I think this trend has been around forever. My grandmothers had bags of their knitting/crochet/books that would move around their houses depending on where they were. I have a little basket I take from room to room filled with my kindle, book (cause I still love the smell of a paper book 😅), wintergreen mints, scrunchie, pocket journal and pen. I love that it’s now called a house purse!! 👛 ❤
Pretty much the terminology has been modified every decade or so. But the house purse 👛 concept still stands. Check TH-cam 2009-2010 you will see a ton of tutorials and displays/ reviews of various versions of them
HAHA i saw the thumbnail and my first thought was, oh like the bag i carry my crochet around the house in? 😂 sometimes i have a little snack in there too
I always hear “trend” for things that existed for many years. My grandma was doing that 50 years ago. Very few things are truly new, other than tech. They’re just discovered by a generation that didn’t know about it.
@@gabby222themoon hahhaahaaa it’s so silly 🤪 maybe the yoga pants industry needed to appeal to a new generation and swapped all their website listings. Ppl r so funny
I never cared if someone had fakes and knockoffs unless they were trying to pass them off as authentic and sell them. I also don't think knockoffs and knockoffs are that terrible, I guess I can understand people not wanting the same packaging as everyone else, but if it was a good *hotdups* , it makes sense that more people would want it, authentic or not.
This is why our grandmothers had baskets with sewing, knitting, etc. As well, many older people nowadays are surrounded by small tables by their favorite chair with all their meds, paper, pen, etc.
Also, people with disabilities can use a house purse or bag to save them time and energy. It is hard for me to get around sometimes, and my house bag helps me have everything I need in 1 place.
"I'm amazed at how well my *hotdups* handbag is still holding up after a few months of use. The leather is well made and still looks as good as when I first bought it."
This. My mum has arthritis and she can’t get up the stairs so well without holding on to two handrails so I suggested ages ago to put her stuff in a little lunch bag and so she can put it on her arm and carry things up the stairs again like her phone, her book and other stuff ❤
Great idea! I have plenty of bags around here, I could use for a house bag! I do have knitting and crochet bags but I always have a pile of stuff that my husband hates, on my end table and on my nightstand. This may be a solution to keep the clutter off of my t end table. I am going to see what I have that has organizational pockets. Know I have plenty of makeup bags, I don’t use. I am always wondering what to do with them. I usually try to give them away to my daughters and granddaughters. I don’t have a reading kindle but I have an iPad and a Samsung Tablet that is smaller. I keep them both so if the battery goes dead in my iPad, I can temporarily use the Samsung tablet. I do have a laptop as well. But on my end table, I have a basket with chapstick, hand lotion, microfiber cloth for my glasses, a pen clip, Vick’s vapor inhaler, etc…. Just odds and ends. A pen and paper, a little notebook with passwords and such. I have ear plugs for when I get a migraine, my phone and stand, a hair brush and comb for my Yorkie and cats, so when they sit with me I can groom them. I have a small bag of elastic bands and bows for the Yorkie too as I have to fix her top knot almost every day. I also have a small container with my blood sugar testing supplies and blood pressure cuff. I don’t use them everyday so I can probably move it somewhere else. Anyway, Thanks for the idea! I may need a bigger tote for all I need.i do have a box of Kleenex on one end table but I could put one of the small packs in there for when I st in another spot.
This is unrelated but it reminds me of my “pain pouch” I live with chronic pain & migraine. Multiple chronic illnesses. I wear/bring my pouch everywhere. I even have a work one. Oral pain meds, icy hot pads, TENS machine m, batteries, peppermint roller oil, my injections & supplies, and sunglasses. To name a few items I carry in my “pain pouch” I have it with me even if I’m just going to church. And comes with me room to room when I’m just at home also! It has been game changing for me! I’ve been using it about 5 years now! Very cool idea about the house purse. Very neat. ✨💕
there’s nothing worse than being in another room on the other side of the house and say are breastfeeding, and sit down just to realize you left your book, kindle, water bottle etc somewhere not near 😭 this is genius
I've had a house purse for years and it's a game changer. It's great to have my headphones, pens, highlighters, ect that can move around the house with me. Esp. if I want to go outside on the porch. Bam, it's already packed. Am so happy that others are discovering this!!
