Outcome: The play through where you’ve made the right choices (mended the relationship with your friends, watered Basil’s plants, defending yourself without using the knife on Aubrey, remembering the past, complete the duet with Mari and finally letting go of Omori). However Sunny is still afraid of revealing the truth to his friends, so he decides to end himself, but saved by Aubrey who noticed the subtle changes in his behaviour and figures out what the knife was really was used for.

Not exactly. See, while omori is indeed in control of Sunny in the Bad End, Sunny still exists. He simply gave up, allowing Omori to take control and commit Oyasumi.

That ending just takes away the tragic a little...but still sad, but if this takes place in the bad ending I'm afraid Aubrey came very late Sunny...hes already gone and the only one who is being saved is Omori (presumably taking control of SUNNY's mind and body after win the battle).
And considering his only objective is to hide the truth, Basil wouldn’t be safe if Omori found out he was still alive and still trying to talk about the truth. We’d just have a repeat of Black Space, but this time, there wouldn’t be another Basil to find.

I hate that so many fics just go "Yeah Omori won but suddenly, for no good reason, he immediately gave up on his suicidal rebellion to complete the mission. Now he's all friendly and chummy and wants the best for all". Breaks my suspension of disbelief real quick

He wouldn't be rotting though, if he just jumped. His body would still be pretty intact.
How would Basil feel?
Kinda wish this would happen as a neutral ending for saying "No" to jumping. Someone like Hero or Aubrey comes to see you looking down the rooftop, and, well, the comic dub shows the rest.
This is an excellent ending!
A close shave for sure, but it was nice Aubrey still cared about her friends, despite her tough exterior. :D

Oh god it's so chilling how "Sunny" is blocked out by Omori/Sunny's perception, as Omori has fully taken over Sunny at this point, and he's been locked away.
Nah this needs more angst, I'm recovering from a telenovela so I'm really desensitized.
Something like this: Aubrey arrived but it is already too late, Sunny is no longer exists and only Omori remains in the body of what was her friend before and she does not know it.

Alternate timeline: Sunny explains what he did to Mary and then Idk what happens next but it would definitely be something I’m interested in but sunny will probably persist in attempting suicide after telling her
Basically he trusts Aubrey to let him finish what he started since he trusts that she will hate him once he confess the truth, But maybe that won't happen, I don't know if I'm wrong about this, but knowing how she is, maybe she'll give him a beating for...well...for everything and mainly for his attempt at an "easy way out" but ¿hate him? Hmmm I do not think so.

i'd imagine that "Sunny" would see Aubrey as her Headspace counterpart instead of her real self, since Omori has practically taken control of Sunny's body, and Sunny doesn't properly exist, anymore, so in my eyes, how this scene would actually go is this:
Aubrey climbs up the stairs and sees Sunny near the edge of the balcony, she tries calling him out and trying to stop him, but it's useless, Sunny just sees it as HS Aubrey trying to have fun with him, and he still jumps no matter what.
so i'm my opinion, this scenario is actually *worse* than what happened, since she wouldn't be able to stop Sunny, and she would lose both her Sister Figure, as well as one of her best friends.

Heyy, so I checked twitter, and the author said in this comic Sunny kinda reappeared. Omori's eyes are blurry and Sunny's have more shape. Wait no- not eyes. Eye. There's one now. You can see at 1:14 it kinda took the oval shape and not a bunch of scribbles.
