True, in this particular setup the cerulean rings are about 5% better than the Paua base. At that point the other stats are probably going to be more important. Basically it's whatever you can get your hands on.
My group is wanting to run 5-ways next league. Is this better option to have than traditional aurabot as i will be resetter and in charge of having auras to keep carrys safe? Love the videos!
What would you replace instead of Grand spectrum bcs it does not give 30 mana per grand spectrum. and Cluster jewels are new meta so it costs a lot. I want to do aurabot like this cheap version
Support builds are NOT for evereybody... because of the price? nope because u don't kill things and for simulacrum runs for an exemple i can literaly afk the entire thing
Quick question, on that quest u said 10% quality on like enlighten and stuff brings extra xp for the gem, but on the chest i can see that blue sockets grant 25% inc. xp, so wouldnt it be more effective to use the blue ones over the green even for the enlighten empower enhance gems? oh i got it, 10% quality is equal to 50% xp , thanks :D
Hey Snap. Thanks a ton for this guide (and this entire series!) Very helpful for our group. A bit confused about the mana guardians role during the leveling process. So i assume I level with w/e meta skill we have. What happens after A10 though? While the carry and supports play in a group and gear themselves, do you go off and solo to 90? or do you follow them around for the quant bonus and just leech till you hit 90? We aren't clear if the carry would struggle with the dead weight of a fourth char basically. Thanks!
He should be helping boost the campaign with a strong meta leveling build. When you hit maps, he should split into his own quadrant of the atlas and only push that quadrant of maps up as high as he can. Portal in your atlas host for completion while doing this. Then look to respec around level 90 ish as you are approaching high-tier red maps and everybody starts grouping.
Hey would you mind looking over this POB and giving some input on a mana guardian I put together? I'm just playing with a MF necro minion build and no other supports or anything hence why I need all these auras, I'd been playing without ci and just getting capped chaos res and more life but I think this way to go ci and squeeze out more mana is definitely worth it. I know the corrupted jewels could be hard to get early on, but basically just need 4/9 jewels needs the mana res corruption and I could even use some other random jewels in the meantime. I got inspired to swap some things after watching your video and realizing my guardian didn't have nearly enough mana and going to work on changing my current character soon and quite possibly run this same setup next league. Also Ideally I could potentially fit in an animate guardian with kingmaker for the fortify effect or even the necro use it since they have so much minion defense and then I don't need vigil or vigilant strike. Any input would be really appreciated especially since I know you generally don't run a mana guardian without any other supports. pastebin.com/EnPqjdTW
the pob looks pretty fine for a defensively oriented support. This looks like something you would want to build in HC. To me, I see no reason not to go scion and squeeze out as many auras as possible in softcore. I think you'll get a much more balanced mix of offense and defense if the only support is a scion. I also highly recommend not using an animate guardian. In our experience, they die way too frequently in hectic beyond maps to be worth using. Vigilant strike isn't that hard to use anyways since it has a 30-40s duration.
@@snapow thanks for the reply, yeah I figured the only way AG would be worth it is for the necro since he would have so much minion life but kingmaker is a bit expensive to end up losing to a random death especially since like you said vigilant strike is easy to keep up. I may end up going scion instead for the rest of this league to try to compare the 2 as I'm sure scion is better, just does feel nice to have the tankiness of the mana guardian mostly to avoid random one shots and is nice when distracted or playing when tired. I think I'll make a scion over the weekend and try it instead. Normally I'm just doing solo mf ts builds but got a friend who wants to do stuff like this but loving the playstyle of minions and it's feeling pretty nice but we are both learning how to improve this more.
hey snap, love you guides. Leveling a guardian atm, but keep hearing rumors about them being a bad choice now? Is this guide still doable for Heist league? I play in a group of 3, so I thought Mana guardian might be the best option along side a aurabot. Feel free to set me straight!
I remember WAY BACK, when inspiration was reduced mana, and it not only worked on active skills, but also on auras. Now the only support gem to reduce mana reservation is enlighten. I'd like to have another option for reduced mana reservation support gem, but putting a downside on the auras with it too, like a reduced effect of the aura. Reducing the AoE would do nothing but hurt those few people who play with others.
Could you help me understand the role this plays in the group? I am playing you scion support and my friend is playing mf ranger, we have a 3rd friend and figured it would be good for him to go mana guardian based on your other videos recommendation but I am not really sure how it works. I feel like I am missing something. What are they offering outside of my aurabot and how do they provide more ES to others if I am running disc?

It will give loads of es regardless if you are running disc or not
