A Drawing Down of Blinds and Clubbed to Death are my favorites. But I have several others in my playlists. The instrumental versions. His compositions minus the lyrics are transcendent.
Clubbed to death is hands down the best music score for any movie period, pity he doesn't make music anymore, maybe waiting for a movie that like what matrix did
Rob is immensly talented, his compositions thrive on classical music style. If he did more dance or triphop tracks, he probably would be recognized more for his talent. Clubbed To Death and Furious Angels are just two excellent tracks on a already great album. He has some big EPs, but he should try to do another studio album!
Привет, на оффициальной странице Роба в youtube, есть данная композиция, Роб опубликовал ее года 4 назад. Данное интервью было записано примерно лет 15 назад. Роб замечательный человек.
Multas per gentes et multa per aequora vectus advenio has miseras, frater, ad inferias, ut te postremo donarem munere mortis et mutam nequiquam adloquerer cinerem, quandoquidem fortuna mihi tete abstulit ipsum, heu miser indigne frater adempte mihi. nunc tamen interea haec, prisco quae more parentum tradita sunt tristi munere ad inferias, accipe fraterno multum manantia fletu atque in perpetuum, frater, ave atque vale - Catullus Trump on trial ~ Latino RT rump
Ok I can barely hear what he is saying because of the damned music (totally unnecessary) but the jist I pick up is Rob wanted to bring orchestral elements more into the consciousness of the masses. Orchestra was already there since film + audio began but most never appreciated it unless it involved fighting or action vs subtlety or nuance.
Clubbed to Death is a masterpiece.
Now that's an understatement 🙄
@@Zibit21 True that

I agree.
Still coming back to these melodies 20 years later; Rob succeeded gorgeously in regards to that final anecdote.
7:13 More than 20 years later. He did good 👌
After all of these years, the amazing album that is 'Furious Angels' is still in regular rotation! Pure brilliance.
It has been more then 20 years now and this album is still my favourite album of all time. I don't think this will ever change.
Furious Angels is certainly in the running for my favorite album of all time.

So glad I discovered him. ✨❤️
This guy is incredibly talented (and quite attractive as well). I wish he would put out more albums!
@@ryokodeivisu very happy to hear that!
@@ryokodeivisu when do you think it will be released?
Rob likes to keep a low profile, compared to other musicians.
Same, have you heard his "Trilogy" EP collection?
I love this interview. Thank you. I wish there were more interviews with rob.

He has always released music, it’s just the underground scene. I will always be a fan of Rob Dougan!
