Wow. This video is absolutely beautiful and brought me (Lee) to tears 😭💛. It is amazing to hear from so many people in your community who share a mutual love and appreciation for our ocean and our world. My personal favourite part is HOW many different accents you hear from all of your Patrons. You are uniting our world through creativity, love & inspiration . I / we love you three and truly hope our paths cross one day on the water or the road 🤗💛✨
I have spent most of my life land locked. Anytime I found myself near a creek, river, pond, or lake, I was always happier. Thanks to my parents, I got exposed to Lake Erie and the great lakes. At 13, I first saw the ocean in VA Beach and was moved emotionally, physically, and felt excitement, passion, and fear. I have been drawn to water all my life, and yet I only get there in my free time. I think my life needs more water.
Now you can really see what a positive difference you are making in the lives of so many people. Do you realize how great a gift you are giving us? I am proud of you both and truly humbled by your gracious generosity.
It's amazing how many people you guys mentally touch. I am a youtube nut. This channel is my escape. I watch nothing else even remotely like this channel.. it's mostly cars, guns and other mechanical things. Watching you guys live a fantasy life relaxes my soul. I save your videos for the right time and mental place. I know this sounds super silly. But thank you guys. Your personalies MAKE this channel.. Can't wait for the baby to join tue adventures.
Elayna, Ryley i just wanted to tell you: thank you for being my ray of sunshine. My brain struggles to produce serotonine in general, but i found that when your vids come online, and i click on them, i get a rush, which can last for as long as the video and even for hours later. I cant say my life is very good right now, but you and the wynns really are the wind in my sails, a breath of air i live by. Even the firsts seconds, where your smile, Elayna, or that smirky smirk, Railey, really straightens the course of my chemical ship. Even when the day is gloom on your end, and things dont look good, your strenght lifts me up. Even just knowing there is someone so beautiful inside, in this world gives me hope. Never stop being yourselves, and remember, we love every bit of you, the good the bad and the ugly just the same!
Aww..I'm just reading comments..hang in there, your journey will get better. I know, sometimes it seems like it wont..but find a book, or watch their videos and go on an adventure. Just put on music and relax....hang in there..HUGS
thank you yall for your words! it really is a rollercoaster this life we are in, isnt it. I always keep a little light on, like a boat in a tempest, it will never go under, i know, and maybe it is also because i kind of grew up with these rays of hope coming all the way over the other side of the world! Kisses from the boot (italy)!❤️
You guys have the most humble and well rounded channel on TH-cam by a mile. I always feel so much happier after watching a video or two. You guys are amazing, thank you for doing what you do. I truly think no one else captures the beauty of life like you both do.
I like the “vibe” you give off. I like the “feeling” I get. You two are the most real people out there! You make me want to break out of my shell. PS you never love my comment. Don’t matter I love your channel regardless.🤗
What an amazing edit - wonderful group of friends you have put together to show us how your adventures and love for others has influenced so many others - May you have the desire, energy and love to enchant us forever
I'm 60yo and lived and worked on or near the ocean my entire life but you guys have shown me what my spirit has desired all 60 yrs so thankyou from my heart for just being you..
Oh my gosh, what a great video! So fun seeing all of your fans send in clips and to show their appreciation both for the ocean as well as what you guys are doing with your videos. Fantastic! Hope all's well with you two and Lenny!
You two on Sailing La Vagabonde have inspired me in so many ways. I should count some! 1) you have inspired me to always check if the self-raising flour isn't bread crumbs. :) 2) You've inspired me to check for unwanted video cameras when I'm working on something when I could make a fool out of myself! Lovely to see so many people inspired by the ocean, and by you two (three, now.) Great to view some of your loyal fans and see how they are connected and inspired to the deep blue sea!
Thank you for a beautiful and creative tribute to the ocean and those who love it for all sorts of reasons. This was especially meaningful for me today as my dear mom passed away a few days ago and one of her favourite things was the ocean, sitting by it, boating on it, whatever.she was happy if she was near it. Great video.
How exciting, I made the cut! I Loved the editing and mixing your footage in with ours! This made me tear up and laugh at the same time! Haha! We love you guys! So honored to be a Patreon of yours!!! 😘❤️⚓️⛵️🏝
In April 2018 i lost my dear daddy. He and I spent so much of my life together on our yacht. He taught me everything i know about sailing and the sea. Now i am the keeper of our Sadler 32. Everytime I take her out, my daddy is with me. That's why i love the Ocean.
