The scariest thing about my girl's new job, is that EVERYONE is nice and welcoming. She did a work trial and when she was waiting for the drug test and start date the people she had been working with all asked the supervisor if she had been hired and when would she be coming back. I mean, can you imagine a 100% non-toxic workplace? That is scary.

Weirdly enough, he also went by the name “Captain” whenever his brain was failing him and had random violent outbursts. He was a very eccentric and lonely man and he also had no family and died abruptly. The only reason I know this story ISN’T about the man I knew is because the man in the story was wealthy!

@@AshLilyNeko if you smell a burning body it doesn't smell good, it's said to taste like pork but often human flesh does not smell good when burnt in some way. It might differ from person to person or some morbid preparation or something but it doesn't smell good all the time.

With the captain story He had a episode where he thought he was back in what ever battle or war he served in. So he thought you were the enemy. People who are veterans can have those. My great uncle had some.
With the captain story it appears he had an episode that is not common but can happen to old people nearing death, the scenario where he gained strength and he had to use all of his power to get him off is common in this episode. What happens in this episode is that the old person that is near death basically gains all strength and feels normal for a few days and then just dies. Its very sad and predictable.

Sorry to say your husband and friend got scammed. Sad this company is doing this big push with big channels at Christmas in time to rope in the most buyers who don’t bother to research and realize you will have nothing more than a useless certificate (for an extra $30 of course) from a shell company in Hong Kong. I know channels need sponsors, but they need to vet them better, and the listeners/subscribers shouldn’t just take the word of one person, no matter how much you like their channel, before spending $50+ on a scam.

Also you cannot change your name on legal documents. The people who are really at fault are those like Let’s Read and other TH-cam creators for falsely advertising this and to be honest this can lead to a FTC investigation on creators and result in fines for creators like Let’s Read. The fact he hasn’t denounced this like two other major creators apologizing is concerning. In the United States you can be fined and taken to court and also SUED for false advertising for a company like this. Maybe because most Americans don’t understand become a Lord is a big deal they don’t understand why claiming you can be a lord for as low as a hundred dollars is a cause for concern. You can’t simply say I advertised this and because you are to stupid to fall for it you can’t do anything in the United States you can

Ok, what's the deal with the flimsy doors and the insanely irresponsible treatment of safety? First of all - I would never have a door that can be broken just by jostling it. You may as well hang a curtain instead of a door. Have a good sturdy metal door. The one you'd need to have a circular saw and hydraulic tools to force open. Next - If you had someone pick it open or steal your keys - have the locks changed immediately. Pay the locksmith extra if you can get them to come the same day. You only live once, don't be a moron.

I need to find out more details but here's the gist. Someone in my extended family was job hunting. She found what she thought was work from home employment. They told her they needed money for [whatever excuse it was], and to get a gift card. She was going to get it for them, and had asked her grandson to pick it up for her. Of course, he knows all about the gift card scams and looked into this new job she had. He explained it all to her and hopefully now she'll have him check on anything she tries to do online.
Mr.Alderaz aka The Captain sounds like someone who has dementia. My Papaw had it and now my Grandpa has it. Papaw turned into a sweeter old man, think Mr.Rodgers vibes, who'd tell me I reminded him of his granddaughter aka my mom. He didn't fully understand who I was, but he was delighted to share my company and insisted I have some tea/a snack because it was a hot summer day. Also wanted to tip my dad for driving him places, I think he left the money on the seat because dad kept refusing. My Grandpa however...mean and abusive. He can put on a nice enough face when he focuses on it, but when that mask slips it is ugly. Fortunately he isn't strong enough to physically hurt people anymore. Dementia is a scary thing, the thought that I may get it one day keeps me up at night.

@@AshLilyNeko I also kind of figured out because on one of let's reads pizza delivery stories the guy had to deliver this mystery meat pizza that smelt horrendous, and apparently illegal, many people in the comment section said Pangolin meat. There is so very few meat that could even fall under those descriptions and Pangolin checks out on all 3.
I wonder if Mr. Alverez (the old man with the bones and taxidermy) actually has undiagnosed Dissociative Identity Disorder. The fact that he said was sitting waiting for the young man to arrive then can't remember what happened after that and was shocked to hear about "Captain" kinda gives it away. That's very common for a DID dissociative episode, missing time.

@@raymondfeatherston8415 It’s a scam because the are promising Titles that people pay often billions in an attempt to become Nobility but fail to do so. Also you cannot change your name on legal documents. The people who are really at fault are those like Let’s Read and other TH-cam creators for falsely advertising this and to be honest this can lead to a FTC investigation on creators and result in fines for creators like Let’s Read.
The fact he hasn’t denounced this like two other major creators apologizing is concerning. In the United States you can be fined and taken to court and also SUED for false advertising for a company like this.
Maybe because most Americans don’t understand become a Lord is a big deal they don’t understand why claiming you can be a lord for as low as a hundred dollars is a cause for concern. You can’t simply say I advertised this and because you are to stupid to fall for it you can’t do anything in the United States you can

Also there's a true crime case where a man and his nephew were luring men out to his property by saying that he had a job for them working on his farm he would get them out there and start shooting at them as they ran through the woods I know there's at least one survivor and a couple victims if you type in the key words you can also look up this case

Have a good sturdy metal door. The one you'd need to have a circular saw and hydraulic tools to force open.
Next - If you had someone pick it open or steal your keys - have the locks changed immediately. Pay the locksmith extra if you can get them to come the same day.

If she lives with her parents in their house - that's up to them to buy the door. And I don't mean like the giant circular vault door. Just a normal metal door in a reinforced frame. It's not that expensive, considering it's a one time investment in your personal safety.

cause in here we just give the account number or card number and all anyone can do with that is deposit money not withdraw from the account.
I just don't understand how giving your general bank information may result in your account being emptied.

I need to find out more details but here's the gist.
Someone in my extended family was job hunting. She found what she thought was work from home employment. They told her they needed money for [whatever excuse it was], and to get a gift card. She was going to get it for them, and had asked her grandson to pick it up for her. Of course, he knows all about the gift card scams and looked into this new job she had. He explained it all to her and hopefully now she'll have him check on anything she tries to do online.

My Papaw had it and now my Grandpa has it. Papaw turned into a sweeter old man, think Mr.Rodgers vibes, who'd tell me I reminded him of his granddaughter aka my mom. He didn't fully understand who I was, but he was delighted to share my company and insisted I have some tea/a snack because it was a hot summer day. Also wanted to tip my dad for driving him places, I think he left the money on the seat because dad kept refusing.
My Grandpa however...mean and abusive. He can put on a nice enough face when he focuses on it, but when that mask slips it is ugly. Fortunately he isn't strong enough to physically hurt people anymore.
Dementia is a scary thing, the thought that I may get it one day keeps me up at night.

It was Pangolin meat. It smells very bad when cooking, is illegal to possess and is indeed very hard to get.

@@AshLilyNeko I also kind of figured out because on one of let's reads pizza delivery stories the guy had to deliver this mystery meat pizza that smelt horrendous, and apparently illegal, many people in the comment section said Pangolin meat. There is so very few meat that could even fall under those descriptions and Pangolin checks out on all 3.

I wonder if Mr. Alverez (the old man with the bones and taxidermy) actually has undiagnosed Dissociative Identity Disorder. The fact that he said was sitting waiting for the young man to arrive then can't remember what happened after that and was shocked to hear about "Captain" kinda gives it away. That's very common for a DID dissociative episode, missing time.