Just discovered your channel and I love it! Funny thing is, I saw a girl on the subway last week wearing a New York Demerier midi and I totally fell in love with her. I want to buy a*HOTDUPS* .This will be my little birthday present. Thanks for your channel.
If I had money, I'd go for fashion, private labels, etc. The fashion world changes so quickly, and knockoffs allow me to change my style often and keep up with the trends. *hotdups* It totally meets my needs.
I think what matters is... Are the *gtdupe* of good quality? Are they made from the same materials as the originals? If they are I hope the site never fails
I have a “couch bag” for my journaling stuff, but I’m totally going to add a lip balm and a few bits and pieces to it now so it can be my house purse 👜
Thank you for this idea. I'm having nerve issues in both hands, making it hard to carry my stuff around my house. Got a backpack from my stash and now have a cute bag to take around the house hands free
This reminds me of Flylady’s “Office in a Bag,” so she could take care of stuff no matter where she was: Back then, without so much technology, it meant a zippered binder with a convenient handle. Stationary or cards, Envelopes, stamps, paper, clips, pens, pencils, little calculator, rings for paper to write on, pockets to put things in. She was able to manage her own Appointments, contact information, Handle all of her mothers, financial and medical information… No matter where she was. She could be at a doctors appointment, in a waiting room, and her favorite chair, on the go, wherever. She also had something called a control journal, and you could print the pre-printed designs on your own if you wanted to create your own Flylady planner.
This was especially helpful when I was taking online classes. I had a house tote bag for my computer, books, chargers, pens, etc so I had everything I needed whether i wanted to study in living room, bedroom, or on the porch. And I was able to get some good use out of a tote bag that I wasn’t reaching for as much when I went out
Never heard this term, but it makes sense. I used it to keep from going up and down stairs so much at my son’s house last week. I was calling it my “Sophia” bag, after the Golden Girls character.
My mom has a house basket with her purse, nail polish, vitamins etc. I have a basket in the living room with stuff too. Had no idea it was a “thing” lol
Even if your house is small, using a house purse to keep all your most used things together so you can grab & go is smart. We live in a hurricane prone area & during the season, it makes sense to have bags ready to leave at a moment’s notice. Or even if you go on a trip, you don’t have to worry about packing everything. I don’t have a house purse, but I do have a Nintendo Switch case that has all my gaming stuff in it, so I guess that’s my gamer bag lol
I live in a two story home and have had a bible bag and crochet bag too. I’ve been in this home 30 years and learned this way back when. Got tired of running up and down 😅
Oh, I so need this! Our master bedroom and living areas are downstairs. My sewing and painting studio is upstairs. In both areas, I need a drink, my phones, lip balm, hand cream, 2 planners, etc. I invariably always leave something! Just a couple of weeks ago, I ordered a 3 piece set of quilted toiletry bags that I ‘loved’. Now there is a fabric print that I ‘love’, even more. This is the perfect excuse to order a 2nd set!
I thought I was EXTRA for doing this for years. so this is a thing 😂LOL, I always need lip balm and hand cream when downstairs, phone, iPad, notebook, pen and whatever else. 😂😂. Before I moved to a smaller house I had a pink room on the main floor front entrance I would always need those items when hanging out in there.