Without the ocean none of us would be here. You're videos make it a little bit easier to get through the winter! Keep it up, you two are an inspiration!
It must be so rewarding for you to see the diverse group of people whose live’s you have touched. The sea is definitely an attraction to a lot of people, but it’s your great spirit and good hearts that keep people coming back to watch more of your videos. I can only wonder if Lenny knows yet how lucky he is to be born into such a wonderful family. I have a feeling he does. Love you guys. Godspeed!
What an amazing vlog. Thanks for putting this together. It shows that you truly appreciate your patrons, and it was lovely getting to see a cross section of the World who love you guys as much as my family does.
Now this my friends is really a cool video. I absolutely love this!!!!!! To see just a few of the others out there that watch lavagabond and enjoy the ocean and yes....plain and simple, the company of you two. Even though your on a screen, your still here in my home each video. Thanks you guys thanks alot
I am so centered every time I am at the ocean, I live two hours away from it but every chance I get I go to it. And it is an immediate change in my attitude. Once I leave this 9-to-5 grind I’m buying a sailboat and living my life on the ocean that I love so dearly.
This is one of the best videos ever. Such a beautiful portrayal of people from different backgrounds connecting over a common love and passion for the ocean.
I love the ocean because of its diversity. It’s so different everywhere you go. It the ingredients are the same. Salt and water. It’s just so awe inspiring
Great video, as always. My first recollection of the ocean was hearing it at night as I went to sleep, about age 6. I'm almost 80 now and looking back, a great deal of my lifetime has been living on or near a beach, or lake, sailing, vacationing on or in the water and still always, as I go to sleep at night, there is the sound of the surf crashing in my head. Wouldn't change a minute of my great adventure. When it is over, my ashes will be spread in the Pacific and forever more, I'll be one and the same with the ocean.
I enjoyed the comment about time perception: "a day sailing allows me to reflect on what feels like a week's experience". A short break away from dull routines certainly feels like time has expanded in all directions. It was great to hear from your enthusiastic Patrons.
You guys have done a great job inspiring so many people including myself , seeing you grow from a little over 300k subscribers to nearly 591k is a great accomplishment ! Well done
What a great video! I'm 57 years old, and I honestly don't remember a time where I didn't play in salt water - either swimming, bodysurfing, board surfing, sailing, or snorkeling. The furthest I've ever lived from the ocean is Oakland, California (14 miles, but with San Francisco Bay between home and the ocean), and I can't imagine being that far again. I have too many favorite times in the water to pick one out, but I must say (and your video proves it), that the people I've met who also have a love of the ocean are my favorite people of all!
I've been a silent watcher for a while now but I felt like I wanted you guys to know, you guys are the bursts of sunshine through my darkest days. Even my boyfriend/partner is aware of this haha! For the past 1/2 years, I've experienced a lot of negative things and I'm really trying to keep my head up and stay positive. I hope everything falls in place soon, but because of these amazing footages, I'm looking forward to growing older and maybe once afford a trip on the sea. Let me put it differently, where before I didn't look forward to anything, I feel like there is a reason to keep going if that's what I'm going to work towards. Life feels amazingly unfair but nature in my case makes me feel equal and at peace (if that makes sense?) Anyways guys, you mean a lot to me and there is only 1 youtube channel whom I get excited about when they upload, and that's you guys! The best medicine is sailing la vagabond ⛵hahaha
As an Australian, i'm proud to know that a couple of my country-folk can inspire so many people to get the most out their lives. What a champion effort!!
Really lovely edit on this! Such a nice pace and beautiful collection of stories. Highlights just how much of a community is out there with the same love of the ocean and how inspiring it is to hear other people's stories of adventure or just appreciation of life and exploration. Great work! ⛵
I am very lucky to live on Long Island, New York, right on the ocean, and I spend every day of my summers in the water. This video brought me to tears, thank you guys.
What a great idea! Loved seeing everyone’s smiling faces. My first time on a sailboat was over 25 years ago, and I was walking the docks near Chicago. A couple invited us for an afternoon sail. My face hurt when we came back into the harbor at sunset- not from a sunburn, but because I never stopped smiling. Bought a Chrysler 22, then an ODay 25, then an ODay 34, and now I have an Irwin 38’ MK II. I haven’t stopped smiling yet!
