If I don’t have the nozzle cleaner is there a way I can buy it or a alternative bc it was given as a gift and it didn’t come with it

Thanks brother you have been tremendously helpful in all aspects of learning about the Davinci mini 3d printer and have made my experience so much better than going into using my machine blindly. I just wanted to express my gratitude for your development of all your videos! Keep up the great work! P.S. it seems that xyz printing sends out random colors of PLA filament with their devices as mine came with yellow and I saw in another video that yours came with red. I was actually hoping for white but I had to purchase white from xyz because i believe their filament is proprietary and I didn't want to take any risks of not having another brands filament be incompatible with my Davinci mini. The cost was fair about $20 but they get you with the ridiculous shipping cost of $25 and there was no other option to select a cheaper shipping method. The packaging was extremely good quality and ensured that no damage could be done during transit though hahaha I guess that's where my $25 went.

So I've been able to do this before thanks to your videos. But now i have some filament stuck in the nozzle that won't come out no matter what. The printer heats up to 200 degrees but it's just not melting. And it's hardened so thick that i can't even put the smaller cleaners through the exit point. Any ideas?

Ty man, the manual was way way lost and this resolved my machine 100% stopping mid-print. Only real issue i had was that my filament got stuck. I solved this by warming it up and legit turning it of mid-max heat to maintain the 200c heat level. Then i was forced to cut off my filament and move my machine to my lap so i could to ahead and rip out the filament. This allowed me to clean it as in this video; now i am back at it and it works great. 10/10, i hope nothing breaks even harder haha!

Mine just wouldn't even unload properly and my stupid PLA just broke exactly at that small black ring where one can get the feeder tube detached. So pushing down with that needle or even pulling it out with some small jewelry making tweezers just won't work. I swear, right now that little mercurial diva of a printer is driving me completely nuts 😖

I have tried this several times and it still isn't getting filament through. What is the next step in trouble shooting?

Thanks for the video! I didn't have the wire, so I ended up just pressing some filament in there until it melted and pushed the blocker out. I thought that my printer has been dead for about two years and now it's alive again 😂

I know this is old, but for anyone who may have this issue - If the filament is in the clear tube and won't come out, just disconnect the tube from the extruder and the feeder, then slide it out of there. If the filament is stuck in the extruder, just run the Clean cycle and when it heats up, just pull the filament out.

I have a XYZ Da Vinci Mini W+, and have gotten filament in the housing around the nozzle. Can you tell me how to get to that area to clean it out? I don't seem to see any screws to take of the metal cover and I'm afraid to just go in there and start unscrewing, unhooking stuff. Any videos on that part of the printer? Or any help you can recommend?

You need to take the front off the hotend.
Then you'll have access to the nozzle, and you can attack it with some tweezers/needlenose pliers.

I have the older Mini W and I just let the nozzle heat up, then hit it with some paper until all of the melted filament stuck to it. It's shiny bronze again.