Omg I've been doing this for years I'm glad it finally has a name 😂😂😂 It has my current crochet project, my book and/or Kindle, my headphones, and just some lotion, chapstick type stuff My work gave us these tote bags that I wasn't gonna use for anything else so that's what I use for my current "house purse"
I’ve never thought to do this and I love the idea! First of all, I’ve loved and carried purses since I was a child so the thought of using a purse at home is right up my alley lol. And now since working remotely, I find myself daily gathering up certain items I want to bring with me into my home office. I’m gonna use this cute Victoria Secret metallic fuschia cosmetic bag that’s currently housing some crafting items 😊
Makes perfect sense even with a small house. I used a very nice basket purse from Longerberger Basket, that is open and stands up for my journaling to stationary that I can just pick up and tuck back away. I’m infamous for losing pens to mechanical pencils that is an excuse to raid the school supply area. I do add hand cream to individual makeup wipes. Yes a planner/s of from purse size to desk. I do use a digital for those times I do not carry my planner or just out and about. Another suggestion if you have a toddler set one up for them with purse size tissue, hand sanitizer maybe aa small activity book with color pencils. How about a treat you pack in there so when you are on the phone they have their little house bag.
I know it’s not like an every day essential anymore but I made an apron with big pockets and it’s so handy!! Everything I need is on my person and then I can take it all off when I don’t want it. Obviously really heavy stuff like a water bottle etc would weigh you down but I swear by it now.
Your title caught my attention 😜 when I saw it in my homepage videos. I don’t have a Kindle (use iPad for audiobooks and other ISH, of course), so my intent wasn’t finding a bag for this. However, I have several Clear handbag/storage cases, as well as an unused makeup organizer, so I’m definitely going to start using these to store things I use frequently. I already had a journal inside of a Coach Notebook cover which was inside of smaller Clear Makeup bag, that fits nicely inside of the larger Clear handbag. As some who is disabled, it really helps to have things you need readily accessible and inside of CUTEEE bags you already have! 💋🫶🏾💪🏾 BTW, I have Tote Caddies for my Bible Journaling/Studying & Planners, so it only makes sense to have a “House Purse.”
I've been doing this for years - has my current crochet project, paperback, kindles, extra cell chargers, ear buds, lotion... I did think it was funny everyone ran out and bought the same courderoy bag. 🤣
@@AngieLiTV I draw/paint with a variety of media (hence the requirement for the tote lol). So I have pencils, brushes, sketchbooks, watercolour palettes and paper etc all in there.
I have always done this! I have a ton of medication and need to have it with me at all times so I always had a bag! What I use now is a purse organiser and then when I get ready to go out to work or socialising, I just pop the organiser in my "outdoors" bag (LOL) and add my my make-up bag, keys etc (which I tend to have organised in a tech bag) and I am good to go!
I clicked into this because I was curious if it was a slam video, and I don’t know why I was even curious. Then I stayed because I’m so intrigued with all of your suggestions! I’m disabled with chronic pain, and between your video and some comments here, I’m legitimately going to make some adjustments for the better in my “medicine box” as I call it. It *probably should* all be common sense because so many before us have done this very thing brilliantly, yet I’m middle aged and still learned some things! Excellent content 👏👏👏
It amuses me that people have never seen relatives or people in movies have a "house purse" i personally just carry my actual purse with me up or downstairs.
A tskit, a tsakit I have an apartment basket-I’ve used an Easter basket for years, it’s decorated in pretty ribbons and I change it up every two years-it’s an open basket and easy to use, keep things inside because it’s a bit deep and readily see what I have inside.
I have a building purse, a car purse, and a house bag. Didn’t know a house purse was a thing! I group my items in bags at home quite often so perhaps it’s the same concept. 🤭
I should really do this; I always have kind of a nest of stuff around me and as I'm already carrying a lot of medical stuff from place to place in my house it makes sense to put my book and my journal and my Switch and my phone in one place. Great idea to use a clear concert bag, as I was rather annoyed to have to buy one of those for a festival earlier this summer - I already felt like it might be good for picnics but this would be such a great everyday use for it, and the fact it's transparent is even better because it means that if I'm going out I can just glance over and check that I've transferred anything I need from it (e.g. my daily meds case) into the handbag that goes outdoors with me.
yes! thats the bad thing about being a bag lady is having to look through all of them to see where you left something behind. I am posting and update now with some recommendations since it stirred up so much good convo
We’ve always had house purses - each woman across the generations in our family. The different thing for me is that I also keep my current reading items in a separate zippered book sleeve.
