Nice review, Drew! The BMW 430i Gran Coupe seems like a very solid, and sporty vehicle in the luxury segment!
The exterior looks athletically elegant in traditional BMW fashion. I truly love the LED taillights... They are very bold with very unique, and have pronounced turn signal indicators. 😏
The interior also looks very sporty, and decently simple, too. I would have liked to have seen a flat bottom steering wheel on this vehicle. Especially, since it is equipped with the M package. The center stack screen also appears to be very crisp, and quick to respond, with little to no lag! A touchscreen functionality would have definitely been a neat "touch", though.
I also love how the trunk opens up in that liftback design, too. Very unique and very practical!👌
Overall, the 430i Gran Coupe seems like a pretty neat feature rich compact luxury sedan/coupe! Keep up the great work, Gold Pony!👊 I will definitely be Staying Gold! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I have the 2017 model as a loaner vehicle at the moment. I must say, it is very responsive for a 4 cylinder turbo... however, it just doesn't feel quite as nice as the e90/92's. My daily driver is a '07 335i , and I feel as if I have MORE room in that car (and it's a coupe!)
I just don't know about this one. I want to love it, but it just feels as if it's all show. It is an absolutely beautiful car, but the price tag is way too steep.
I think the worst part is the blind spots on this car. HOLY HELL the blind spots! If you are of average height or above, you WILL be in the back seat.

I have a white 2015 428 Grand Coupe with M-Sport...I forget everything, but is was pretty much loaded with things like Nav, surround view cameras, HUD, etc. The car was white with red leather. It was a good and solid car. I enjoyed it for almost 3 years. The dealer experience was another story.
One odd thing I will add. During the day, the gauge cluster isn't lit up...at all.
I had a hard time to choose between 2018 430i xdrive GC and Audi A5 Sportback few weeks ago. Their price almost the same and they are directly competitors. I went both dealership and got the quote as well as test drive; but finally I picked A5
may i ask why? i also find it hard to choose between those two.
What was the final deciding factor?
If you want a RWD then get the BMW, if you want AWD get the Audi. My 430i gets more girls than my S5 though. BMW is much more recognizable as a brand for non car girls.
LEDs are standard on the the facelift models. There's no more xenons

If you had to compare the 2018 430i Grand Coupe with the 2018 Audi A5 Sport Back which one would you say is better ? I am looking at either model as my next car.

Really ? Is the A5 Sport Back not as good ? The One thing missing in the 430i Grand Coupe for me is the Digital Instrument Cluster. It is supposed to be part of the Executive Package for the US market according to BMW USA's Press Release.
Yeah I was disappointed too I found out after I placed the order. USA Bmw's always behind from Europe so F them lol
Did BMW USA make any announcements on when that option will be added to the Executive Package since that is the one sticking point for me. Since the A5 Sport Back already has it its a win for the A5 but since the A5 SB is Brand new to the Market, there is almost zero discounts. The most is 1-2%.
Bmw has the old one in their Executive option it's not the Digital one. They gave me 2200 discount on my BMW, it depends on the dealer I guess Audi dealers suck lol

I have a 2018 430i Gran Coupe as a loaner for a few days. Car had 22 miles on it when I got it. Now granted, I'm used to my 2018 X3 M40i, but after 2 days now, I can't stand this car. The 4 cylinder sounds awful, both intake and exhaust. I'm 6'3" and the head room is terrible. Makes ingress and egress very tough. This car seems is such a downgrade from my X3 M40i, and I'm not talking about the performance of the engine. It has the old style rearview mirror with the old clown nose security light, small nav screen w/o a touchscreen and the hvac controls just look cheap. I imagine when it gets a full makeover soon, it will come up to the X3/ 5 series level. I'm also not a fan of the hunchback/turtle profile look of any manufacturer, not just BMW.

Audi a5 petrol sucks 1 liter oil on 2000 km ..... simply audi petrol engines are pure shit....
Get the BMW I know someone who drives an Audi and they are not very nice whatsoever for that reason I would never own or lease one!
