Been a fan since the Burn the Priest years. More into their old stuff, their time sigs and chord progressions but stoked that my buddy’s drummer is their current drummer.
I’m not a drummer but didn’t Chris pioneer the heel/toe kick drum technique? He is definitely One of the drumming goats man. I saw them open for Metallica in Atlanta in maybe 07 or 08. Epic show.
Just got tickets to the Ashes of Leviathan tour. Lamb of God playing Ashes of the Wake and Mastodon playing Leviathan. 20 year anniversary of both albums. Both are 100% iconic. All incredible. I cant wait. Watching from Kelowna BC!
Me too lol, first time I saw them both was in 2006 I think, when they were touring with Slayer, my first concert ever and still the best concert I've been to not even remotely close, cool to see them both again at the same show, I'm a little disappointed though no Mark Morton or Chris Adler
@punxnotdead185 That's cool! But huh? Mark is still playing on this tour. According to my research. Nothing saying otherwise. But I've seen Lamb of God before. With Chris. It'll be interesting to see Art to his thing. As a drummer myself, I appreciate the respect Art has given to Chris's songs and the albums since. Nobody is Chris Adler, but Art Cruz is pretty damn good too.
Saw them live with my dad back in ‘06 , they were insane. Best live show I’ve seen. They were so tight and clean. Ashes of the wake is to this day my favorite album of all time. I don’t know how many times I’ve listened to it all the way thru. It’s my go to when mowing the lawn!
Saw then live a couple of months ago on their uk tour.... Still phenomenal to this day, huge shame that Chris is no longer with LoG though because he is one of my favourite all time metal drummers and he improves the sound so much
He is the most creative and ambidextrous heel-toe drummer. There. I said it. I’ve been a fan since _Ashes…_ and had always wondered how he got that extra free double-bass sound. Haake of Meshuggah, Gene Hoglan pf many bands lol, and Dirk Verbeuren are the others. Haake is #1 for me though. Matt Gartska is another…
Adler said the heel/toe just happened when he got to excited and didn't notice he was doing it until a heap of students pointed it out in a drumming master class!🤣.. what a fkn animal🤘
Their older stuff is much better than most of their new stuff. Theres definitely some exceptions for newer stuff but most everything before sacrament is pure gold.
Three times I've seen Them in concert. All three times they sounded excellent. And every album no matter what time stands up and is awesome. I get it there people that know the name burn the priest and there's people that like to say only the original stuff was good. Cool your OG. Be Og away from me,by your self, Stay away from me, walk. And if you just learned about Lamb of God last week welcome to the club, diggers be cruxed.
From Oregon and watched this tour live at the rose land in Portland, Chris and willie in the dictionary lamb of god is the only band title “pure American metal” Chris developed the heal tow technique for sure
One song somebody got hacked and they played and sped up so fast it was insane how fast they played it then Chris and willie looked at each other improve and then slowed the whole thing down, the place was insane,
I was introduced to LoG in 2006 and haven't really looked back. Chris Adler is a perfectionist...basically a machine. I really like Art Cruz but they are different drummers. It's a tough call between old and new but my allegiances will always lie with the old LoG catalog. Art Cruz was on Drumeo a couple months back - great episode.
Ashes is my all time favorite album but all their albums are fantastic except the self titled one with momento mori on it. The first 6 tracks were a solid 7... But this latest album... 🔥🤌🤘 September song!
Im I’m North Va. my dude 🤘🏼about 80 miles North of Richmond where LOG came from. Tbh, I really only listen to their first album lol. Idk why a lot of bands best albums, is their first album. It’s like they lose themselves after for some reason. I’m not saying they fell right off after cuz there are a few more songs of theirs that I like that were made after it, but nothing s-tier like their first album, which is a true masterpiece.
I love the old lamb of god .Well to say it accurately love lamb of god with Chris's adler..since his no more in the band i don't listen to lamb of god anymore but I god back to the old songs
Shoulder of Your God is maybe my favorite drumming track on there and I didn't even hear it until years later when I realized the original CD I bought didn't have it on there.
I miss Chris Adler's dynamics in the band. It was part of their signature sound. Much like Portnoy in Dream Theater. Art Cruz is awesome but Adler's drum sound and feel were as much a part of their signature sound as the rest of the band. Maybe one day they'll settle their differences. Watching from the UK. 🤘🤘 Saw them in 2007 with Chimaira at their warm up gig the night before the played Donnington. Utterly brutal and unforgettable!!
Greetings from Cuba. Tnx for including Lamb Of God, although i think u should repeat it, but with the new drummer next time. P.D: i prefer the old albums too.
Chris was more of a precision magician who brought a lot creativity with his style. Art is a powerful drummer who massacres the drums with a fancy latin groove and passion in it. Art has precision as well, but if I think of a precise drummer Chris is one if the first that comes to my mind.
Their live concert is rhe most amazing one very tight very clean and full of fun mosh pit everywhere and true metal by the way i love your reaction too🤘🤘🤘
Agreed. Cruz is an incredible drummer, but something has been lost since Chris left. It doesn't have the same feel. There's something about their older stuff that had a point of difference. All of their new stuff sounds very similar. Mainstream.
Wait. This was a "reaction?" All I heard beyond a few "tight" or "nice kit, I like the green" comments were vocals over the video asking for comments and subscriptions. 😂
Sorry, I can't stop laughing at how in every video, you break off every few minutes to turn to the camera and say one of the following: Are there any fans of 'video content' here Fans of 'video content' what's your favourite 'thing they make' Have you seen 'artist in video' live? You seem genuine throughout the video, but these questions just sound as though someone put a gun to you and told you to get people to comment. Well, here's the comment you're so, so desperate for.