Thank you for this. It’s so ADHD friendly. I just ordered a cute, boxy, compact tote bag with lots of pockets and handles from Temu. If it’s something I need to sling over my shoulder or body, I won’t - it’ll be too annoying and inconvenient for me - so I need one I can “grab and go” with the handle.
Best advice--use what you've got. Best reminder--for many of us, our grandmothers did something like this years ago. I have a bag for my current craft and a bag for my Bible study and a bag for my planner, etc. ...cuz I had too many bags and wanted to get some use out of them.
This is an awesome idea. Thank you for sharing, I haven't seen this on TikTok yet. I think I'm going to find a caddy with a cupholder because I'm always leaving my drink somewhere and I never realize until I'm comfortable, and then I have to get up and hunt for it. Hopefully this will stop me from finding flat sodas in random places hours after I've lost them 😂
You don't need a Kindle for this. You can carry your phone, charger, books, crystals, lip balm, lotion, meds, etc. You can also use a tote bag you got for free or a reusable shopping bag, an old purse, etc.
Ah, I have solved this problem by having chargers plugged into an outlet near every place that I sit, along with a chapstick. I keep my outside purse on the floor next to my most frequent chair. Then I only carry my phone and drink from room to room.
I saw this, didn't think about reading because I'm kinda old school and just have a book, I think tiktok has turned reading into an aesthetic, with the annotating and highlighting etc, but I remember old school booktube where you got hate for even creasing your book, never mind writing in it! What I love about this though is that it doesn't have to be just for reading, I'd use it for my chronic illness supplies, so extra painkillers, heat pads, lotions, ear plugs, things I need during the day and night, so I don't have to have multiples (although I do because I ended up always forgetting the bag anyway) it could be for anything you think you need at any time, so chargers, hobbies, maybe a lighter for the different candles in each room. Make one for cleaning supplies, etc etc. there are so many uses for this, and I think it's great we're rediscovering ways to make our lives easier
I don't have a Kindle and I don't even really read but as a stay-at-home mom this is going to be a life-saver, in fact it's something I've been thinking about doing for awhile although I didn't know the word for it. I put mine together while watching your video. My son hates for me to leave the room but I can't easily carry all 23 pounds of him and all my things around all the time. Having his toys and my iPad and sketchbook all in one bag would be a lifesaver on my back. And so many other things I don't keep around the house because we live with my parents and I don't want to impede on their space like my vitamins and chapstick.

I have been doing this for about three years now. I started with a rolling cart from Michael’s, but it wasn’t practical in a small apartment. So I recently started using craft totes. I have multiple ones for different purposes, mainly one for “fun” and another for crochet projects. I’ve been meaning to make a “calming and self care” tote with essentials for self soothing when I’m dealing with sensory or emotional overwhelm, pain flare ups, etc. It’s also good to have a backup upstairs vs downstairs too, if you struggle with fatigue, just in case you still forget your bag and have a hard time moving. I could just have one house bag, but it can get heavy… ,
Just now hearing about this after years of dragging my backpack everywhere with me, even in the house. Relying on many braces and medication and being my particular set of chronically ill and disabled after a rather big accident, just needing to go a few feet extra where I can avoid it, makes for being able to cope with less medication and such so yeah, been carrying a lot around. But mine changes a lot because I love art but then I just wanna sketch and other times I prefer to paint. These days I’m mostly figuring out self drafting my patterns for particular clothing or fabric designs for my particular needs. Altering my clothes and making cases for everything. So taking a small notebook and some (colored) pencils and pens with me to jot down my ideas, measurements and such. But the most necessary reason why mine changes so much is that I have had cats for 15 years, now only have 1 but my mom is HIGHLY allergic to cats (despite bing a huge cat person, feel so bad for her) and I always need to change into a clean set of clothes before heading out to her (I better won’t even pet my cat after that) and change out every bag for a clean one that is fresh out of the washer and dryer or hung to dry on a rack in the room cats aren’t going to. Of course I can’t have multiples of all my braces so she will always have to take extra precautions (all sorts of meds, oral, spray,…) and even then it’s not without discomfort for her but at least it is doable this way for me to stay at her place for a view days (cats are never alone, we never go on holidays since my cats came into the picture but when I stay at my parents or a friend for more than 1 night, my husband is still home). Sucks that she loves me, if you look at it from this allergy angle 😂
As someone with ADHD, I have been doing this "trend" since I was a toddler. My first "purse" was a blue and yellow stroller that I loaded with my must haves and pushed it everywhere.
