I have the Executive version of this bike with the electrically adjustable screen and the fold in mirrors that you mentioned. I agree it has plenty of storage but the top box that can be added in place of the pillion backrest gives a bit more storage. The Burgman holds its own on the open road with the cruisers, sports bikes and tourers. The CVT is responsive but the manual mode is handy for highway riding because it provides an extra gear for improved fuel economy. In my opinion the Burgman is the benchmark for maxi scooters. The Aprilla is bigger but not as well equipped and the TMax is a smaller engine and did not have the electrically adjustable screen when Suzuki stopped selling them in Australia. I previously owned a Kawasaki Vulcan Voyager and loved it as well as the Burgman. I now have a Can Am Spyder and I love it but not more than the Burgman. Thanks for sharing your review. Here is mine th-cam.com/video/LzDg9MOaLHQ/w-d-xo.html
This is my Scoots Big Brother. Mine = 2006 Silver Burgman 400 They look remarkably similar, mines just a tad smaller. If this one's a linebacker, mines a running back lol. I just toured 4000 mile interstate Tour to SoCal from my home in Almost, LA. All I needed was more power...I can see yours has it. Nice review Brother !
that semi-automatic CVT must bewilder other motorcycle riders, hearing you rev up and shift "ON A SKOOTUR LOLZ!". I found this video after seeing a craigslist ad for this model... I think I like :)
Yeah I was trying to find a low miles good one, the AK550 has 54hp, a little less then the Burgman and 100lbs lighter so it is speedier and quicker and better gas mileage
Yes it is a Limo, I recently found a 2015 650 Burgman with low miles love love the comfort and highway handling, so I use the AK550 too speed around town
Great review, well done. Have you tried it for two-up riding/touring? I'm considering purchasing one, but wondering if a shock upgrade would be required for a pillion and luggage.
Maybe a burgman 400 is also a option. It's a gratis bike for commuting and me and the wife is no problem on the highway so a 650 will handle this with-out a problem.
I've done two up touring. 1st off, wind protection for pillion isn't obviously as good so take that into consideration. Never had a complain from the rider tho. Handling was great and felt solid and safe. Power is plenty for overtaking. Braking is very solid (double front disk brakes and ABS is fantastic, plus rear disc brake). So much space under the seat for luggage. It is a heavy bike (about 280 kg) and its a challenge maneuvering while parking or when leaving parking because it sits low and you cant control it with your thighs/legs like you can a taller bike. But my recommendation for this bike. Its a phenomenal piece of equipment and very dependable. Consumes about 6.5 liters in town and about 4.5-5.0 liters on the open road.
What mounting device did you use with your Quad Lock phone holder There appears to be about 20 or 30 different options Obviously it needs the flat mount to cable tie to the rear brake master cylinder. Is it 2 different pieces or just one
@@samihasib I own one too and I'm 6'4". I bought mine used, and it came equipped with an aftermarket saddle that makes me wish I could scoot my butt farther back. Other than that, I absolutely love mine, and I've owned 3 different Goldwings. It'll cruise at 90 mph as long as you keep fuel in the tank. Top end is between 105 and 110 MPH. The hand operated parking brake works as advertised BUT... there's no telltale light to tell you it's on. I've gotten on, and ridden away several times with it on. (not so good for brake pads). It should be good for two up; I'm around 290 pounds and my bike rides as good as I could wish with the shock pre-load set to its highest setting. I get, generally, around 50 MPG, about the same as my Goldwings got.
It‘s pretty sad, if you‘re looking for a 2 wheeled daily driver, this is still your best option. No manufacturer these days sells something even remotely like this (in Europe at least) besides Kymco with their AK 550 but that isn‘t as good and costs almost double as a used Suzuki Burgman 650 Executive. Every maxi scooter on the market is some weird sport scooter. There simply are no GT scooters being offered. The Burgman is what I‘ll go for eventually unless the market adapts to my preference.
Was going for one or the TMAX but someone said try the Honda Forza 750 and wow, nothing (imo) compares to that, every factor is bigger/faster/economical etc etc and with the bigger wheels handling is motorbike like!!!
Are you selling this scooter or just showing it please comment back thank you for this video very nice scooter I love the colors With the Chrome wheels Or the polished aluminum wheels looks very nice

I've had a 2007 model since 3 years ago and am so in love with it. When I'm not riding it, I watch videos about riding it.
Best review I've heard on these.
great video. detailed. i have a 250an 2003. they are great fun and comfort. undervalued i reckon. thinking of upgrading to 650.
Best review so far
Just bought a high milage 2004. Still runs like new

We bought the burgman 250cc 2010. What a cool scooter. Have just traded it in for a burgman 650cc 2013.
I also have a suzuki burgman 650 from 2008, black metallic :-) great machine!
Can you add a Bluetooth speakers on reservoir and connected to accessory wire? Any help will be cool thanks!
I couldn't find this bike, so went with the AK550 Kymco, 2021 model, plenty of speed and power, love it!
2018 was the last year of this scooter's production

@@brianhowie3996 understandable, AK550 is a much newer scooter.
The Kymco is a sports-car. But this big Burg is a presidental limousine!

Is this a twin cylinder engine?
How much is a fairly used one?
Yes, 638cc parallel twin
I have a 2009 and absolutely love it smooth quiet fast nimble cheap on gas !
Beautiful scooter. Why would they stop production?
I’ve seen a 2005! Guessing pretty much same features etc!
Needs repairs! (Tires & battery/alternator!?) Hoping a family member can use for commute!
Such a badass bike
Good job! Great review! 👍
Nice thanks,😃 would have liked to see the seat open and the little compartment though
Very informative review.
Great review, well done. Have you tried it for two-up riding/touring? I'm considering purchasing one, but wondering if a shock upgrade would be required for a pillion and luggage.
I have done some long toures - solo.
Both shocks are soft and will surely benefit from an upgrade if you are riding with a pillion.
Rode safe.

It's held down by a couple of Zipties
Good info.
Amader ekhane only Burgman 125 ache. Kintu kono features nei.
Great review nice and clear . 🙂☕🍰
