Great review Mark, I've got an Exclusive on order due in mid August. This is a town tool and a very good one, although it can handle the motorway if required.
I picked mine up (automatic) a couple of weeks ago and I absolutely love it. I've driven many cars of all sizes and this is the best drive yet. I live in the foothills of an Andalusian mountain range and it's fine going up a gradient. It's very smooth and the engine is so quiet.
The Aygo X will be safer than the Sandero. I love the Aygo X, a small car that’s actually been designed to make the driver feel like they are having a good time.
It can cope with motorway speeds but that.s not what its designed for ,fun around towns and country lanes and if you get the canvas roof version even better !.
Aygo to the motoring thesaurus .... it does look a bit more beefed up! Great review. When you were at Honest John you did a cracking review of the Mk3 Jazz. Are you going to do one of the Mk4 hybrid for the Vanarama Era?
Well if that intro wasn’t a dad joke, I don’t know what is. 😂 I’m not sure what I think about it, to me it’s one of those, yeah it’s ok but, cars Great video buddy!
Hey, you do some of the best reviews on the internet! People do say it....like me. Nice little car, for kids, but if you're grown up, you should indeed take a serious look at the Sandero Stepway instead.
"The worlds smallest crossover" is exactly the same length as the Suzuki Ignis, a small crossover/SUV type thing which has been around for 6 years. Getting a bit tired of all these reviewers/motoring journalists claiming (like Toyota admittedly) the Aygo X is a new type of car. Do any of them actually know what they are talking about?.
@@vanaramauk This is true but irrelevant as the statement was about the size, not how modern it looks. Actually, since you say 'worlds' smallest crossover, it is also worth pointing out that there have been much smaller (Kei car, so up to 3.4m x 1.48m) crossovers available in the JDM market for decades.
Hope it would do 50mpg doesn't have any power!! 😂 My Citigo I had few years back now, was 1.0 75 that managed easily 50, most times was in the 60s, best I got was 84 mpg, was a very good little car!! This seems expensive for what it is, would take a picanto or an up!!
Agree - Toyota hasn't been innovative on this one. Also, it may be aimed at the youf market but suspect older/elderly people will also buy it since they can get in and out more easily.
I’d of preferred if they had ditched this and have the IQ back - that was a fun car for all the same reasons but less aygoee - If it’s a posher cross does that make aygopoo think of the fun you could have with that comment :)
At least it’s not a £40k EV with a range of 125 miles. Thanks Toyota!

going for a test drive on the Aygo X next month and impressed with all the reviews and hope very much to purchase this car? .

Good review getting back to your best quality
I actually really like it. And i'm a long way from a first time buyer.
I can only drive automatic cars, I can say for definite the CVT gearbox is an improvement from the other one.
Peter Crouch's dungarees . Pure gold.
What's the sound system in the pure?
Thanks
wow, it’s eons I don’t hear “21 seconds”! So Solid Crew, WOW!
Bulletproof - well done Toyota we don’t want shitty money pit EV’s
What price

That heap of junk is no fun on country lanes it feels like it about to topple over all the time.
Can you do a review on the Stepway please Mark.

Peter Crouch's breeks being referenced in a car review. WTAF! Pure comedy.

The Sandero Stepway a great car ........ for Old People with little sense of fun driving .
so what you're saying is, take a written off GR Yaris' engine and shove it in this, add a set of lowering springs and give the Fiesta a bloody nose?
Why is the car blue but the one driving is teal?
the critic mentioned that the Toyota x is not a drivers car
. I have
not seen on the roads any so called drivers he mentioned.

I hear what you’re saying but the Aygo X looks and feels far more like a modern crossover SUV than the Ignis does.

Eco driver managed 74mpg driving normally around Innsbruck ,
Suzuki Ignis rival

Ahhhhh R.I.P Ariel Burdett
Indeed. 😢 Mark.

The worst pun I’ve ever heard - but please allow me to repeat it at leisure. Thanks.
Alot of £££ for 50mpg. My 9 year old ford ka averages 48mpg and cost £3500 on a 63 plate.....skinny tyres by the looks of it too
Guess how much new skinny tyres cost on the aygo X? £171 each tyre.