i’ve been doing this for a while but i just put everything in one of my book sleeves! i should get a lil pouch/purse cause i love carrying all my stuff around the house 😭
Never heard of that concept but it makes total sense. I now moved to a two floor house and I’m find hard to keep my stuff at hand. I will try that but not buy a new bag. Just use one that I already have.
I love this idea, for all the reasons you mention. It will keep me from looking for the phone that I accidentally left somewhere in the house, will allow me to always have a notebook or pad and pencil & pen with me, etc. I have some great bags, so I’m going to test out several of them to see what sticks. 😊 Thanks!
I’ve had something like this for years. I call it my bedside table bag. I use it to lounge in different rooms. But also for travel. It’s got all my essentials. I use one of those soft cooler bags. The bigger ones. It’s a game changer
I have a basket. I got the idea from a writer who said it helped her keep her most used items together at the house. I love this idea. It’s super helpful. I hope people don’t feel the need to buy a bag just for this.
I like the concept. Saturday mornings I resemble a child holding their blanket , teddy bear etc. from the bedroom to the living room. Only I have my phone charge cords, tablet, ereader etc. I have a cute backpack purse that I stopped using that would work well as a house purse.
At first I was like, what and then I was like that makes so much sense for my ADHD!!! Like the last thing I wanna do when I want to relax is to go and find all the related items I need to relax and then I might see some work that I'm the tempted to do because of my ADHD brain. This could be revolutionary 😂
I’m going to move stuff from my bedroom end table (which has inevitably become a junk drawer that I have to sift thru) into a house purse. I think this will actually be life changing lol as an adhd’er who is constantly misplacing stuff or piling it in drawers or random places.
This makes a lot of sense. I have a scribbles that matter pouch that I use for all of my planning stuff. But now I’ll just throw my extra stuff in there and call it a day!
I've done this for years omg. I didn't know it was a thing. I take my water bottle, lipbalm, kindle, iPad, Nintendo switch etc. And if I got a new package 😂
I laughed when I saw the title 🤣 I'm definitely not a kindle girl, but I do have a house purse HAHAHA. I literaly sleep with my house purse near me (and water bottle). People get weirded out when I come out in the morning, they ask me "Where are you going?"
Although i see the value in this if your daily purse is on the larger side, I tend to take my normal purse from room to room when lounging because it contains things like: lip balm, my kindle, hand cream, charger/powerbank, wallet, earbuds, etc. That and my water bottle (and maybe my laptop bag) and i'm set.
I only used something like this while I was using a cane for a few years... I only had 1 hand free, as the other was always occupied with my mobility. I used an old baby sling as an extra hand. I liked it better than a purse. It had more room, felt more natural, was adjustable and could carry bigger things if I needed it to.
