- WW1 Ersatz Bayonet Restoration. I found this old rusty bayonet in the woods on the front lines of WW1. This is a bayonet for the Mannlicher m1895 rifle. I decided to restore the bayonet. The bayonet was very rusty. I removed the rust and preserved the old iron. I hope you liked my restoration.

I initially didn't like your work because the first video I saw was you cutting a 500+ year old knife. But after all everything you do is pretty good and fair as hell. Keep up the good work!👍🏼

Why do you use Electrolysis for certain restorations and a 9% vinegar bath with a baking soda neutralising bath for others?

Why not take all the pieces apart . Was there not rust in between?
Why sandblast and all that without taking it apart?
Why weld the edge but leave all the pits ..?
Why did you not re-heat treat the blade after welding ...?
