I've been struggling with the AF on wildlife photography & I've watched plenty a video about the R7 but yours was the only one that I've seen that answered my questions. Thanks!
@@FulaanCreative although ive seen a lot of tutorials in youtube and in the internet. been binge watching your content here, a lot of help especially in choosing my first lens. i want to get that meike drop in adapter but can’t find it online here in Finland. i can say that im a total beginner, but your channel helps a lot. thanks.
Clear tutorials right here! Currently rocking a 4000d, have a few lenses. Really looking forward to get my hands on an R7 and the adapter! Keep up the great work! 🙏
You are the kind of person who I would have liked to have been my math teacher. This video showed me awesome tips and tricks I would have NEVER found on my own.
Just a fantastic summary. Thank you for the info on autofocus I had been struggling in figuring out which to use and it’s resulted in soft portraits (left it on whole area)
Thanks for the great info Fulaan. I have previously used the Canon EOS 60D and then the 80D, but now I am going to get the R7. Just hope that there will be more lenses soon that are adapted to the RF-S format.
Hello, your videos are great man super informative. Im getting into videography mainly soccer. My budget is 1900. Which canon do you recommend for this?
Thanks for the reply i was looking at both the r7 and r8. I want mainly video for soccer with some pictures. I saw your short on the r8 vs r7 and you mentioned r7 is better for sports and wildlife?
Dope. Would you say the r10 af feels the same like the r7? I wanna shoot some sports and I'd prefer sticking to the mechanical shutter. They both do 15 fps!! So would it be best to stick to the r10?
So I not that long ago (few days) came across your channel, and I’m enjoying every bit of it, very informative and helpful. I’m a beginner to photography and I’ve been eyeing the Canon EOS R7 for the past week. And I’m sure that’s the camera I want to purchase. I was considering buying just the body alone on Amazon and then a lens separate (I’m looking to do like nature / landscape photography) what beginner lens would you suggest? And again thanks for all of the great content👍🏾
Luts can be used in any video editing software that lets you use custom luts. Things like Davinci Resolve, Final Cut, Cap Cut etc....The Lightroom profiles can be used in lightroom and luminar neo
I have the Sigma 18-35 1.8 and the 50-100 Art lenses and they are fantastic for the R7 being a crop sensor camera. Not many quality EF-S lenses out there but the Sigma ones are fantastic on the R7
Just found your account by searching up info for the R7 - it was a great video and I have subbed. But i have a bit of a question, I noticed originally when you showed the camera, you had a 50 mm lens on, with a lens adapter. Personally, I have to use a lens adapter because I’ve only got really old lenses. How much does the adapter affect the auto focus and the resolution/overall quality of the photos and video? Thanks again, thoroughly enjoyed the video
Thanks! The adapter I use also has a built in Variable ND filter and for me I find that having a built in ND filter is more valuable for me than the minuscule advantage I may or may not get using RF lenses. For me I haven't seen any loss in quality or functionality at all while using my EF and Ef-s lenses. Keep in mind though that I mainly do video so I'm speaking more from that perspective.
@@FulaanCreativeI’ll add from a photo perspective no loss of anything at all. In fact I’d say the lenses are better now as the mirrorless camera can focus in lower light than their DSLR predecessors and the eye & subject detection is great
MOST Excellent as always sir! I can't wait until I can order my R7 in a couple of weeks! In the meantime I am a sponge, learning all I can from videos like yours, and trying to learn Lightroom basics Your way of explaining things hits home to me and is straight to the point!!

Thanks! The main cameras I would recommend in that price range are the Canon R50 & The Sony ZVE10. If you can spend $1500 on camera alone I wold recommend the Canon EOS R8.

My R7 Does not have the box 1,2,3, i just have icons i guess this would be the same or no? great video thanks
Yes it would generally work the same
which mode for potrait photography for multiple people?
Aperture Priority with the Aperture set to about f4-f8
Hello, your videos are great man super informative. Im getting into videography mainly soccer. My budget is 1900. Which canon do you recommend for this?
I'd go with the Lumix S5 II. My 2nd choice would be the Canon EOS R8

I love my r7. Have you tried the 15-35 on it?
I haven't. I do have the tamron 15-30 f2.8 though which has image stabe and is about half the price of the RF 15-35 f2.8
EF lenses for this mirrorless camera? Wouldn t RF lenses be a better pick? Thanks
They are lighter but other than that the advantages are not that big
@@FulaanCreative ok, thanks. I just got an R7, that s why I asked. Cheers mate. I got 2 RF-S

Theoretically they should be the same but I haven't done enough high action photography on either camera to be able to say for sure.
Great advice bro, thanks!
Any time!

None whatsoever but keep in mind that I mostly do video. I haven't had any issues with stills either but I don't shoot photos as often.

Hello Jose. It's very similar with very minor differences.
@@FulaanCreative Awesome, thank you! ;-)
Images are not sharp when the subject is moving in little bit low light in the indoor.
increase the shutter speed and using a tripod might help a bit
Don't shoot in .jpeg, it's useless!
I like your other videos Fulaan, but this particular one isn't very helpful. Basically, none of these advices relate to R7, but rather generic.
True but these aspects don't really change from camera to camera