I think this idea is ridiculous in general but I get why some would need it. I appreciate your video. You were informative, non judgmental and very precise in providing information to both people who dont get it and those who do get it. :)
Wow I thought I was only one but to be honest I have a laundry purse I lived on 4th floor of apartment and I used a small purse for keys and phone my quarters for washer and dryer and soap pods . So ya came in very handy 😮
I sure did walk those steps for 10 years actually. I have recently moved to one level cuz arthritis in my hips. So this video made me think of my laundry purse that was really handy for me. 😊❤
I began to carry a red backpack with all my stuff last year but I never thought this crazy idea of mine already existed. Is nice to know I'm not that crazy for having a backpack filled with random things 😅.
I feel like I invented this idea. I'm disabled with a leg injury. When I visit family with stairs in their homes, I put everything I will need for the day in a tote-type bag, so I only have to go up/down the steps once a day.
This is a great idea! When I do laundry I have to go outside to get into the basement and I have to take quite a few things with me as I stay down there the whole time to keep an eye on the washing machine (it's fussy and we can't afford to repair it) A house purse would be so handy!
My kid carried a backpack all through school. Over the years it became heavier and heavier. When she graduated from college we assumed that was the end of it. No. She bought a gigantic shoulder bag that she carries with her constantly instead. 😂
I have a bunch of these things in a drawer in my living room. Which means I always sit in the same spot and am less likely to hang out in the den with my kids or even just on a different seat in the living room so I love the idea of having all my little things and being able to grab them all and move them with me.
@@AngieLiTV it is my cozy (which I love) but I found a little canvas tote and am trying to switch it up. It’s nice to be able to grab my little tote and know I have my lip balm and hand cream and kindle and journal. 😊
I have a small bag that I take to the gym with me. It has my kindle, page turners, keys, and hair ties 😅 this is just next level because I do move around my house a lot and want all of my things with me. I also have a Bogg bag next to my bed with all of my stuffs that I like to rotate through each night.
I've just come off a knee walker that takes 2 hands. I've been using a plastic basket with handles, similar to grocery store handbaskets, I tied a ribbon to my basket and dragged it around behind me. Tricked it out with a hanging tray for tiny things and a plastic-coated wire to hold up my drink.
I just found out today that there's a name for it. I don't have a Kindle but I do read from my iPad mini and have been carrying it with my house purse for almost 2 years now. I also carry my journal and my journaling stuff in there as well because I journal almost everyday. I use a handbag organizer pouch that comes with little handles as my house purse. I find it very convenient because I can just put it in my tote bag if I want to take it to travel or anywhere.
I've been thinking about this for weeks and thought I was going insane 😂My "around the house" water bottle has a silicone top handle (like a hydroflask) so I always attach my airpods and a lip balm to it using carabiners and carry that + phone to every room I go. My bf told me once "if you keep adding things to that thing you're going to need a backpack" and I thought "Well, not a backpack, but maybe a purse??? 👀" AND IT MAKES SENSE NOW
This is a trend ?!! 😂😂😂. My grandma did it and I've done it for decades now. Great video. Mine has my journals and planners and kindle and pens etc. if anyone here hasn't done this yet I highly recommend too. ❤
I get it! Purses can get dirty when you’re out & about in public places (especially restaurants, hospitals or gym lockers) you don’t want to put that on your furniture especially your bed, but you want to have somethings with you, so you might have a small purse or tote bag for your essentials.
I didn’t know this was a trend! lol i literally have one because I hate carrying everything and risk something faking off and I just go to the backyard with it or the kitchen and I don’t have to go back every time I forget something 🤣
Id absolutely try this because im always going up and down the steps forgetting stuff in different rooms or spilling things when i have so much in my hands.
I recently went to Turkey to buy an empreinte multi pochette. They showed me a pack of *hotdups* and it looked exactly like this. The texture was no different, the color and appearance was the same, I think I will enjoy buying here in the future.
I really love your taste and style always so chic. 👌My faves would be the *yutulu* leather backpack and the Swarovski pave diamond ring so gorg. 💓Thank you for your recommendations.
