Huawei P30 Pro: Zoom and Camera Lens Test, comprehensive & real life

I test the P30 comprehensively, pls have a look :)
In my opinion, this is an astonishing phone with its Leica lenses, unique and way off superior to all other phones I ever used. I love my iPhone (also being captured by the corresponding Apple ecosystem) but for photography the P30 is cutting edge & leading technology.

With 50x I think that’s normal to have some slight shakiness even on tripod... The tripod may not be sturdy enough at this kind of zoom.

When you enable AI It looks like an oil painting, it sucks, it just gives the illusion of better resolution but you actually lose details.

I think "AI switched on" does not harm and in scenes were AI does recognize the scenery it will improve.

It's not up to 5x times optical zoom. it's only 5 times optical zoom cuz rest of it is digital.

10x is hybrid. After 10 it's fully digital.

@@belec5964 What's hybrid ?? There are 2 types of magnification the picture. Optical or digital. Lens is fixed that means no moving parts. Optical is optical and digital is digital. "Huawei’s Hybrid Zoom uses dual cameras in a more intelligent way, utilizing powerful software to mix data from two cameras at different focal lengths in order to retain and/or rebuild more detail when zooming in. It’s certainly not optical zoom, and the results aren’t quite as good, but it’s more powerful than basic digital zoom"That's from Huawei official page. 5X optical only. All other magic zoomish things are digital.