For sure. The cheat pedal was built from his technique.
Just got tickets to the Ashes of Leviathan tour. Lamb of God playing Ashes of the Wake and Mastodon playing Leviathan. 20 year anniversary of both albums. Both are 100% iconic. All incredible. I cant wait. Watching from Kelowna BC!
I have seen them with Chris. Amazing.
About to see them with their new drummer....hoping it will be as good. I play drums too so I hear ALL lol
Me too lol, first time I saw them both was in 2006 I think, when they were touring with Slayer, my first concert ever and still the best concert I've been to not even remotely close, cool to see them both again at the same show, I'm a little disappointed though no Mark Morton or Chris Adler

everything so on point, best band of all time
ashes of the wake is their best album to me, saw them in DC at the 930 club, amazing band.
Saw them last year in Germany right in front of stage. I've never experienced such a high level of energy at a live show. Absolutely insane
Wasn't Chris Adler drumming right?
I think the playthrough they did of Blood of the Scribe was one of my favorites.
Saw then live a couple of months ago on their uk tour.... Still phenomenal to this day, huge shame that Chris is no longer with LoG though because he is one of my favourite all time metal drummers and he improves the sound so much
Oh my God that first song just gave me the most intense goosebumps
One of my favorite drummers. Die hard Lamb of God fan. It's a shame that he left the band. I've been lucky have seen them 4 times.
Matt Gartska is another…
I forgot to add Sean Reinart (Death), Mario Duplantier (Gojira).
I live in VA, been with them since the Burn The Priest years. Very lucky to have seen them multiple times!! So good live.
LOG never disappoints live.
Adler said the heel/toe just happened when he got to excited and didn't notice he was doing it until a heap of students pointed it out in a drumming master class!🤣.. what a fkn animal🤘
saw them in 2010 and Adler was an absolute machine, him and Jesse Beahler best drummers I've ever seen live
Watching from Texas seen them three times absolutely amazing
Their older stuff is much better than most of their new stuff. Theres definitely some exceptions for newer stuff but most everything before sacrament is pure gold.
Well worth checking out some playthroughs from their current drummer. He rips.
Been a fan since as long as I’ve known of them. Chris Adler is an amazing drummer , crazy technical , unique and very very clean
Three times I've seen Them in concert. All three times they sounded excellent. And every album no matter what time stands up and is awesome. Norway....where Lamb of God is my favorite band...
One song somebody got hacked and they played and sped up so fast it was insane how fast they played it then Chris and willie looked at each other improve and then slowed the whole thing down, the place was insane,
Netherlands, LOG is awesome live ;-) Randy began singing cause he could do the Cookie Monster sound ;-)
I was introduced to LoG in 2006 and haven't really looked back. Chris Adler is a perfectionist...basically a machine. I really like Art Cruz but they are different drummers. Here from Maine, been listening to them for a long long time, saw them with Megadeath when they came up here. Killed it as always
LOG fan here. Chris Adler is my favorite metal drummer. I was bummed when he left LOG. King of the triplets!
Oh, and I am listening from Long Island N.Y
I got to see them on their first tour after Randy got released from prison. It was in their home town of richmond Va at the National. It was awesome.
Shout out to Willie Adler 🙏
Saw headline with Corrosion of Conformity and Clutch opening for them. Def would catch them live if you can.
Been listening since they were 'Burn the Priest'🤘💯
Ashes of the wake was their high water mark. For me, it's like and justice for all ..
Ashes is my all time favorite album but all their albums are fantastic except the self titled one with momento mori on it. The first 6 tracks were a solid 7... But this latest album... 🔥🤌🤘 September song!
The first time I listened to them it was the drummer, I had never heard anything like it before and instantly I was a LoG fan 🤙🤘🤘🤘🤘
I've seen them live 3 times from the pit well once in balcony slipknot 2005 tour. Very loud.and fun.
