Wow, so helpful. Have been flat for years and am now experiencing tears everyday ...grieving loved ones who passed, things touching me to tears that would not have happened in the past. I can feel the healing in this. It was great to see Sally tear up at the end, and not be flat. I hadn’t ever heard of being emotionally flat, until your RESET program. It was so great to feel validated and not alone. Did I hear correctly that she has only been ill for under a year? Oh, to have had these tools way back when!

I was blocked and not making progress. I signed up to watch these videos, resisting at first. I related to one woman’s journey but was still in my head. When I started watching Sally and participating in her journey along with her I began to open up. I was able to progress with her and find the reason I was taking out my anger on others. I had been storing it in my body and when I joined a cptsd group I began to act out by criticizing them. I tried to look at myself but I couldn’t get there even with my coach. By going through the same process with you and Sally I broke through the wall of emotions and did the steps you suggested. I am now taking responsibility for my actions and beginning to look within myself. This has been a life long journey for me to reach this point in my recovery. I am going to continue with Sally on this journey. Thank you Alex. Thank you so much. It’s been painful looking at this part of myself I will say.

Great going, Sally! You've done an awesome job, and it is really showing. Alex, I really appreciated your question to Sally regarding where she was in terms of having a feeling of internal safety. That was a very significant point, especially when contrasting to the opposite, where one only feels safe and self-soothed, when there are external factors, such as doing and achieving, or helping and proving. Also, I very much liked the way you future-paced the new, integrated version of Sally, and allowed her to depict what her life will look like going forward, where she has greater touch with her emotional needs, and can respond to them, even in the face of others, by saying no, without having to have the body express symptoms or sickness to assist with creating the exit for her. I am very excited to watch Sally climb higher and higher into a full, lasting recover, and a new, integrated life of her choosing.

Saying "no" to people was so difficult for me pre-CFS, but now that I'm recovering it is so much easier. I didn't feel like I had the right to say no most of my life, but now I can say it without feeling guilty or like I've let people down, etc. I've learned that if someone doesn't like me to say "no", they do not care about me.

The things that you took for granted, now give you JOY! Doing things you love for pleasure gives you more energy. This sounds a great path to recovery. From the sadness and illness to the happiness of being in the healing state is wonderful for Sally. I really enjoyed connecting in with the therapy sessions, and have learnt so much on the way,thank-you.

Well done Sally! So happy for you that you’re at this point. Your words at the end made me cry and i needed to hear them. Thanks for acknowledging those of us who aren’t there yet. Very touching. I love how Alex explained feelings of safety in terms of emotional holding. I did not get that much growing up even though I was physically safe. Love these episodes.

This is a tremendous episode and session! How amazingly inspiring and so well put together and structured! This completely resonates with my recovery journey. Very helpful to have it reinforced that when energy comes, don’t use it on your achiever but to build a new and different way of enjoying life, doing things you enjoy that also nourish to and bring you energy so that more energy begets more more energy, and begins to allow you to build in new patterns and a new relationship towards life. Also loved the future pacing that is something that really lit up my imagination towards my future self. I truly love this episode it’s absolutely wonderful. Amazing Sally you’re a fabulous inspiration and thank you so much Alex and team for this - really truly deeply heartfelt thanks and well done ❤️❤️❤️

Really interesting to see what stage 3 actually looks like, but disappointing to see that I'm nowhere near there yet. Great to see Sally has improved so much, it gives me hope. Thanks to Sally, Alex and the team.

Wow! This is amazing to watch. Well done Sally, all the work you have put in is paying off! I really enjoyed this video, even though I am at a different place right now and have had a really stressful few weeks, it’s so inspirational to see someone who’s journey we’ve all watched experience the improvements in the illness. It made me think of being in a place like that! I know I will one day, but seeing someone else experience it for now is just amazing! Thank you Alex, and thank you Sally for sharing your journey!

So exciting, so happy for you Sally!! Of course, what we all want to know is what it is that you have been doing, apart from the sessions that we see in these episodes, that helped you get there? Are you doing the STOP several times a day, meditation, yoga, other exercises? Not entirely clear to me what the structure/work is that was referred to here, but maybe I´ve just missed it in earlier episodes. Apologies if that´s a silly question and yay again!

How do you say 'no' to your children? That is the single most difficult thing to do more of when you already do it so much x

"..don't want to start piling in too many new things too quickly on top of each other...you do it very carefully, very strategically...danger would be doing too many things at once, too quickly...to be cautious, to be careful...not going into pushing achieving, but also not going into anxiety pattern of omg if I do anything I am going to feel worse and I have to keep everything carefully contained... " I wonder if Alex's programme needs a movement / exercise speciality component to it. I have been reading CFS experts saying NO CARDIO at all until u can function around house with no fatigue. Build up strength and stamina b4 u walk your dog for example. I have cut out all cardio now. If I can't shower without getting tired and needing to lie down, how can I go for a walk ? We have massive issues with cardio movement. see Dr Nancy Klimas' work
