    Thank you for those tips. I successfully tried them all out on the court today. It is so much more fun to play when you are more aware of how to act and to have a plan.

    I followed the strategies in the video and won all the 5 sets I played recently 😆! I stand a little back than I used to and I did make more returns deep down the middle. I also hit more crosscout and recover very easily. Thanks for these great tips!

    Your videos are gold.
    I started to understand tactics better after seeing few of your videos on tactics.
    Last few matches I played I had your advices in my mind when deciding which shots to play and angles to chose.
    You made me a better tennis player.
    Today I won and I returned to see few of the videos just not to forget.
    Thank you, and greetings from Sarajevo Bosnia.
    p.s. my serve is better after your videos on serves.

    When should you lob when they’re at the net?

    • @saibott1254
      @saibott1254 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'd say the obvious would be, when your opponent is very close to the net (often on the second volley - cause you normally step in every time you volley.). But also when you get the chance to lob him on his backhand side cross court. Backhandside is normally the much much weaker smash or volley. Cross court gives you a higher percentage as you know.
      At least this is my opinion. :) I'd also be curious what @2MinuteTennis Ryan would ad here.

  • @gdevelek
    @gdevelek 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    You keep on urging people to hit "higher" over the net, while consistently avoiding to specify HOW high. In the previous video it was "higher than your opponent", as if you know how high my opponent hits. In this one it's just "higher". By hitting high, you risk hitting out, and to compensate you end up hitting soft, and thus sooner or later you provide mid-court sitters for your opponent to put away. As for Rafa, he hits with enormous topspin, not just high. The correct approach is to mix it up depending on the case, sometimes higher, sometimes skimming the net, force your opponent back and forth, keep him guessing.
