Great review. I just bought one from lowes. Locking system is a little different but they probably changed it or have slightly different models. One tip for handling the ladder in extension mode is get it to the length you want it and then pick it up on the end furthest away from the house. Walk towards the ladder and keep taking it up one rung at a time as you walk under the ladder. Then when you take it down lean it towards you and grab onto a rung and slowly walk out moving one rung at a time. Makes it a lot easier.
Thank you!! Your demonstrations are on point!!!! and I love how you use the camera distance to show us the additional information. I just bought this ladder and I am glad I was able to find this video. Great job!
Thanks for the video, I just purchased one and your video really helped to calm my nerves about the cost and value of the ladder in real use situations and not just a commercial to sell me on it.
Bless you dude, I'm waiting for delivery for my little giant M22 ladder. I wanted to see the versatilty of this ladder. A fantastic review and a wonderful house 😍 👍🏼
Thanks for this video. It has helped me to decide to purchase this ladder. I’ve been doing the same thing as you, researching for weeks and pricing it every site I could find it in. 👍good job and well explained
I've been wanting one for a long time I finally got one for only 176.00 that's with taxes woohoo!! I'm going to get to put my christmas lights up with no fear last year I had to use an old wood one that I had for years safety first. thanks for the video
Thank you for this video. I'm a first time home owner and never needed a ladder until now. I just purchased this same ladder today, and even though I haven't had the chance to use it yet, after watching your video i feel confident that it will be a breeze.
HappyRider Reviews After watching your demo, I actually got to clean the gutters in front of my house. Afterwards, I’ve extended tons one line to the highest possible, but as I got up to half way, the fear of height or the fear of not trusting the ladder would hold, kicked in. Ouch... all the set up. What’s your trick in dealing with going up 18 feet on the ladder?
In all Honesty, I’m afraid of heights too lol. But I did had to go up to 20 foot when I was putting up our recess light around the house. My thought was this, I weigh only 150 pounds, so that’s way below the maximum weight limit. So that took a lot of worry off my mind. Second and third, I made sure The ladder it snugged in one spot by pushing it down into the ground really hard AND I had another person standing down at the base of the ladder to make sure it doesn’t move at all. And lastly, I Did NOT dare to look down once I’m up higher than 8 steps. Go up, finish the job without looking down and always made sure I have 3 points of contact with the ladder.
HappyRider Reviews I will give it a shot again! The mistake I’ve made was once I was up there, I tried to see how high I was by making comparison to the buildings next to me. That wasn’t helping. You’re strategy make a lot of sense. I even bought a stabilizer to the very top of the ladder. But the roof extends about 2.5 feet out from the house so it made it even more difficult. I will give it a shot again! This time I’ll keep those elements you’ve mentioned in mind! Thanks again buddy!!!
Yeah, I just made sure I pressed down real good to the ground before I get on and tilt it towards the house good enough. This is by far the best and most sturdy ladder I’ve used
Just a tip bro, that ladder on the full extent on the roof is too far away from the vertical, a rule of 4:1 MUST BE FOLLOWED to avoid accidents or extreme pressure on the ladder, if you extended it 22 ft, that mean that your ground point should be no longer than 5.5 ft from the wall. It is an awesome ladder but at that height , no extra precaution is too much.
Thanks! Had one for years. only used step ladder portion. I didn't get fancy rollers or those fancy locking mechanism. Will try extension ladder 2morro.
Thanks for the great vid, it helped me deside. and I got the leveler ladder from lowes home. I wasn't sure but I did find out that I needed to level the ladder , so I got the one with built in leveler.
Only thing I saw in the video is with a ladder for every 4 feet of rise you want 1 foot out from the house at the base because that's where they are the most stable.
Looks legit. I was always worried about how sturdy it was when extended to it's full length but it seemed to hold you without any issues. Thanks for review.
Excellent video and how to. I️ already have the 17ft one but I️ need this 22 ft ladder since I️ have a 23 ft 2 story foyer to paint. Again thanks for for the easy how to video👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thanks. This definitely helped a bunch throughout the house. Especially when I was putting up the Christmas Lights! I love how they made it so simple to use and the portability of it. Highly recommended!
Thanks for the great video. At 8:10 minutes the ladder was fully extended on the ground. Now I am just wondering how did you (one person) carry it over & erect it against your house/roof (by one person)? Did you have some help to erect it? how many more people? & how did you erect it? because at 8:13 it was fully erected (thus, missing a segment, a gap). I really want to learn this missing gap & technique, bc my family of 2 had a difficult time to erect a ladder just like yours. Thank again.
I actually did it myself :) Took me a while, but I was able to do it my self. However, be very careful though. So if you unfold the ladder fully with only ONE side fully extended, then go ahead and rest it onto the house, and then now, with the un-extended side of the ladder being on the ground, use one hand to hold BOTH steps, the inner and outer steps on the unextended part of the ladder, making sure so that it doesn’t fall down on you, and with the other hand, open and unlock on both sides of the ladder, then start to push the ladder up and extend it out, one step at a time. Then finally lock both locks back with one hand while hold the ladder and steps in place with the other hand. Again, I would recommend to have two people, makes life much easier.
Accomplishing this yourself is easier than it seems. I followed the instructions that accompanied the ladder: Once the ladder is opened all the way to extension mode, lay it down with the steps and wheels facing up. Use the rock locks (the ones that look like rocker switches) to release first the inner ladder on the end with the wheels and adjust to the desired length and then make sure the rock locks are reengaged. The wheel end will be at the top, so that end should be positioned away from the wall. If the ladder is still not long enough, adjust the other end until it will end up being three rungs taller than the edge you will lean against, and make sure all rock locks and hinge locks are engaged. Now flip the ladder over so that the steps and wheels face down. Put the feet opposite the wheel end against the wall you want to climb. Then go to the wheel end and lift the ladder up over your head and grab the first rung. Now walk toward the wall as you grab each successive rung to push the ladder up to a straight up and down position. Then you can carefully lift up the bottom of the ladder and walk it out from the wall and set it down at least 4 feet from the wall, or more if you're working with an overhang of a roof. The rule of thumb for this is the height of the ladder divided by 4. So, if the ladder is 12 feet high, the bottom should be at least 3 feet out from where the top of the ladder rests. A good test of the correct angle is once you think you have the angle right, climb up the first rung or two and if it feels too steep or if you start lifting the top of the ladder away from the top edge, you need to move the bottom further away! Hope this helps!
Happy Rider Vlogs - I believe I will either get the model you reviewed or the LG Evolution model of the same length. I want to view in person and then judge. Curious to see how heavy they seem to be in person.
As for the LG, I’m not sure, but this little giant is easy to carry around, if you have to carry it in close/tight areas, or else it’s nice and easy to pull it with the wheels
Nice review! When in the fully extended A frame step ladder mode, it would have been nice to have actually used your tape measure to measure the height instead of just saying "about". Still, now we know that this ladder allows easy access to a 12 foot ceiling or perhaps even a little higher.
My family room is 25' and I need to replace a ceiling fan that is in the center of the room. Will this ladder go up to 22' "A Frame" style? I see extended it does, but that won't help me.
In the A form, it will not reach that high. You would need the Skyscraper model to go that high up. It’s quite expensive, but will get the job done. Here’s the link to it: amzn.to/2KsPzBz

