Today we are reviewing another watch from Merkur watch group that has a wide selection of brands and models under their umbrella.
Made in china with their own and third party movements, Merkur offers a huge selection of watches from military inspired like the Seizenn W10 World War II model we I revieed, to Homages to popular Seiko and other brands.
This latest model under their Pierre Paulin brand features a jump hour complication and is quite frankly really well made and finished!
Powered with a modified Seagull ST17 and costing just $129 makes it a bargain.

man my jaw hit the floor when you said the price, I thought we were looking at a luxury time piece up until then
"...after my brain remembers it is not a regular watch." - Exactly. That is the beauty of it. I got it in Salmon and my local AD immediately commented on its beauty and was shocked at the price for such a beautiful dial and unique complication.
May I ask where you got yours from? I’ve been looking to buy one but some sellers seem fishy.
The green dial looks really pretty
Lovely looking watch. I can't decide which dial colour I like the most.
"Drop dead gorgeous" ... you got that right!
I'm floored by this one. Although I'm not a "dress watch" type of person, I'd jump on this one at THAT price (pun intended) 😄👍🏼
Thanks for the nice discovery (for me at least).
By the way, I just noticed that you're already creeping up on 130K subs! It seems only yesterday you were celebrating 100K Subs! 💪🏼😎👍🏼
Hope you have continued success.
I have the salmon dial version of this watch and like the uniqueness of it. It’s not a really accurate watch, but at that price point I wouldn’t complain much. It’s a different and nice looking watch.
Imagine if this was a chronograph but with an extra hole for jumping minutes and the usual minute & hour hands to record elapsed time controlled by a separate pusher. Make it flyback as well and you'd have literally the best chronograph in the world... at any price!
Like!
I have a feeling it would be at least 20mm thick 🥴
@@Wild_Danimal A few chronographs have all those features. The difference is the layout above the dial not the mechanism under it.
Really good concept. Only one thing I’d say is if you wear glasses for reading it would be hard to read the hour in that small box. But I guess it needs to be small to take less power to move it? Nice watch and a good price. 👍🇬🇧
Hey i want to know i can't find the same movement anywhere with the jump hour feature do you know where can I buy it ?
Waiting for the salmon dial 38mm to arrive!
how long did it took to arrive ?
@@lwoui about 2 weeks to USA
@@HoroHigh369 thanks, did you order on the merkur website or the aliexpress store ?
Last question : did they took long before sending it ?
I just ordered mine and I’m so excited to finally get it. How many times do you need to turn the crown a day to keep it running properly? Thanks for a great review 🙏
did you order on merkur's site or aliexpres ?
2:32 you got a text
My new rule is: when I see a new channel review this watch I sub. Every time I know the reviews will be 🔥
You narrated the specs as good as a novelist, liked you way more than a watch.
they do have a 3 hander mate
Great video
What is your wrist size mate?