Not near an ocean but love the water. If your interested how we spend the coldest days on the weather up here in Canada check out this short video, th-cam.com/video/Ybenkmaf1kE/w-d-xo.html
Dubai, June 2021. Enjoying this format of la-vagabonde video. Putting faces to followers is so connecting. Starting my day with a different vibe. Now wanting more to live off shore
I'm crying!! this so beautiful. how incredible that so many souls are connected by the ocean! I'm moving to near the beach soon for a change of lifestyle and I can't wait for many adventures and returning to the home I find in every place I travel: the sea
I love the amazing vibe these videos give off. I’ll catch myself smiling all the time well watching. I love the sailing videos showing life on the ocean.
Sailing La Vagabonde, I started sailing because I couldn’t get enough of the water, and after seeing your videos it only pushes me closer to my dream of traveling the oceans.
Hard to believe you have been doing videos for over 4 years. Hard to believe I have stuck with you that long. Not because there is anything wrong with your videos it's just a long time to be a part of someones life and not have even meant them. You have become a part of my life. Thank you very much. I do believe I will stick around.
On my third boat, soon gonna have my 4th. Love the ocean, love living on my boat..raised my 3 older ones in Hawaii on a 40 ft trawler, currently raising my 11 yr old on boats, started out with him on the 40ft in Hawaii, he took his first steps on that one. Then onto Savannah on a 75ft trawler, now we are in Key West on our 38ft trawler. Soon it's the Bahamas on a 65 ft trawler soon to be acquired.. I plan on doing this for the rest of my life, nothing like it.. My new girl friend is a boat girl, wouldn't have it any other way. Peace and love everyone..😃
When the water is clear and warm, it is magical. So many great colors of the creatures. I like the sound of the shifting sands and shells because of the surge when under. I also love seafood. I don’t think they is anything that tops it. The water, as Riley will confess, is addictive. It draws you back. You can only stay a little while then you much return to the world above. Learning to hold your breath and stay a little longer is a personal challenge. Going a little deeper is also a quest. I’m 69, in NIH as we speak getting treated for cancer. Been a water person since I can remember. Lived in the Potomac River alone with my dog from year six. Got to the Caribbean a few times. You two will have these memories when you are my age. Thanks for sharing your adventures. Dee
Great edits, great music - you guys do a top notch job! I love this montage because it is a not-so-subtle reminder that as vast and open as the ocean is, and as enticing as it's sweet lure of freedom can be, life is nothing without people. One gentleman said we were made to be on the ocean, but I'd argue that we were made to enjoy life with each other. This doesn't require the freedom of the ocean, but the freedom of your heart and your mind to dare to adventure, regardless of what medium you choose. Dare to live a life that leaves this place better than when you arrived and dare to live and enjoy life with others! (man, that was preachy....)
I was so scared of the open ocean, I learnt to scuba dive in the UK, and then flew to Australia and went diving on the GBR. It was one of the most intense feelings I’ve ever had, diving down seeing so much life in the ocean, turtles so close to me. I’ll never forget that. Love your channel x
The first time I watched one of your earliest videos, my wife and I were vacationing in Gore Bay Ontario, staying at the wonderful Queens Inn. The area (Lake Huron’s North Channel) is perhaps one is of the best fresh water boating areas in the entire world! We had sailed many years, but stopped to raise a family....which led to watching our children raise their family. Time moves very quickly, and so it has been a pleasure watching you both grow as sailors and as people with a social consciousness who choose to live life on your terms! How blessed you are. Although you asked for a connection to the sea, you really asked many to reflect our connection to water, your connection to the sea and to the freedoms offered to those lucky enough to experience sailing it in such a pure reality. Cheers .....and to your ongoing evolution!
Like the stars and mountains, the sea reminds me how vulnerable and cosmically insignificant we probably are. Some people are terrified of insignificance. Some of us find solace/peace in it.
Beautiful idea. You two always seem to be innovators in getting your fans involved while tying it to the beautiful environment. Cant wait to see what you come up with next!!!!
My good (and only) wife were fortunate to live in the USVI St. Thomas for a season. Our condo was right on Belongo Bay. Ocean just 10 yards from a 25 foot cliff that had waves breaking upon it. Weekends we spent on St. John and in the water. So many good times. Thanx for your vids!
Thank you for this SLV! Much love to you 3, and Cunningham 2, as well. Your videos simply melt the stresses of each day away! Literally!! Eyes open. Be safe. Fair winds ahead! Mel & T.
