Smetana: Piano Trio in G minor, Op. 15 - Harriet Krijgh & Friends - Live Classical Concert HD

Violinist Emmanuel Tjeknavorian, cellist Harriet Krijgh and pianist Magda Amara perform Smetana’s beautiful ‘Piano Trio in G minor’ during the Utrecht International Chamber Music Festival 2018. We all know Smetana from his musical portret ‘Má Vlast’, but his other work also embraces his home country of the Czech Republic. His ‘Piano Trio’ undeniably uses upbeat folk melodies, making it a musical fairytale.

The majority of it is absolutely amazing! However I have one question. Did the violinist come in a bit early around 24:32? It seems like things fell off a bit. But quick recovery from everyone. Great job!

I realized what it is. Its the repeated triplet D's that the violinist is playing. He played one set of triplets too many.
