Beautiful. 2nd movement is sublime and makes me feel wholly human.

This is incredible. The cellist is super and so are the violinist and pianist.

A fine performance of one of Beethoven's most exquisite musical pieces! A fine job by excellent artists! The Old Man surely would have been made proud by this performance!

Outstanding performance. I've been listening to the Kempf recording for years, which was my "gold standard" that nobody was able to match, until now. BTW, nothing beats a Steinway.

Sehr klare und saubere Aufführung dieses fein komponierten Klaviertrios mit perfekt synchronisierten und zugleich warmherzigen Töne aller Instrumente. Einfach Klasse!

I a writing this on Dec 16, 2020. Mainly to wish LvB a happy 250th birthday (no agreement on whether it is Dec 16 or 17) but also to thank him for making this awful year a bit more bearable (300,000+ deaths in US alone). Hope 2021 will be a lot better.

Thanks for that, I'm not a musician, nor am I a 'well informed classical music buff' so you'll not see 'technical remarks ' from myself about the performances you show ... but I can say that I do always enjoy your selections :-)

Name sounds like kr eye followed by light throat clearing as if having had a Ricola listened to Tom Schulz introduce HK on zoom. I like the ghost and this performance.

The 2nd part takes us to the Ades, which is the real purpose of music followed by the resurection in the 3rd part.

How does one pronounce the last name of the cellist? Appears to be Dutch.

Very fine playing even if Beethoven is not my cup of tea (I prefer Poulenc or Prokofiev) The fiddle player uses a lot of second position and I guess it makes everything cleaner - less shiftiness. Bravo and thanks!

The cellist obviously suffered from anorexia, so skinny, poor soul.

I was wondering about that too. I'd never seen a performance with Ms Krijgh before, so I didn't know anything about her. When I saw her at first I thought she might be an older woman, especially because red heads don't always go grey so fast, but she was about 27 here. Hopefully she's gotten help by now.

When in doubt, it's usually better to not comment, but you obviously know her.

I think he is good but here he seems like playing with fear...no expression or depth here...a dangerous trend in some young players these days. No risks...no personality in the sound. It's a pity
