Thank you! This is the first bag I started collecting years ago. I loved the nyc glue in registration and day dreaming of it being the perfect bag for nyc in the 70's. I need to check out the tabs on mine now. And I didn't know it came out again, I love Costa Rica bags so I will keep an eye out!
Love your videos! I love Bonnie Cashin bags and clothing as well. My burgundy NYC bag with the glued in registration # has the chunky dog leash clasp with a nautical stamp. The twin strap is 37.5". It also has the long tab and the black fabric zipper is not a Talon zipper.
A few years ago, I had one Coach bag to my name..a black Basic that was a gift in the mid nineties. For whatever reason, I seldom used it. So, I sold it. Fast forward a few years, and I caught the vintage Coach bug (maybe from your videos?! 😄). Anyway, I have several vintage Coach bags now but wish I had kept my Basic. I knew nothing about creeds then, so no idea when it was made or where. But, at least I’ve expanded my collection and am more knowledgeable now! I enjoy your videos and learn a lot from them!
Hi Michelle, can I make a request for a "someday" video, please? I'd love to find out what you can tell us about the Pocket Bag (Style # 9875). Thank you! Love all your videos!
I have a Navy Basic Bag with the 4-3 number format. It’s my only one like that. I also have a Forest Green with a stamp error that is 8 digits and no dash. It has a zero after the third digit so I suspect based on color and the zero that it’s suppose to be XXX-XXXX.
@@Linda-nk7nl yes! Did I mention this in the video? It sure was on my list of things to ‘talk’ about but now that you are asking I am not sure that I did🤔

I have a made in New York with the glued in registration. I think it's british tan.
Great video! I carry my red 2002 basic bag all the time. It’s so lightweight and a fun color ❤

@@carnabyy2312 would make sense seeing as I did see them in the 1991 catalog but I suspect they may have ceased that year.
Do the 2006, 2008 and 2012 straps use edgecoat, perhaps on the strap? Thanks!
