Oh nice! More people should know that this is now playable in english :) One of my fav old fallout mods not gonna lie I played it twice and it was pleasure especially the dlc special area :D
Well is this a real Christmas present or what? Was really looking forward to your Let's Play series of Sonora, I hope you find enough free time to actually finish the mod, it's rather BIG. Also, Happy New Year and a very Merry Christmas to you and your family ❤Thank you for all of your hard work Quantum, and for helping Mutants Rising come to life, Godspeed and all the best in 2025 🙏
I hope I find the free time too, there are a lot of quests in just the first couple of towns, and this mod seems well crafted with breadcrumbs leading to all the major towns so far, and lots of side quests, and a bunch in Flagstaff that seem to be inter-twined with each other. should be interesting to see how far this mod goes! Thank you for the support! Happy Holidays!
Personally, knowing about this relatively new and solid translation of Fallout Sonora is certainly comforting after playing a rather questionable translation of Fallout Olympus.
yeah, this translation makes a lot of sense most of the time, and the few times it doesn't are minor typos, so I'm duly impressed by Cambragol's translation
Very happy to see this mod finally translated. Played it earlier this year in russian and can't recommend it enough: it's basically Fallout 1.5, the writing is just outstanding (although I'm not really a fan of Garage-city, but the game really pick up after that)
Damn, it's been a long time since you last uploaded a Fallout total conversion mod! 💣 This is the best Christmas gift I've ever received! 🎁 Hopefully, there'll be a part 2 on New Years, maybe? 🤔
was hoping to get part 2 up today, but it takes forever to finish editing these streams :P It'll be out by new years at least. Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays :)
I played this with the English Google Translate patch a couple years ago. Had a blast with both this and Fallout: Nevada. Do you have any interest in going back to Fallout: Yesterday someday? There are still things being added and/or tweaked, but you can finally play the game from start to finish now.
I do want to play Yesterday from start to finish, but I'm so busy these days that I'm having trouble finding time to play anything. I feel lucky I'm managing to play Sonora for a few days....and this is such a large mod that I'm not sure when I'll be able to finish it.
I'm not sure where you have to create an email to get the mod, but if you're looking at the rutracker.org torrent, you can click on the magnet link below the in-game images. If your torrent program isn't configured for your browser, you can right click and copy the magnet link and paste it into the "add the torrent link" option in your torrent program. However, I recommend trying NovaRain's method first, as you don't have to download somewhat shady torrents from a russian torrent tracker: www.nma-fallout.com/threads/fallout-sonora-1-14-and-sonora-dayglow-1-14-vanilla-translation.222396/post-4528440
any idea how to properly install it since you've started the playthrough yourself? Last time I tried I gto a virus check and that really made me go " yup, I''m not taking that risk "
I'm still working on a bunch of stuff at the moment, but NovaRain came up with a pretty comprehensive approach here: www.nma-fallout.com/threads/fallout-sonora-1-14-and-sonora-dayglow-1-14-vanilla-translation.222396/page-31#post-4528440 Let me know if you need any help, and also if this works for you :)
@@quantumapprentice8120 Any links to the original so I can start the process in the link you provided? Last time I tried getting the original there were about 3 different downloads scattered in the nets, really frustrating trying to choose between a github download, a mega download and mod db or NMA. I had no trouble downloading Olympus and Nevada TWICE, so I'm not sure why Sonora is such a hassle, and that's coming from me who works with mods all the time.
Oh nice!

nice! this translation is definitely a solid one, although installing is a little awkward right now, even with the automated installer

Garage City track is a real banger though
gotta admit, once you get to flagstaff the quests get way more interesting!
Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays! :)
Great mod! Fallout will always be in my heart ❤❤❤❤❤❤
yes it is :)
It's mental the detail in this free mod
there is definitely a lot of well crafted questlines, I'm enjoying them a lot