Agree with all the comments, I have a tote bag with all my bits I use throughout the day, head phones, water, tissues, book, or kindle, iPad etc. very convenient.
I think this trend has been around forever. My grandmothers had bags of their knitting/crochet/books that would move around their houses depending on where they were. I need.i do have a box of Kleenex on one end table but I could put one of the small packs in there for when I st in another spot.
While I'm not really a *gtdupe* person, this video was super interesting and informative! Thanks for sharing!
This feels like an adhd hack
an ADHD hack is a hack for everyone
Most definitely omg
@@AngieLiTVlove this bc it’s true 💛
Yup
Yes. Makes it easy to move my comfort pile around.
I have a “couch bag” for my journaling stuff, but I’m totally going to add a lip balm and a few bits and pieces to it now so it can be my house purse 👜
*HOTDUPS* Bolsa réplica 1:1 con imagen reflejada, resistente y resistente al desgaste. Me gusta mucho.
I like this video, I have the same style *hotdups*
My mom still uses so much from flylady including the office in a bag! Just updated a few things over the last 15 years
@@micahmumbles - That’s a great testimony, That she was able to use the same basic tools & principles all these years!
Okay, just because of this comment, my “medicine box” is being renamed Sophia! Lol! Love that!
Right!!! just make sure the planners fit! mine was a little snug
I love how mindful and thoughtful you are when describing trends and really taking the time to see if its right for you!
Omg I've been doing this for years I'm glad it finally has a name 😂😂😂
It has my current crochet project, my book and/or Kindle, my headphones, and just some lotion, chapstick type stuff
My work gave us these tote bags that I wasn't gonna use for anything else so that's what I use for my current "house purse"
you could crochet a housepurse that would be purse-ception
Totes or any bag without zippers is great for this! I also love your ideas to bring joy and make the bag cute but also be frugal.
Hahah I always called this my comfort bag since it has everything I need to be happy❤ and yes I’ve done it since high school in the 00s
BTW, I have Tote Caddies for my Bible Journaling/Studying & Planners, so it only makes sense to have a “House Purse.”
I have a couch tray with all the little things that you would need to just relax and lounge and one outside on my back patio.
I've been doing this for years - has my current crochet project, paperback, kindles, extra cell chargers, ear buds, lotion... I did think it was funny everyone ran out and bought the same courderoy bag. 🤣
Such GREAT comparisons! Allllll soooo lovely! Especially the *yutulu* tote. Their styles are so chic, sleek, elegant and understated! 😍
I do this with a tote. Really helpful especially if you like making art
what kind of art are you making?!
I have this purse organizer that I don't use and would consider making that the bag so I can pop it in. Good idea!
Ohhhhhh. Best idea ever. I have multiple devices and notebooks so this will be such a good idea for me.
I’m old fashioned. I use baskets quite often. On occasion I use little bags if there are a lot of small pieces that aren’t suitable for baskets.
You can never have too many purses around the house 😂
Omg just as I thought!!!!! Yes, it's the truth: I can't have enough pouches/bags😂😂😂😂😂

I have a house tote. My phone, allergy medicine kit, nail polish kit, lotions, tech kit, tool pouch, and water bottle
I never thought about this but I love it! I have my room downstairs and my office upstairs and tend to carry tons back and forth
I could just have one house bag, but it can get heavy…
,
Just now hearing about this after years of dragging my backpack everywhere with me, even in the house.
That’s so cute 😊 I rlly wanna do this because I have a lot of symptoms for ADHD but I’m scared my family will make fun of me 😭😭
I hand-sew, so I carry around a work basket. It sort of a Pennsylvania Dutch thing, taught to me by my grandmother!
Girl. That *yutulu* bag, you look amazing with it!! I love it!
