Thank you for the supporting words! And yes, BMW's are such a unique and amazing driving experience, which was what I really wanted to share in this video!
I have the original German Version, Four door, 430i / 4 Zylinder / Automatic / 252 HP - F36 (European), but REAR WHEEL Drive, fewer Options BUT M-Package in Estoril Blue and HUK, drove it on german Higway (Autobahn) - rides fantastically. Always get the V6 full option if You can and X-Drive. Bought mine "as is" with Rear wheel driver, the 4 zylinder is sufficient, yet not the top engine, because BMW is associated with the classdic inline 6 zylinder.
When I first test drove it (one of the first BMW's I've driven), I thought the engine was a 6 cylinder because of the amount of power and linearity, but it was actually an turbocharged 4. That's how far ahead their technology is.... But I would absolutely love to test drive the 6 cylinder and especially on the Autobahn! Will you be taking your car to the Nurburgring?! Would love to hear your experience!
@@vex123 No, I would never ever do such a thing. First, I am not competing with anyone, secondly, I am enjoying it on the highway for myself. The 6 cyl. rides better, no question, but in relation to the gain, the 4 zyl. is enough for "every day ride" And it is not a race engine. For this get the 6 zyl. M or Alpina - Way "better" because faster, but serously: Do You need it? - Do You have the money for this? - If the answer is Yes, go for it... It´s none of anybody´s business, what car You drive anyway. By the way, some data: F36 4 zyl. 252 PS RWD Automatic 0-100 ->5,9 sec. , F36 6 zyl. 326 PS 0-100 5 sec. - Therefore see the relation, think, if the price difference of 6 to 4 zyl. is worth it. In this case, I think Yes, because the grade of satisfaction of just "knowing of having the 6 zyl. is worth it. - But, if You view the practical side of the matter, there is simply no need for this, because as You mentioned before, the 4 zyl. is good enough due to turbo charging. And since I have the 4 zyl., I can fully confirm this.
Great review I have the exact car 👌🏻 but those tires don’t like even small potholes in nyc lol love those rims though so just put on winter rims for the nyc winters
It could be just a different trim / purchase option that have either a digital / analog speedometer, but I'm not sure. BMW purchasing options are amongst the most discrete and complicated ones out there...
I’m considering the exact same car. Not sure how I feel about Estoril Blue though. Looks dark in some lighting and much lighter, almost pastel, in other lighting.
Thanks for checking out the review! From what I remember, yea the blue is a lighter shade which is more noticable in brighter sunlight. But it still looks pretty cool. The paint job/quality on BMWs in general are also sublime, so you might get a better impression in real life. But it's definitely an awesome rock solid car though. Let me know if you end up getting it!
@@vex123 I went with a mineral gray 440i. 😁I talked myself into a few extra grand and getting the 6. Those Estoril Blue's really are sweet looking though. Thanks for the video. It helped me with the process.
I've got the same exact car, color M package but the 20 inch wheels. Amazing car. I just had it chipped, Auto baun motorworks. It amazing. 300 hp out of a 4 cyc. getting 35 mpg and still a blast to drive.
Sorry about that! The vehicle "under test" in the video was the 430i, which is the Inline 4 cylinder, but I also mentioned about the higher 440i trim, which is an Inline 6 cylinder engine. I mentioned the two trims interchangeably in the video and hope it didn't cause too much confusion. Also, I want to mention that the engine comes in either an Inline 4 or an Inline 6. I mentioned V4 and V6 in the video, which is wrong and tried to note that in the video description. Thanks for checking out the video!
There are No V shaped engines in a BMW, there're all inline engines. For example, an inline 4-cylinder is an I-4 or simply a 4 cylinder; it is not a V4. The inline 6 cylinder is an I-6, not a V6.
The 430i/440i uses the B48/B58 engine respectively. Both engines have a twin-scroll turbo (not to be confused with a twin turbo). Also noted by a few comments below, the engine configuration is a straight (inline) 4/6 engine configuration - my *terrible mistake.
@@Unplugged704 thank you for the supporting words! It really means a lot to me. Please don't hesitate to ask any other questions and hope you stick around for future videos. :)
Well, if he were driving the 440i with 6 cylinder, I would agree, but he's driving the gutless 2.0 turbo..... A V6 CAMRY and a 2.0T Honda Accord are both more powerful than this thing....
Might pick up a 19' 440i Gran Coupe next year since they're getting under 30k nowadays
Did you?
@Dixie-Normus-209 yeahhh, I mighta picked up a GR86 instead
Great review I can’t wait to pick up my 440i GranCoupe v6
You're gonna love it when you do! :)
Good review. Recently drove a 430i and that was accurate. Really like the explanation about how cars design features and how they affect the drive.

There is no such thing as an inline V4 or inline V6 (2 min 20 sec).
thought the same, someone needs to teach this guy about cyl config
Yep I was like HUH? Lol
Meh he made a mistake. No need to 💩on the guy.
Thanks for understanding. This was unfortunately one of my first videos which I REALLY struggled with, but hope I at least got some good points down.

Right on! The 440i really is an amazing car that unfortunately many don't get the opportunity to experience.
Im confused with the speedometer. I swear Ive seen some with a digital one and one with it nondigital. Why is that? The same year same model as well

Tire noise is there because of the run flats