My wife and I are moving to Florida shortly. We will be looking for our first sailboat soon after. I'm a farmers son from Kansas and she is from Alaska. Something is calling us to this life.
The ocean is a beautiful place it's almost like it's untouched even though it is touched by man but it's a way to get away from everything and be free love your channel and love what y'all do keep up the good work you safe fairwinds
What an awesome video! That was really neat, I loved seeing and hearing from people like myself and our shared dream of doing exactly what you all do daily. Great video, thank you so much for sharing! Love you! Fair winds, and calm seas........
I recently found you guys from your video on catamarans & Catamarans complete guide book recommendation. Started following you post seeing your Rapido video. So I started from the beginning with episode 1. E199 Why we love the ocean made me cry and can't wait from my day to be free on the water!
I just want to say for those 8 minutes to 30 minute videos that you all do takes me away from reality an I thank you for that an thank you for everything that you do , take care an safe journey
This episode is so touching, i've been traveling with you for four years with you, but from other side of the screen. You inspired me to go and try sailing last year, for now I'll continue to practice. So keep up sharing your stories and good vibes. Hope to meet you one day some where in the ocean.
Thanks for making this. Our love of the ocean and the inspiration from your videos is why we bought a sailboat and set off on a similar journey - it's amazing (and hard) already and it has only just started!
I’m so glad people love the sea as much as me. Every time I dream it’s about the ocean. I can’t get enough of it. No matter what I type, it won’t describe my love for it. 🌊
My sailing experiences won't be forgotten. Have lived and worked aboard the Schooner Wolf out of Key West. Have had great times at the helm of the Wolf going to the Bahamas and back. One of the most memorable times was while snorkeling alone off Bimini and having a stare-off with some cuttlefish.
Perfect timing, I was just day dreaming about chartering a boat for a 6 month putt around the ocean. And this is why! Spot on guys, thank you for the clarity. I'ma start saving a boat load now
with the seas and oceans under such dire threat from all types of pollution it is so heartening to get the views of many thalassophiles - i salute you all
Why do I love the ocean? My children would never had obtained the knowledge and appreciation they have for the world without it. We raised our children on our boat.😁
Loved being at sea when I was in the Navy. I was more scared tied to the Pier than in 45 footers in the North Atlantic. Crossing the equator and going through the Suez Canal, the Red Sea, Persian Gulf and visiting the Seychelles was the best. It’s been 40 years. Best years of my life. Learning to sail is on my bucket list. I love your videos.
Ive lived in Canada nearly my whole life. I appreciate were i live... My family is from Cape Town South Africa...ive visited a few times with my parents...when i was old enough to go alone i drove with my cousins through Chapmans peak, and stopped and we watched a pod of dolphins swim near a whale and her calf...then we went with my cousins, to catch crayfish, i dunked my head in the ocean and heard the whales singing... So as much as i love and respect the Ocean now, she opened my eyes and ears and showed me WHY I SHOULD love and respect her.... Thankyou Ocean....😥😊 Please clean up after yourself if your lucky enough to go the ocean and try and refrain from bringing plastics with you...if we all do a little, it will help the ocean A LOT..... PS you guys are amazing to couch watch in the middle of a cold Canadian winter...lol
I was surprised nobody said that they love the ocean because it’s healing... mentally and physically! It is for me anyway... #BlueLife I love what you two do! Be safe and take care of that baby! Aloha from Kona Hawai’i! 🤙🏾
You guys inspired me to get into Spearfishing and sustainable living and now I’m moving to Hawaii in a month to work on a off grid a farm and spearfish thank you
Such a thought provoking video.. You guys have really created a unique community that is centered around that very subject... The love of the ocean... no place I'd rather be.. Cheers

You guys have the most humble and well rounded channel on TH-cam by a mile. I always feel so much happier after watching a video or two. You guys are amazing, thank you for doing what you do. I truly think no one else captures the beauty of life like you both do.
“My wife doesn’t do well on boats, so we compromised and bought a pressure cooker” has to be my favorite
My favorite as well. 😂😂😂
Sailing Uma says 'don't buy a couch'. Might as well say don't marry a land lubber.
That made me laugh so hard
Tears of joy watching this. You two have come a LONG way since the mono hull in the Med. Cheers, and keep up the good work.
