Hello and thank you for watching part 10 of our restoration of the 1980 Suzuki FZ50. I little bit of a set back in this video, please see why. Take Care, Jeff & Jenny
Thanks Gran Dad, it put me behind a bit having to do the old tank, but I am pleased it matched OK. In the video it looks a bit different under the lights, but I it's not bad. Take care, Jeff
Thanks Ted, the Chaly, is an interesting bike. The Petrol tank has put me back a bit, but hopefully I can get next Saturdays video done on Wednesday when the wife is at work. Take care, Jeff
Thanks Allan, time is my enemy at the moment. I'm working on the handlebars at the moment, trying to get a video done for Saturday. I'm off Wednesday and the wife is working, that will be my chance. Take care, Jeff
Great video Jeff so helpful again another great thing is i will always have your videos to go back to for help when i need it like i already said someone is going to get a really great bike thanks again and take care.
Thank you Tony, the Petrol tank has put me back a bit, as it was a shame to have to go back to the original one. Trying to find time for the next video. Take care, Jeff
Thank you Phil, the fuel tank has but me back a bit, but it's slowly getting there. Time is my enemy at the moment. Jenny says hello. x Take care, Jeff
I think this is my favourite of all the bikes you've done Jeff, I had to laugh when Jenny walks right over your work !! My little cavalier king charles ( Bob ) is 100% house trained and wouldn't dream of peeing indoors , but for some reason if I'm in the shed working on a bike he'll come in and cock a leg on the wheel !! I think he associates it with just being out of the house so outdoors in his mind !!!
Thanks Mike, just can be quite naughty. Sometimes I think she comes in the shed to see me then just quietly goes out. I then find a chewed screw driver on the grass. I'm glad I'm not the only one with dog problems. Take care, Jeff
A Honda Express is a difficult restoration as the clockwork starter is troublesome and they have an unreliable carb which is unique due to the space restrictions, I know as I have done two of them!@@DiecastPowderCoating
Hi and thanks for watching. I got different parts and the stickers from a nice chap on eBay called, Camimadi70. I bought the bike off of him and he helped with some parts. The FZ50 is a lovely bike, but unfortunately I had a shed fire last June and lost it in that just after I restored it. Take care, Jeff
Looking great Jeff and brilliant job on the tank 👍

Typical that the new tank was missing brackets, that sort of thing happens to me all the time lol
Hi Martin, didn't really thing to check the brackets. Although I should have noticed it before. It did put me behind a bit.
Take care, Jeff
