    I just bought my first sxs last week and purchased the 2024 KRX two seater es. I have been riding atv's since 2010 and really didn't want to give them up. However the sxs world has changed everything about atv riding. I ride mountain trails and small atv paths are over grown now that majority of riders own sxs and the trails for sxs's are really to difficult on an atv and make it no fun to get on and off or have to make my own trail to get around sxs sized obstacle. Most of my group rides Polaris and I love Polaris however they break a lot of ball joints and a arms. Now i know that is part of the game and you can upgrade to beefier parts but why not get a KRX hat already has those stock. Yes the HP isn't there but our average speed is about 20 to 25 so not going to get blown away on trails. I cannot wait to get my KRX out, from all the research Kawasaki has the toughest machine but that really depends on the use and abuse. But the future will only tell.

    I mean credit where credit is due. If they can sell these uber expensive machines, all the more power to them. For me, I thought $10k UTVs were expensive, so this thing is like super UTV territory. More tech than all my cars combined as well. Just crazy how this segment has exploded over the years.

      @@RatstangGarageI want to pull the trigger on the se es 1000, do you think it’s faster than a rzr?

    • @RatstangGarage
      @RatstangGarage 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @20yearsago probably not faster.. they weigh like 400 pounds more. And are very big inside and out compared to the rzr. Leg room cab room wheelbase etc. But one thing kawasaki does do is have active control over suspension and is the best machine out there for rock climbing trail riding everything and is very fast when you WOT. But faster then the rzr no, would be maybe behind like a car or two length top speed run in a straight so it's not slouch but probably won't beat an rzr. You can supercharge it though and put busses on a rzr.

      @20yearsago awesome enjoy bro! If buying new they'll give you or atleast "should" a kawasaki catalog full of customization for your krx.. endless options for things to add! It's pretty sick to be honest

    the complainers just dont get it i get tired of hearing omg that's almost as much as i paid for my car . well hell your car is a simple tool that you spend a few moments in transporting your back side to work. a sxs is a awesome adrenalin budling machine that enhances our lives all day beyond imagination. just saying it may cost almost as much but its worth is so much more . hell i would walk to work so i could trail ride all weekend. lol

    My Rzr XP1000-4 is limited to 69mph, so they are on par for top speed. 110hp in my machine and I never see myself wanting more. Nice review! Be cool if you could do some comparisons test at an OHV trail.

    I think I got lucky !
    I found a 2021 KRX with 104 miles on it for $18,000 ( from a used car dealer !) and took it up to the mountains in Maryland for the first time and put 30 miles on it and tested it on some steep mountainous rocky trails and was quite impressed, the previous owner was a young kid, but there were no dents or bent rods or anything like that and the oil was clean. I am now ready for my first maintenance and hope I got lucky on this one because I would’ve never paid the $28,000, my local dealer wanted for a new one. You always throw the dice anytime you buy anything used, but had this opportunity not come along I wouldn’t have been fortunate enough to own one of these fabulous machines.
    I honestly think I got a great deal, let me know in the comments . 😮

    Great video TK! I typically resent the crazy high-end, top dollar machines (no doubt because I would so much like to be able to afford one) largely because as the price of the top of the line explodes, it usually drags the price of the base model upwards out of affordability too (hello f150). However, props to any manufacturer for making affordable models too (hello Ford Maverick, hello Kawasaki Mule SX). Although top range features may eventually trickle down to the cheap models, a lot of those features are just not needed for lower performance models. This thing is so big and frankly automotive it looks just a crash test (and a road light kit) away from being street legal. There are places in the US where sxs already are cleared for low speed street use. Fat chance of that in Canada. Cheers gents.

    Even the two seater KRX exceeds the weight limit here in Arizona to be able to register it as a off road vehicle with occasional on road driving, because of the weight you have to pay full registration fees every year like it was a automobile, that was a deal killer for me when the KRX first came out.

      Never have had an issue with ours in AZ. Tell them 80/20. As in 80 percent offroad, 20 on road. Even with the weight, its been 35 bucks or so for us. Try a 3rd party.

      I own a 2 seat KRX and I can tell you it is definitely loud. As in, really should wear hearing protection loud. The engine runs high rpm's so that's a big reason. The guy was using some kind of noise suppressing mic during the runs, otherwise it would have been really hard to hear him. Don't know how it compares to other brands since I've not owned others but supposedly all of them are noisy.

    37K cdn for an ATV. Nope! Buy a used Wrangler. At least you can drive it on the road, where most Atv's are limited.