Not me having a house purse in a 2 bedroom apartment 😂 it’s actually like a little plastic caddy in the shape of a purse. I love using it!
i’ve been doing this for a while but i just put everything in one of my book sleeves! i should get a lil pouch/purse cause i love carrying all my stuff around the house 😭
😊 Thanks!
Candles burning affect my eyes also. I thought it was just me‼️ your channel was suggested to me by YT , good for me😎
I’ve had something like this for years.
This could be revolutionary 😂
yes like a cozy bin !!!
I was thinking about adding my puzzle/crossword booklet. I got a fun one from dollar tree and they are soo fun
@@AngieLiTV ooo that would be so cool!!!
You convinced me in the first 2min😂 I clearly need a house purse for my single level 1,000sqft home.
come to the dark side. where its nice and cozy and practical and fun
That and my water bottle (and maybe my laptop bag) and i'm set.
this is a good point!!! I dont tend to bring my laptop upstairs but if I did this is a solid idea!
I didn't know this was a trend. I had a "house purse" after my first baby. Was super handy❤
So ya came in very handy
😮
oh girl you need a back pack hahahah are you walking those 4 floors?
I sure did walk those steps for 10 years actually. I have recently moved to one level cuz arthritis in my hips. So this video made me think of my laundry purse that was really handy for me. 😊❤
I began to carry a red backpack with all my stuff last year but I never thought this crazy idea of mine already existed.
Is nice to know I'm not that crazy for having a backpack filled with random things 😅.
I think I have a modest size house! its just likely the stairs we have that make the biggest difference. but totally fair point!
I feel like I invented this idea. I'm disabled with a leg injury. When I visit family with stairs in their homes, I put everything I will need for the day in a tote-type bag, so I only have to go up/down the steps once a day.
I have a whole rolling cart for this 😂
This is a great idea!
When I do laundry I have to go outside to get into the basement and I have to take quite a few things with me as I stay down there the whole time to keep an eye on the washing machine (it's fussy and we can't afford to repair it)
A house purse would be so handy!
My kid carried a backpack all through school. Over the years it became heavier and heavier. When she graduated from college we assumed that was the end of it.
No. She bought a gigantic shoulder bag that she carries with her constantly instead. 😂
Not a trend but way of life
^ THIS
Queen Elizabeth had a house purse😂
all hail the queen!
@@AngieLiTVShe's dead unfortunately
I've used a bed purse and also a living room purse for years.....had no idea it was a trend 🤣
I have a bunch of these things in a drawer in my living room. Which means I always sit in the same spot and am less likely to hang out in the den with my kids or even just on a different seat in the living room so I love the idea of having all my little things and being able to grab them all and move them with me.
if thats your cozy spot no need to change it up!
Great idea! You could add some cute patches to the black bag you already have. 😊
👀" AND IT MAKES SENSE NOW
HA!!! then after the purse we have our HOUSE LUGGAGE
@@AngieLiTV lol ABSOLUTELY!
The *yutulu* would be super cute during the fall with a nude or tan or even tonal outfit! i’m thinking a tan wool coat with that bag!!
I work from home and definitely use a home purse
This is a trend ?!! 😂😂😂. My grandma did it and I've done it for decades now. Great video. Mine has my journals and planners and kindle and pens etc. if anyone here hasn't done this yet I highly recommend too. ❤
I've officially added my worksearch booklet and some highlighters. I'm a grandma now
@@AngieLiTV me too and proud of it. 🤣🤣
Oh my gosh! I have that bag!! A friend bought it for me years ago. Super cute. Might have to turn it into my house purse!
HEY *yutulu*!! I have been watching you for years and im so proud of where you have made it! I love you so much! Also thanks for making my day
Agree with all the comments, I have a tote bag with all my bits I use throughout the day, head phones, water, tissues, book, or kindle, iPad etc. very convenient.
Omg yesss I’ve been seeing this on my kindle group on fb!! I got one before I saw the trend but it only fits my kindle n page turner boo
