Nice video! I'd like to add that I was not the first one to come up with the window triple jump method in general, I believe that was first TASed by FramePerfection. However that used a butt slide ending which required much more height, making the whole thing just barely possible even with TAS. The main thing I found was that for a small range of angles you can immediately start walking on the spire, requiring much less height and precision and opening up the possibility for reproducable RTA setups.

As of today there have already been 3 new WRs set with carpetless (in the span of a week) by Puncayshun, Karin, and Marlene. Never before has so many 120 WRs been set in such a short time period

i would guess around 5 seconds faster bc the wr rn is like 36 seconds with the new setup but bomb omb could be faster fully optimized bc no one wants to grind old carpetless

One of the narration comments is that carpetless comes at the very end of the game. Is there any feasibility to the idea of doing World 15 prior to the Clock, for the sake of attempting the trick sooner in the run? For that matter, is it feasible to do BLJ early (like the short categories) to reach the top of the castle, do World 15 VERY early, and then exit to the bottom of the castle to clear out MANY earlier Worlds later? Would alternate routing eat up too much time to justify it?
Why does the blindfold guy have to still be looking towards his screen? 🤔 You would think he would have the monitor on the wall behind him and wear headphones to prove he is only going on sound ques and memory.

The idea of using the double glitchy wall kick from the window actually started back in 2009 from blazesoul13. He just didn't get to the roof
