This is an amazing video. It makes perfect sense in a Zen or Matrix sort of way. Imagine one day, looking around you and seeing that everyone is walking backwards for no apparent reason. Then, with that new found awareness, that giants walk among you. You want to walk forward, but the pull to walk backwards is almost more than you can handle. So you push harder and harder to walk forward. Eventually you can maintain it, then it gets easier, you get faster, you go faster forward than they are moving backward. You speed up until the point where you see the wall and break through the wall. On the other side you find yourself walking among the giants. A little girl looks up and realizes what happened and takes her first step forward.

I love this song because I heard it in clubs as well as in movies, so it's in some of my playlists. However, today I got here because I looked up the director of 30 Days of Night - the cinematography was so good, I wanted to see who was in charge (aside from the cinematographer himself of course). you got the fundamentals of it: the people moving forward are people in leadership positions, call them how ever you want: bosses, goverment, politiians... what ever, they watch the ordinary people degenerating(moving backward) the main character starts to realise that and tries to make a change: he starts moving forward, but it is really hard for him, but the longer he continues the stronger he gets, and the easiert it is for im. even so he trips and falls he doesnt give up and in the end he is reaching the limits the leaders gave the people (the wall) and he breakes through. In the end of the video he turned into a leader himself, and the black girl which sees him first starts moving forward all by her self and it is easier for her because he inspired her. long story short: if you see something is going wrong, change it, no matter how hard it will ne, because it will make you stronger and inspire other people to make a change also

The hat is for disguise, but if you take pictures when the man with the hat stares at the camera, he has the same ear and also the same hair near the ear as the man withou the hat. I was actually geeked because since the day I heard it from the matrix i had downloaded it to a cd and it was something i always worked out too for basketball/football season . This is an amazing video. It makes perfect sense in a Zen or Matrix sort of way. Imagine one day, looking around you and seeing that everyone is walking backwards for no apparent reason. Then, with that new found awareness, that giants walk among you. You want to walk forward, but the pull to walk backwards is almost more than you can handle. So you push harder and harder to walk forward. Eventually you can maintain it, then it gets easier, you get faster, you go faster forward than they are moving backward. You speed up until the point where you see the wall and break through the wall. On the other side you find yourself walking among the giants. A little girl looks up and realizes what happened and takes her first step forward.

This video is the most profound and fantastic thing I have ever encountered in my life, if we are talking about art. Take my word for it, because I have read several hundred books and watched several hundred movies. The amount of symbolism, allegory, references to spirituality and religion just amazes me. And do you know who wrote the screenplay? Rob Dougan himself! The guy is a real genius! Not only did he create this musical masterpiece, but he also wrote the whole story for the video and starred in it.

It represents life according to predetermined patterns, mechanical reactions/behaviors, the old way of thinking that causes misery and further propaganda. It also does not pertain to those serving the system, but also to rebels and great men. Additionally, does headgear symbolize mind control? Great men wear hats too. They have experienced a false awakening - they have not developed spiritually themselves. They are still slaves, but they have control over the weak people. Our hero became the first great man whose philosophy was based on anti-system values. Specifically, on fighting the system by ignoring it in every way and focusing on himself. This set him free.
You may wonder why the propaganda slogans (0:00, 0:31, 0:51, 1:19, 1:51 on the ground) are written in an Asian language (Japanese/Chinese - sorry, I don't know them)? Asian people are famous as the ones most obedient to authority. They are afraid to oppose because those in power are known for their extreme brutality. They are also very hardworking - they see no other way to live.
PS. If anyone wants to translate these propaganda slogans - write in the comments. I will consider you as the one of the authors of this study.

Hi Duch, nice one! Also, the 2 men fighting are actually the same person. The hat is for disguise, but if you take pictures when the man with the hat stares at the camera, he has the same ear and also the same hair near the ear as the man withou the hat. He is a prisioner of himself and of the system (as some parts of the fight is backwarded).

I was actually geeked because since the day I heard it from the matrix i had downloaded it to a cd and it was something i always worked out too for basketball/football season . Got an A on that paper btw . Awesome awesome instrumental and video. This was always one of the very few tracks I listened to that really helped me dig deep when it came to training and working out for sports

Not really it shows the man trying to go against the system which he realizes is corrupted look at this time 0:29 - 0:50 it clearly shows him realizing how bad everything is an at 0:50 he decided to put and end to it and start fighting it but in the begging it's to much and it pushes him back but he goes on anyway fighting system harder and harder up until this moment 2:50 when he breaks through the wall aka the system and is noticed by the women and child,2:11 in this moment he realizes it was not all in vain look at how the girl looks at him she got inspired to fight as well, because all it takes is one follower to start something big and world changing.