Im I’m North Va. my dude 🤘🏼about 80 miles North of Richmond where LOG came from. Tbh, I really only listen to their first album lol. Idk why a lot of bands best albums, is their first album. Saw them on slayers going away tour. The show was amazing
From Michigan I love LOG ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Watching from Albuquerque, 505. Seen them twice here. Both shows were tops
I've seen them a couple times!! I love them live !! I like thier old stuff too ! I'm from Indiana !!!
LoG was one of my favorite bands to see live
Ahh the vomit riff. One of the coolest riffs ever written. I think even non Lamb of God fans would agree.
Definitely one of the best shows I've been at. Milwaukee at (The Rave) they played with Machine Head and Trivium.
Old LOG for sure!!
Which year?
Chris es tremendo baterista nueva suscriptora desde Chile 🇨🇱
You should definitely react to Blake Richardson's hypersleep dialogues playthrough
Their best album is, as the palaces burn, ashes of the wake, sacrement
I love the old lamb of god .Well to say it accurately love lamb of god with Chris's adler..since his no more in the band i don't listen to lamb of god anymore but I god back to the old songs
not sure who chris addler is playing with now but hes always been one of my favorites
If you weren't aware, that's his brother Willie playing guitar.
I am watching it from New Plymouth New Zealand.
Huge LOG fan. If you haven’t, you need to check out one of their newer songs, Ghost Shaped People. Shit slaps.
Wrath is by far the greatest lamb of god album of all time. Literally it’s a masterpiece. Pure American metal masterpiece
Seen them 7 times would see them 7 more times if I could
im watching this video from school....
Chris adler, joey jordison and the Rev best drummers back then
Love LoG. Saw them a couple years ago and they were awesome.
Greetings from Cuba. Tnx for including Lamb Of God, although i think u should repeat it, but with the new drummer next time. P.D: i prefer the old albums too.
My man doing his best to not go past the 7 seconds of silence as dictated for the rules of a successful streamer.
🤘🤘 Hellyeah!
the song reclamation is my favorite
RICHMOND VIRGINIA BABY! LOGs hometown
Watching from France
Melbourne Australia whats up colby
👋🏻🤘🏻
Chris was more of a precision magician who brought a lot creativity with his style.
Art is a powerful drummer who massacres the drums with a fancy latin groove and passion in it. Art has precision as well, but if I think of a precise drummer Chris is one if the first that comes to my mind.
Watching from carolina
Their live concert is rhe most amazing one very tight very clean and full of fun mosh pit everywhere and true metal by the way i love your reaction too🤘🤘🤘
Check out their new stuff. The song Evidence (off the Omens album) is freaking amazing.
Greets from Costa Rica, i preffer old stuff
Chris adler is one of the drummers that made me even wanna try hes the staple for that band art cruz is good but hes not robotic like adler
I love chris adler
And your channel👊
Agreed. Cruz is an incredible drummer, but something has been lost since Chris left. It doesn't have the same feel. There's something about their older stuff that had a point of difference. All of their new stuff sounds very similar. Mainstream.
Chris Adler is a beast..... maybe a fan, however he is no longer in the band replaced.... I love his style of playing
Love lamb of god bro!!!@
Older stuff for sure

Any love for Willie??? Tight riffing….
Wait. This was a "reaction?" All I heard beyond a few "tight" or "nice kit, I like the green" comments were vocals over the video asking for comments and subscriptions. 😂
My idol Chris Adler
Chris Adler is the man!
Don't sleep on Mapex
There old songs are so much better and heavier. 💪
L.O.G 🤘🤘🤘

1:26.
I miss Adler. He was unique, but you could tell he was too arrogant at the time.
Rightfully so.
Texas, and love Chris Adler, too bad he left lamb of god...
Also Descending is a great drum video to check out as well sir...
Trinidad and Tobago
Sturm & drank was awesome. Their newest album was ok. Their older stuff is better

Not the same since Adler left
Saw them open for Metallica in 2008. Stole the show IMO, but Metallica was still Metallica.

I wonder why they aren't as good 🤔
Ive seen LOG at least s dozdn times from 2004 to last year. They just keep getting better!
LFG!!
