appreciate the kind words! currently working on a couple videos but due to the short days in winter, things are taking longer than i would hope, ive got more on the way though for sure
Truck is looking better! Most lenses have this issue, they aren't molded all exactly as they should, sometimes you need to shave down some of the edges so they fit better, you can also try to make your own gasket since your old ones are bad this will also help with the condensation/leaks. Good job buddy
unfortunately the shaving down won't fix my issue as theyre too small not too large, ive thought about the new gasket thing but im going to try the lens and housing combo first.
appreciate the kind words! the headlights after using them more have honestly been a bit finnicky with alignment but theyre still definitely a huge improvement over halogens
@@Blue_B2200 is there link to them? I've been looking all over for led headlights for mine. There are so many choices so having you demo these was really helpful
Good job young man. Any plans on adding a/c to your truck? Also you can take plumbers putty and roll it out thin and use that as a gasket on your corner lights, I did this on my 89 b2600 and it works great
no plans on a/c as of now but its definitely not out of the question for sure, just depends how miserable i am this next summer as ive only been dailying my truck since basically the end of summer
nope, sanding would likely cause worse hazing, only time i would reccomend sanding them is a 1500+ grit wet sand and polish if you had clears that were already yellowed
Unfortunately, here in texas, that red bulb would get me pulled over in about 45 seconds. But, my question is, did you have to install a ballast for the led headlights?
nope no ballast, just plug and play! also it should be perfectly legal throughout the US as a number of production cars use clear lenses with red bulbs (lexus rx330 for example)
@Blue_B2200 That's awesome. Texas state inspectors don't allow red bulbs unless they came stock. Unless you know a cool inspector that'll pass anything for a case of modelo beer. Haha. But texas is doing away with vehicle inspection after this year anyway. Thanks for the answer.
@Blue_B2200 here in S. Florida you gotta have some sort of red reflector otherwise it's a ticket. Ask me how I know. 😆 Led red bulbs look way better than the pait, plus the bulbs won't get as hot and shorter the life of them. Find a older Toyota 4 runner chrome front end and your truck will break some necks. 😉
@mrdee423 i ended up swapping to led bulbs at a later date but didnt have any on hand at the time, definitely look a lot better and the painted ones faded over time
if you didnt like the color or brightness of the bulbs for the ones that not your headlights auxito has some really good and bright colored leds for like 6 to 8 a bulb
Thank you for making this video. It is one of my projects i got planned for my b2200. i got strobing led bulbs for mine do you think some clear silicone might seal up the open gap? i might try that if i experience that which i probably might i got my clear lens set off of ebay. your truck looks really sweet
clear silicone may not be a bad idea, theres a weird lip on the inside of the clear corners that you could probably put it on and at least make it less bad
its pretty good, it took me a bit to get them properly aligned as they kind of had two bright spots but theyre good, initially because i had them misaligned i had people flashing their brights at me though
yes it is possible, i believe the only difference is there is a vacuum line you must keep on the automatic as it goes to the shifting solenoid, other than that it should be the same process as on a manual
The problem was the head lights them selves. They had bad reflector design. If you could have original head lights with LED bulbs you could see a huge diference.
can you start kissing your hand and get really close to the camera
This video changed my life for the better good. I am a better man now, thank you for the video
Keep doing what your doing man, this channel is going to grow so much

What a great video! Thank you so much for the demonstration. I want those headlights.

there are links in the video description, for the headlights you just need the headlight housings and h4 led bulbs
I had to put some weatherstripping on the front markers to get them to seal

Hi
Just wondering if you sand it all the lenses before applying the clear coat.
nope, sanding would likely cause worse hazing, only time i would reccomend sanding them is a 1500+ grit wet sand and polish if you had clears that were already yellowed

@Blue2200 With B2200's computer being deleted, do you happen to know if this vehicle can withstand an EMP?
i dont think so, pretty sure the ignition system would stop functioning since it has electronic ignition with a coil and electronic distributor
Good day sir. What is the size of your tire and rim. I have b2200 also. And amize your looks of your tire.
215/60/r15 tire on a 15x8 wheel
How is the beam pattern of the LED H4s in those housings?
its pretty good, it took me a bit to get them properly aligned as they kind of had two bright spots but theyre good, initially because i had them misaligned i had people flashing their brights at me though
Excuseme amigo, I have a question ❓ can to be possible install a Weber carburetor in a automatic Mazda b2200 car
yes it is possible, i believe the only difference is there is a vacuum line you must keep on the automatic as it goes to the shifting solenoid, other than that it should be the same process as on a manual
