Bless him. He drove very well considering it’s the opposite side of a narrow road in complex traffic. It just shows even very good drivers will struggle in a foreign country.
Especially these tight london roads very challenging if you’ve never been on them before. I passed and I still struggle to judge distance so I end up going very slowly.
I've only driven in Portugal but I've lived in England and I look at the roads with confusion. Whenever I took any bus or a taxi I'd never look at the road because it would be weird
I passed by test (UK) almost two years ago. Earlier I used to drive in the Gulf (left hand drive) and it was drop dead difficult to get used to right hand drive. Your brain just does not listen to you as your sub conscious mind tells you something else. For a first timer and that too in London, damn, he drove really really well
its funny cause he clearly knows what to do and has all the things going well, its just clear that he's not used to this positioning and driving on the left
I think he did a great job considering he’s driving in one of the worse places for traffic, pedestrians, busses and narrow lanes, somewhere he’s never been before, driving a strange car, on a different side and trying to understand a different language. Asking him to figure out how to wash the windscreen, while still driving at 20mph is very unfair. Most people would need to familiarise themselves with these things while the car was stationary. Hope the alloys weren’t too badly scratched 😃
Hello! Spanish driver here! I loved this video jajaja. I’ve watched Eden’s videos when preparing my driving test and they were great. Didn’t expect this collab. So I wanted to point out several things. In Spain the driving test is very different, when Aman asks him to park and he says “in reverse” is because here, in Spain, during our driving test we have to do at least two manoeuvres (reverse, parking or change of direction) so examiners usually do the reverse and parking all at once. So when we are asked to park during the exam we park in reverse. Also, we have a question at the beginning of the exam about the car functions (how would you turn on the emergency lights, for instance).
It is true. Also in Spain you don't use an indicator when you enter a roundabout, only show to other drivers which exit you're about to take shortly before hand
Eden is such a lovely guy and he did really well. A friend of mine who's English moved to Poland nearly 20 years ago and drives here, says everytime he visits England and drives there, it takes him a while to get used to being on the wrong side:-)

25:34 I always Wonder why do English residential neighbourhoods streets are designed in that way. This must happen a lot and even for experienced drivers it can be a stressful situation. Furthermore, this should be very unproductive: Many times this situation takes place, both vehicles have to stop, maneuver and one of them let the other car pass. All because there is not enough space on the road for two vehicles to pass at the same time, since there are other cars parked on the sides of the road. In Spain, residential streets where two vehicles don't fit at the same time are commonly one way and I believe that thanks to that design it is easier to drive in them and you get rid of all of these "confrontations"
I'm learning in the UK but will move to Germany next year, so it was super interesting to watch an experienced driver dealing with the "wrong" side of the road. Really hope we see Aman in Spain soon

It's not just that in other countries the normal driving lane is the right one, or that the test requirements differ. It's also about the unwritten rules or customs of the drivers. I've never seen anyone in my country have their signal on when going round a roundabout, you only use a signal to leave the roadabout, otherwise it's confusing. Signalling to overtake - again, I only use the signal when I am about to overtake, people do not signal to say "hey, I want to overtake after you pass". That would affect the passing driver who'd assume I don't see them and want to move into their lane. (I'm not from Spain but central EU)