It’s my husband’s family business - glad you like it - be safe !!!
I climb on a little giant ladder at my job. I’m a lube technician. I work with tall trucks and grease them. These are great ladders!
Bought one and love it. Very well made!
Thank you so much for the video!
Excellent video!!!
Beautiful house btw 🤗😎
Great job. I’ve owned a little giant for years, awesome tool for sure!
Thanks for the video it was very helpful
Well deserved review for a sturdy ladder ...nicely done
Thank you for this video. I'm a first time home owner and never needed a ladder until now. I just purchased this same ladder today, and even though I haven't had the chance to use it yet, after watching your video i feel confident that it will be a breeze.
Thanks for doing the demo on your hardwood floor! Makes me the first time user more at ease!
No problem! Glad it helped! Yeah, the rubber piece give it a really good grip and holds the ladder in one place WITHOUT damaging the floor

thanks for taking the time to explain 🙂 I will buy need have high ceiling 😅 peace ✌ 😊
Very detailed video thank you
Good information, thanks for sharing your video with us.
It definitely helped
It was sagging a bit when you climbed it fully extended. How stable is it fully extended? Do the feet seem to be giving you safety?
Yeah, I just made sure I pressed down real good to the ground before I get on and tilt it towards the house good enough. This is by far the best and most sturdy ladder I’ve used
It did sag quite a bit, I'm 6'2 and 215 pounds, I worry this ladder wouldn't be stable enough to use fully extended.

Thank you so much for this video!! So very helpful and gave me the confidence and know how to use the ladder successfully!!
Tfs, this has been the best video instructional wise that I have been able to locate.
Glad that it was helpful ;)
Great and well thought-out review showing all the benefits ... well filmed too!
A very thorough review. I have a much smaller version of this kind of ladder ...no wheels. :( Thank you.
Great review, I bought one! Thanks!
Thanks! Had one for years. only used step ladder portion. I didn't get fancy rollers or those fancy locking mechanism. Will try extension ladder 2morro.
Great video! I might purchase one.
Thanks for the review. So this is basically a 10' step ladder and a 22' extension ladder?
A very high quality and well built one, yes.
Thanks for all the great work you've put into making this video.
Great review!
Thanks for the video. Very useful!
Well done, thank you!
Amazing video! Thank you for this informative video review.
Thanks!
Seriously - Great job on this video
Thanks for the great vid, it helped me deside. and I got the leveler ladder from lowes home. I wasn't sure but I did find out that I needed to level the ladder , so I got the one with built in leveler.
Glad it helped!
Only thing I saw in the video is with a ladder for every 4 feet of rise you want 1 foot out from the house at the base because that's where they are the most stable.
I agree, the base looked way too far from the house when it was against the roof. Could slip when you're near the top.
Great job!
You gotta show the scaffolding. Does that one has the scaffolding option where you can make 2 little ladders out of it?
Nope not this one.
Oh no..are you sure? Is that the same one on amazon for $200?
Good video, thanks
Just got this ladder yesterday’s for Father’s Day. Awesome ladder well
Worth the money
Looks legit. I was always worried about how sturdy it was when extended to it's full length but it seemed to hold you without any issues. Thanks for review.

Nice home buddy
great video!!! Congrats on the Beautiful house!
Thanks!
Liked your video! I am 5 ft 9 inches tall. Would this ladder allow me to paint a 14 ft wall while using the 90 degree mode?
Thanks for the video very helpful!!
Thanks very helpful!
Ay man thanks for finally making a video with me. I'm down to collab again anytime. :)
Great introductory instruction video! Thank you for the quick tutorial on this ladder! (I am going to prune my trees with it in about an hour!)

It is nice review, thanks. Do you know how many lbs. of it?
Thanks! It’s 40lbs! Very durable and the weigh helps it stays in place without wobbling
Thanks. I'm going to buy it.

What's the weight limits
Can you use this ladder to use on stairs to paint walls?
Yes, you can. Simply adjust one side to be lower then the other
