secretly addicted to meth.”
Yeah ok. Thanks 👍🏽
"I hate dogs"
Cruella de vil: let me introduce myself, darling!
Rough week? Cant feel your arms and legs like me? Dont worry. 30 minutes listening in and my back doesnt feel so twisted up anymore
That first story was chilling I hope Brandon got the help he needed cause that's not normal
I’d have kicked Dove out within that week. What an awful roommate.
Right? That's what I was thinking, omg 😂
That last story with the feces all over the room, I would have pulled her by her hair, and she would have licked that room clean. I take no prisoners.
You have a great voice for this and interesting visuals. Gong to check out a few more of your vids.
Damn that last story 🤢🤢🤯🤮
I love listening to your stories and having a beverage
Well, roomates are almost always a bad idea, and if not, a person in your flat or house will still bother you with this or that, its just not worth it, all the stress. Remember, you came alone in to this world, equally, you will leave this world on your own, alone ...
My mom told me I used to sleep walk as a little kid but honestly I don't remember anything at all but I find sleepwalking absolutely bonkers in all honesty
Be there for someone going through drug addiction, like by calling a swat team down on them. Sometimes they just need to know you care.
Swatting is caring 💕🫂🔫
Love you man
So close🤣..Guess it's time to sleep
Wow, wow, wooooowzwr this content is an eye-opener
Thanks for sharing
And this right here is why I refuse to have roommates. People are CRAZY!
I haven't listened to this yet.
You know, I guess my situation could always be worse...
Running from dogs is the WRONG move. Dogs loooove the chase
Stupid owner probably trained those dogs to do that exact thing
Yes .. this is just what I want.Female psyco stories are the best.
Wait story 2 sounds like a Twitter story I saw! Like a crazy scammer boyfriend lol
