  • Former Reform UK deputy leader Ben Habib speaks to Mike Graham about the party’s new constitution.
Ben raises concerns over the democracy of the party, claiming the constitution does not allow members to remove the leader.
He tells Mike: “It’s a half-baked document from 2022 which has been topped and tailed at best by a paralegal.”

The next five years are going to be a puritanical nightmare. The only hope we have is that; like the brief interruption of Cromwell in the 1600’s; the future will be able to undo the damage caused by this self serving Labour government. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧

So many left wing supporters got into Tories and influenced right wing supporters ,that party is no longer conservative. Tories can't kick them out because anyone can get into democratic party. Reform has a previlage to kick out left wing supporters who get into Reform acting as right wing..

Ben needs to stop slagging Nigel off, he is doing untold damage to Reform, it comes across as sour grapes, he was not thought good enough to be voted in as an MP by the voters in his constituency and is now smarting from it. He never complained about it before. if he cannot support Reform maybe he should leave.

The way that some are now hinting that Ben Habib should replace Farage as leader of Reform UK is worrying to me and shows how fickle people are. I love Ben Habib, he's a gentleman. But I wish he would answer this for me. Why on earth did Ben want Priti Patel as the new leader of the Tory party? It's ONE thing that I can't understand. She 'promised' in 2019 she would "do something about the boats" - she did absolutely nothing! Later, she snapped when questioned about this, saying that "it's not easy". So DON'T PROMISE then! If Ben were to be future leader of Reform UK - would Patel be joining? That would be the finish for me because I do not trust Patel after that blatant promise on camera. She's all mouth, loves the importance of a top role, but I do not trust her politically. I am not straying away from Farage, but obviously he has to show Reform UK voters that he WANTS very much to be a future PM, for all the right reasons. I also hope that Farage would NOT want people like Patel.

The Electoral Commission website lists how/what/when re registering a Party - omg - such a long list, so many stages, so much to get right or be rejected, so many documents, not just the one thing that Ben refers to either, so let's be a bit more transparent.
