    Two suggestions:
    I’d put the airport sign above the entrance (so it’s centered).
    And for the control tower I’d add a layer of plates + hinge plates under the roof, so the angled parts will stay put,

      He can’t put the airport sign in the middle. The play feature is there. Robin maybe put a second sign to the right hand side to balance it.

    • @WardMaris
      @WardMaris 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@mikewebb9484 He could remove the 1x2 tile in front of the play feature and have the same sort of bowed tiles that he used now but 1x2 instead of 2x2. You could put it to the sides. instead of to the back.

      @RobinHoodBricks  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I put the sign in the left for some kind of balance but the hinge plates won't work due to the imperfect geometry of the build. You could only attach to the side already fixed!

    I love this airport! I love that it’s a facade as well! Airports can take up so much room, but you’ve represented the most important parts very well! And with the saved space we’ve got much more to enjoy! I do have one suggestion for the next part. When you do the hotel it should include a parking deck. Maybe make that a facade as well.

    • @RobinHoodBricks
      @RobinHoodBricks  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, that's the plan. Get all the fun exciting bits covered and then all the repetition and runways can be the other side of the wall!

    Airport is looking great! 👍 though I do think the roof would look a lot better overhanging two studs more. would help with the proportion and also give the minifigures a bit of a shelter to stand underneath in the rain .

    • @RobinHoodBricks
      @RobinHoodBricks  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just two studs will make all the difference? I quite like the small number of big pieces used on the top. It looks neat and tidy!

    What a ride this is. I love that control tower, looks astonishing and very real. I'm quite sure there is a way to avoid the hinged pieces from flapping around but I cannot come up with a suggestion to do that myself. I'm pretty sure some other fellow onlooker will provide that though!

    • @RobinHoodBricks

    Excellent job Robin. And seeing it now in context in the city. - you did the right approach in terms of the "fascade" look but it still seems like it could be a much larger building. Love the built up control tower design. I'm hopeful that you can extend the tram/monorail over to the airport as I feel like that'd honor the old Airport Shuttle set too - the one I loved but never got as a kid. :)

If so you might want to connect the side ing white two junctions so you can run the new train. Also the monorail could go underground to meet the train platform of the second station or it could be near the airport hotel you mentioned would be near the airport.