I like the “vibe” you give off. I like the “feeling” I get. You two are the most real people out there! You make me want to break out of my shell. PS you never love my comment. Don’t matter I love your channel regardless.🤗

My wife doesnt do well cooking. We compromised and bought a boat!
That pressure cooker comment was a good one!!
What a great idea, bringing up a well of emotion for all the ocean love. You two are so inspiring, and all those videos were inspiring.
This definitely just made me cry. What a beautiful life you guys live. Love hearing why everyone loves the ocean.

Very well edited! I'd like to add my thanks to you both for being a window that we can all look through whenever that longing for the ocean strikes.
Don't know why, but this made me start crying. I never cry. Thank you.
This is beautiful! I got very emotional watching this video! So much love for you, your patreons and the beautiful most incredible planet we live on.

I always tear up when I watch SLV. The vibe is pure love and joy...it makes me get all choked up!

Yes, thank you for sharing your journey. Much appreciated, with out you two I would never known the experience.
You know u love la vagabonde when you like the video before it’s started!

This community is really something special, a group of people from all different walks of life united by one common interest... the ocean!
One of your best work yet. Absolutely love this video.
Dubai, June 2021. Enjoying this format of la-vagabonde video. Putting faces to followers is so connecting. Starting my day with a different vibe. Now wanting more to live off shore
I'm crying!! this so beautiful. how incredible that so many souls are connected by the ocean! I'm moving to near the beach soon for a change of lifestyle and I can't wait for many adventures and returning to the home I find in every place I travel: the sea
cooper how is your new lifestyle? It's been a year! I hope I can be financially independent and move out and be near to the ocean to :)
This was really a great idea, and very well done. Way to go EC! ⛵🏖🌞
Hard to believe you have been doing videos for over 4 years. Hard to believe I have stuck with you that long. Not because there is anything wrong with your videos it's just a long time to be a part of someones life and not have even meant them. You have become a part of my life. Thank you very much. I do believe I will stick around.
You two are true legends. What a great way to give back and show your appreciation to everyone that follows your adventures. Truly genuine people!
💋
Thank you so much for the joy you both bring to so many people around the world. You're my weekly mind holiday!
Dee
Awe, I love this video. It gave me chills. Thank you for sharing. Great music choice as well. Love you guys!
One of your best episodes by far. Love the sailing community and the love for the ocean.
Time to make the dream happen.
My favourite thing about the ocean is that it has given us the opportunity to be a part of your journey.
I hope you both have a lot of fun on hour journeys!!!
Nice! I grew up in AK. Still live there.
@@josesbox9555 we still have a bunch of family up there, so we make it up a few times a year. :)
Kansas farm boy also rebuilding a 28ft ketch hope to be out here to
@@willbk392 where ya from? Where ya at now?
What an amazing video. I had tears in my eyes and chills the entire time. Love you guys!
Really nice project you show us here ! Thank you SLV and thank you patreon ;)
I'ma start saving a boat load now
Beautiful! Great idea for a vid. Brought to tears of happiness watching it
Your guys creativity and message amazes me every time. Thanks!
What a beauuuutiful video! Smiled my way the whole way through. Bloody love the ocean! Can't wait to live on it one day ⛵
Wow that man's water color paintings were beyond amazing
with the seas and oceans under such dire threat from all types of pollution it is so heartening to get the views of many thalassophiles - i salute you all
THANK YOU XX. Loved Everything you have done,Enjoy your little man :)
Why do I love the ocean? My children would never had obtained the knowledge and appreciation they have for the world without it. We raised our children on our boat.😁
I have no aspirations to live on a boat or to travel the world but it`s fun to watch you two do it from the comfort of my home.
Thankyou Ocean....😥😊
Please clean up after yourself if your lucky enough to go the ocean and try and refrain from bringing plastics with you...if we all do a little, it will help the ocean A LOT.....
PS you guys are amazing to couch watch in the middle of a cold Canadian winter...lol
What a great idea! This is officially my favorite SLV video!
Thank you guys! This video save my day... thank you a lot.
What a great idea! Thanks for the work everyone!
I was surprised nobody said that they love the ocean because it’s healing... mentally and physically! It is for me anyway... #BlueLife I love what you two do! Be safe and take care of that baby! Aloha from Kona Hawai’i! 🤙🏾
Love your vids guys going to Spain to the warmth away from Britain. Glad I found your channel always put a smile on my face
