WW1 rusty rifle bolt restoration. I found this old rusty rifle bolt in the woods on a WW1 battlefield. Bolt from a Mosin-Nagant rifle. Model of 1891. I decided to restore the bolt of the rifle. I removed the rust and preserved the old iron. This is not a gun restoration, just a part of an old rifle. I hope you liked my restoration. The bolt is from a Mosin Nagant rifle of 1891, hence the "1891 Year" reference.

In 1930, the rifle was slightly changed. Then it became known as the 91/30. This was the rifle used by the Russians in WW2. Both were chambered for the 7.62x54r which is still being used by the Russian military in some weapons.
