Sometimes its really overwhelming trying to decide where to begin with paintings, thank you for breaking down the process!
I’m so glad it helped!
I painted it and hung it in my room....it is very beautiful💙
I"m so glad to hear that you like your painting enough to hang it in your room. Way to go!
I'm about to do a mural of this!!!! Tytytytyty so much for making it simple.,❤
That's awesome! Wish I could see it when it's finished. Hope it turns out great
Excellent! Very well explained and lovely! My favorite piece of art, right up there with”The Scream”, by Munch! You are very talented! 👏 👍 🩵 💙💛🤍🧡🤎🩶🖤

Amazing! Is the base necessarily that shade of yellow or can I do blue?
So glad you enjoyed! Give the blue a try, and see what happens :)
Could one do this with tempera paint? Would it work?
I think so,...the quality might be slightly lower. But I think it's worth a try!
thankuu for this,it helps me a lott
Yay! I’m so glad 💜💜
You made this look easy
haha not sure if that's good or bad!
@@rainbowparrotart9861 actually, it was a compliment to you because I know how little talent I have. I actually painted the picture yesterday and yours is so much better! But like you say, “that’s ok!” ♥️🥰
@@Francine1117 so glad you tried it! Many times I have made art that I didn’t like or that I thought wasn’t good. It’s the willingness to try that counts! Keep trying!
Underestimating the value by several magnitudes
yes indeed
Can i use guache paint for this?
You can try, but in my experience guache does not layer very well.
At 71yo I'm really enjoying your videos. But just one thing - like all Americans you mispronounce this chap's name by leaving off the last two tetters of his name - the correct dutch pronunciation VanGogh is with the GH sounded from the throat as if you are clearing the throat. If you can't manage that then FF is a substitute some English people use, but that's not correct either 😊.
Thank you. I’m so glad you’re enjoying the videos. I’m accepting of the mispronunciation as a legit form of pronouncing his name. It’s kind of like a slang word that becomes an actual word. Pronunciations of things vary from culture to culture. I think that’s natural. But yea, I hear you, it’s definitely not the technically correct, original pronunciation of his name :) Thanks for your support of this channel!
