Stunning John Piper Stained Glass Windows at St Bartholomew Church Nettlebed

The church of St Bartholomew has two stained glass windows designed by John Piper and interpreted by Patrick Reyntiens. One is in memory of Colonel Peter Fleming husband to Dame Celia Johnson of classic film 'Brief Encounter'.Peter Fleming was brother to Ian author of 'James Bond'.
John Piper also created other windows at Turville & Pishill Churches. He also created the Baptistry window by John Piper, at Coventry Cathedral. He has his own Wikipedia page. John Piper died in 1992 at his home at Fawley Bottom (nr Henley on Thames), Buckinghamshire where he had lived for most of his life.
His church windows are characterised by stunning use of colours.
