I could use these to open and close doors on model trains right down to N scale and perhaps even smaller. This would make a head turning realism when used on multiple units and comuter trains which in real life has automatic doors that opens and closes at each station.

Excellent work. What's the driving frequency & ac voltage necessary? Is it driven with a special shape? What about for small movements? I wonder if I can drive it with TI's DRV8662 piezo haptic driver with boost converter.
