Pretty cool, i had a 2016 Teryx 800 LE, loved it. But that was another day, another time, im legally blind, and cant drive anymore, my dad that took me riding passed, so i dont get to do anything, fun times.
Great video. I'd personally love to see a 4 seat sport utility shootout between the Commander XTP, General XP 1000, and Rmax limited. Thanks for the content!
I’ve had mine for a little over 2 months now. It’s been a fantastic purchase. I don’t know how big your feet are, but I’m 6’5” size 13 shoe and am very comfortable in the back. I have friends over 6’ & 300# who are comfortable with room to spare in the back seat as well, so I’m surprised at your complaints about the rear seat; it’s far and away the roomiest sport rear seat on the market. The big portals in the bed may be for a specific accessory of which I’m unaware, but they’re definitely good drain holes when washing the bed. My biggest gripes are rear visibility (and the need to pay for the backup camera which is a really useful tool for reverse and keeping your followers in sight) and turning radius (though it has plenty of power to slide the back around and tighten up most turns). Ride quality is nothing short of amazing; the live shock system is something we make a ton of use of across different situations. Sound system is great. Fuel tank is huge. It’s really a phenomenal machine for comfort and being more powerful than the specs indicate. I went with this over a turbo x3 because family & the woman (who really chose it) have back / hip problems that the need for comfort overrode my need for speed. I have a host of Kawi accessories on my unit and a number of aftermarket ones as well. I’m still an ATV guy, but I’ll be keeping this unit for a long time Also the front cupholders are straight garbage for anything other than a coke can.
@archstanton4291 mostly great engine. I've never had trouble with kawi engines though. I say mostly because it's pretty obvious in operation that the engine is significantly restricted from its true output potential. I'm heavily considering exhaust & reflash because the power gains are significant
I agree with you. I'm 6"4 and I was impressed on the back seat room. I'm working a deal now on a 24. Hopefully it works out. Glad to hear about the ride. Coming out of a Wildcat XX which has a great ride and a good amount of room
What octane is everyone using in the KRX's? I was told 91+ but the manual says 87. I think the engine's compression is 10:1, which makes me think higher is the way to go.
At the end you called it everything but a teryx ha ha great video tho thanks man if you ever got sick of trails you could always start taking people to the airport
People don't tie their machines down properly and if it's in park and your trailering it it rocks against park. Also if you put machines in park on a steep hill it can be hard to get them out of park because of the pressure.
I wish there was a unit in this class from someone that could seat 5. I love the sport capabilities of these, but i would have to go with a more utility oriented machine with a 6 seat bench option which i don't like.
Needs a better engine option a machine this large with only 112hp with 4 people is gutless but i guess it would be a good crawler but with 21 inches of suspension would be nice to see a larger engine option.
@Joe Guttzeit ya I got a pro xp 4 it has no problem hitting 84mph with 4 people not the point though .this machine is obviously a stab at the x3 and rzr machines being its not even close to comparable chassi wise to an r max or general. That being said 112 hp for a machine this size and price especially the price is underwhelming.
To my understanding, Kawasaki markets them to rock crawl and to compete with the NA versions of the rzr & x3. That said, yes, it is less powerful, but i wouldn't call it gutless. They still sell like crazy.
@Joe Guttzeit except price wise it is not in the n/a rzr category but but rather the 64 inch x3 and pro xp class nothing about the krx is in a rzr xp class not even close other then the 112 hp in a heavy weight chassi. For this price point with an extreme vehicle like this 112 hp isn't enough.
We have this sxs and we love it compared to rzr and can am. My biggest complaint is the amount of heat coming from the tunnel, and without front suicide doors it will give you a “sunburn”. I think it needs to have an intake in the front somewhere to pull in some air to keep it cooler and have better insulation. I worry about the longevity of my accessories wiring harness running through there.
Hello, I have been looking for a comparative test between the Kawasaki TERYX KRX4 1000 eS Special Edition and the Can-Am MAVERICK X3 MAX X RS TURBO RR Four seats and I cannot find a comparative test, to help me decide which one to buy, both cost more than $ 30,000, and that's what confuses me the most, please would can you help me?
I love the KRX, but absolutely HATE their front cup holder placement. Right behind your shifter to make it hard to get to your drink and in such a spot those beverages will be HOT in no time. I see they haven't changed that in the least from the 2 seater to the 4 seater. Bummer!
70mph is plenty I ride a can am x3 max and after 70-90 it’s kind of scary the terrain starts flying by too fast take ur eyes for a second or two and u can crash or hit some bad terrain
I don't think beadlocks are necessary unless you rock crawl at super low psi. I have over 6600 km on my '22 Maverick. I have two sets tires/rims depending on the conditions and never unbeaded a tire ever. Yes, I like to drift as much as the next guy.
Bead locks come in handy in the sand dunes too. High speeds and low tires pressures for sand lead to beads popping off. I live in Reno Nevada where we have both the Tahoe mountains and the Nevada desert right next to each other.
Side by sides/U TVs and ATVs really I have stepped their game up since like 2016 I just found out about the CF Moto‘s those machines are not bad for someone who’s buying machine not to spend a lot of money I can still get stop that’s nice I don’t know if this is true or not but I heard that CF Moto has a Kawasaki engine
90% of the time, KIDS are in the back seat. My friends have machines of their own. They are not popular in the southwest. 116 hp is not going to make it up the China Wall at Glamis or Comp hill at Dumont. Two big dune hills. Kawasaki, Honda and Yamaha (and god forbid Suzuki) are not making the effort to improve power. And where the hell is Suzuki? Are they going out of business?

Nice Machine. I'm sure we will see lots of them. Good review Sir!
Looks like you are getting machines a little easier this year. Lots of walk around videos which are nice BUT someone had better get riding. Lol

How's the engine?
Last kawasaki engine i had sucked

We need top speed pulls.
But being said where we leaning Kawi 4 seater vs Honda 4 seater ? And would that winner win vs a general 4 seater

Looking to buy one so thank you for this!
Same! Been shopping for our first sxs for over a year now. Think we found the one
I have a 2022 rzr high lifter but might get another one this might be an option for sure looks sexy af

Just another reason to buy a yxz.

put a bench seat in the back it’ll seat 5
You could ratchet strap a couch onto the bed which would add at least 3 seats 😆
@@wyattwhitworth8184 Is that actually something available on the aftermarket?

I think the new rzr is a carbon copy of the krx not the other way around.
Kymco just brought back out the maxxer 450. You guys should review it. Especially since you haven’t done a kymco in quite a while
Oh wow. Yep, that would be cool.
I love my 2024 krx4 1000
It looks Tuff looking 👍

It’s no turbo x3, but mine has no problem hitting 70 with 4 adults in it

Is that notch on the back 3.5” wide? Looks like it would fit a 2x4.
More like a 1x6. I don't have exact measurements

Yeah the beadlock's is overated and it make the vihicle more expensive too for i am sure 90% don't need that at all!

Next year they’re gonna have a six seater third row seating Buy something to take the whole family and I have extra room👍👍👍👍👍👍

It look's like a bus to me lol not appealing at all! Maybe nice for the personale driving around with the elders from the eldershome lol!
Not everyone wants to knock their teeth out going balls to the wall. And not everyone wants to spend another 5 grand on a rzr for the same features 😂
