I keep seeing people asking for greats like Jackie Chan, Donnie Yen, Jet Li, etc. These guys are in the spotlight and well known and talked about even today. I think Scott is giving people who deserves to be mentioned alongside the greats and no longer in the spotlight who did amazing work and paved the way for others. He is giving them their roses. Much respect to Scott Adkins. This just my opinion of course.
I both think and hope you are correct! It would be a little different and still very cool to see those folks interviewed by the likes of Scott but the guests he gets now are awesome and in many cases, seldom heard from.
Those 3 are just too big of superstars, their schedules are always so busy. They don't have time for movie cast or interviews unless its a movie they themselves are making.
I can't believe I haven't found Scott Adkins TH-cam channel before now. I've been on a Scott movie binge lately and he's great to watch. Just saw Avengement. That was one brutal movie and enjoyed it a lot. These interviews are great and even greater, Scott lets the interviewee talk. What a wonderful series and Scott seems so humbled to listen to his guests talk. Good on Scott and he deserves the success he has. All the best.
I agree that Dolph stole the whole movie Universal Solider! I remember watching that movie as a kid and Dolph's performance in Universal Solider was so bad ass.
Still I can see the downside of playing a villain. When people think about Universal Soldier JCVD is the most remembered. But looking back at it I'm sure he did but at the end of the day JCVD must prevail ;).
Several years ago I was talking with a friend of mine, and she asked me "do you know who Dolph Lundgren is?" and I was like "of COURSE I know who Dolph Lundgren is, who doesn't?" and she said "well I didn't know who he is until the other day." She told me about how she met him, she was hanging out with a bunch of people on a boat off the coast of, I think, Marina del Rey in CA (or somewhere near there, I don't remember), and she was introduced to him and some other guy on the boat realized she didn't know who he was. The other guy says "you don't know who this is? He's famous!" and she said Dolph was like "well no, I'm not FAMOUS." And I was listening to this story and I practically shouted "what the fuck, yes he IS famous!" Anyways my friend talked with him for a while and she said he was just so humble and modest, and really very nice to everyone, not acting like some famous arrogant douchebag or anything. She was asking me "is he really a famous movie star? He wasn't acting like one at all, he seemed too nice or something." It warmed my heart because as a kid I loved movies like Rocky 4, Punisher, Showdown in Little Tokyo, etc. so much so I was really happy to hear that he was such a nice guy.
Thank you, Scott for coming out with this awesome concept of interviewing action superstars. And from a professional standpoint as well as from an entertainment and informative one, your show on TH-cam really stands out and you have been able to put an awesome show every time. Thanks a million for the great content, your upbeat, cheerful and beautiful persona during the interviews, your great choice of stars, your questions, your comments and everything is just awesome and a real bonus for the trillions of your fans out there who really love your movies and do miss seeing all you guys on the movie screen due to the present covid crisis worldwide. Wish you the very best in everything you do, Scott!
great to see Dolph in Art of Action, he deserves the space. Keep going up Scott with this serie, it's one of the highlights of the week to all the action genre fans.
How great to hear an intelligent conversation. Most of the time Dolph does not come across as the guy we see here. I think he has made some good movies. His Punisher was grim and gritty. Another great video in this series.
Scott Adkins needs to interview Scott Adkins on his illustrious career as the ultimate badass who’s battled ninjas, Unisols, Wolverine, Sabretooth, The Transporter, Dr. Strange, Bruce Lee’s creator, and hopefully, SEVERAL more Marvel characters in the future. All he’s gotta do is ask questions and have the camera switch back to him, maybe with a different appearance, ie, facial hair, hairstyle, etc. Scott deserves to be interviewed... by Scott. Scott, make this happen! 🤜🏽👊🏽🤛🏽
Scott's revealed a lot about himself over the course of these interviews, whether reminiscing about working with and/or admiring his guests, but never putting the attention on himself. He does a terrific job with these!
Mantis Lake Oh, I totally agree with you. He’s incredibly humble and seems very down to earth. But my idea was more of a cool, unique twist on his interviews... kinda like Mirror Match in Mortal Kombat- another movie he should be in. He’d make one hell of a Johnny Cage!
This is a great series. The answer to The Expendables wish list of action stars. I await with baited breath for the next guest. You are a great host. I can feel your excitement when you meet one of your personal favorite stars. Good job Scott. I will be watching for more great fun.

I love Dolph Lundgren. My father took me to see Universal Soldier when it released at theaters, and grew up with all the Action Movies we all came to love, and one of my all time favorite movies is Showdown in Little Tokyo with Brandon Lee. That movie is fantastic. I thank you Scott for doing these interviews for the fans. I love hearing the stories. Keep up the great work 🍻

I have to admit to have 2 of my favorite action stars talking about the movie magic is so awesome. Ivan Drago is my favorite Rocky villain in the whole series. Dolph and Scott are just so humble as they command respect with their charisma and showmanship.
Awesome ! You can see the real martial artists always have this great attitide of honor and respect. Still a big fan of Dolph and he gives me hope that people keep going with an action career even stronger.
I discovered now (late unfortunately) what you do Mr. Scott Adkins in The Art of Action. It is a great pleasure for me to attend your discussions with actors of action films, actors that I love. I love also the way you move in the fight scenes. In my youth, I watched Bruce Lee movies without breathing, and I thought that there would never be anyone who would do something at this level, in martial arts movies.Fortunately, I was wrong, and there followed a series of actors who impressed me in this kind of films. I saw many of these actors again in The Art of Action, as they actually are, something that impressed me again. I don't know if my opinion, some unknown person, is important to you, but in the series of great actors of action films that I love, you occupy an important place, and your human side that you reveal in The Art of Action it made me love you even more.Keep doing what you are doing, because you are doing a great job Mr. Scott Adkins !
I can't get enough of this series , every interview has been fantastic and all the people are brilliant. Actually met Dolph with my dad in a spa center where we live. The guy was doing splits in the sauna :D :D :D

Enjoyed every single minute. Geeked out each second 💪🏻🖤
Awesome ! You can see the real martial artists always have this great attitide of honor and respect. Still a big fan of Dolph and he gives me hope that people keep going with an action career even stronger.
"I Come in Peace" always loved that film as well. I gotta go re-watch some Dolph Lundgren movies. 😁
Legendary!
I can't get enough of this series , every interview has been fantastic and all the people are brilliant. Actually met Dolph with my dad in a spa center where we live. The guy was doing splits in the sauna :D :D :D
