One of the first few things I discovered when I started doing family history was my great great Grandfather’s application for the WWI Victory Medal. He was a Sergeant who was a mechanic stateside during the war so no clasps. Another one of my Great Great Grandfather’s who served in WWI was a Corporal in the 328th INF REG 82nd DIV who fought in and received the clasp for the Meuse-Argonne
My Great Uncle served as an ambulance driver, first as an American Volunteer, then in the US Army. He has 5 clasps on his Victory medal, along with a French Croix de Guerre with bronze start. I'm curious how an ambulance driver got that! We found them in a box with other neat mementos years after his passing.
Is there a way to buy a new WWI Victory Medal with a clasp? All the ones I’ve seen with clasps are old and to buy a new one it just has bronze or silver service stars for attachment options.

Great video sir. Thank you!
I just found my great grandfathers victory medal. Thank you for this! I have goosebumps. Ironically enough, he was Maltese!
That's awesome!

Very interesting. I had no idea about the maltese cross, so thank you.
Thank You Sir
the "staff" is a double headed axe bound in a fascine (bundle of sticks).
better description, thank you.
My father was a recipient of a Bronze Star of WWII. I understand the "V" device, however, does anyone know the meaning of a "Bonze Star" devise?
The Bronze Star is a medal, not a device. If a bronze star was awarded for Valor, then the V device was added to the ribbon drape.

that’s a good question let me look into it. I’ve seen a few of the new ones out but getting all of the clasps is really difficult
