Had 2 mk2s and 2 mk1s guess what i sold the mk2s in a heartbeat. My ears felt the mk1 sounds much 'dirtier' and better suited for my sound while the mk2 more hifi and compressed almost digital. Mk1 is the king of drum machines ordering me a third one to replace my octatrack as with the newest firmware update rytm can do it all with better filters too. Shit i love em
