- Here is a look at my 2014 Nissan Rogue SUV camper. Nothing is permanent and I spent almost 2 months driving and suv camping across Canada. I created what I thought would work best for me and my roadtrip and style of camping while making my way across the country.
I will say the rooftop storage was perfect and kep my out gear (life jackets etc...) away but easily accessible.
I will be heading to Mexico this week and once I get back next summer I will be driving across Canada as soon as I get back with this exact setup.
Let me know if you have an questions.
best vid ever
thanks...not sure if you're joking. Lol

Hey Adrienne :) Yay!!! Welcome to SUV camper life! I'm setting up my Rogue tomorrow(Sunday) so I will take a video and some photos and post them on here! :)

What did you use for heat at night ?
I only had 4, maybe 5 below zero nights. I used 1 really thick queen comforter folded in half and 2 thinner blankets on top of that. Next time I will bring a winter sleeping bag that zips open like a blanket. I do not like sleeping in a sleeping bag but there are a ton of sleeping bags that open fully. The coldest it got was -2C I think it may have gotten down to -4 in the mountains over night but I didn't get up to check, too cold. Lol
Where do you park when sleeping in the car? Do you have get permission at places?
I park in public places so no permission is needed. But I only park in places, streets that I feel are safe and never downtown or near downtown areas.
