  • Why Tourists Love This City In THAILAND | HUA HIN | Journey Across Thailand #livelovethailand
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hua Hin is one of the top tourist destinations of Thailand from its great amount of attractions and activities - plus it isn’t far from Bangkok. The city has many incredible Beaches, mountains, viewpoints, Temples, night markets, water parks, and fine diners for you to choose from and enjoy at any time of the year.
Hua Hin features a beautiful, powdery sand beach, numerous seaside Seafood restaurants, a lively night market, numerous beach activities, and some great inland activities, not least of which is golfing at some of Thailand’s most renowned courses. Just down the coast at Takiab Bay, visitors can take seaside horseback rides and visit a hilltop Buddhist temple with a spectacular view. Accommodation along the beach and on the streets leading away from the sea ranges from simple guesthouses to luxury resorts and includes some of the finest spa-retreats in the world. Hua Hin is accessible via train, bus, or car and the seaside community of 60,000 residents is a fine example of warm and welcoming Thai hospitality.
Pala-U waterfall, which is located in Kaeng Krachan national park, is also a great butterfly watching spot.

This brought back some special memories for me. I spent 2 weeks in Hua Hin in February and liked it very much, my hotel was around the corner from Markt Village. Next time I return to Thailand I will visit Hua Hin again. I'm glad to see you went to Father Ted's bar, I had breakfast in there a few times and also a few drunken evenings too.

Going there next week, I rented an amazing Airbnb near the beach with pool, gym etc, for just $20 a day. You don't need to spend $100's of dollars to find good deals.

I have visited Hua Hin. I felt it was nice and slower than Bangkok of course. I enjoyed the nice beach area and the mall is nearby were I stayed. I also visited a national park about one hour from Hua Hin, via a local taxi driver. Not sure what the price is these days, but I paid 2,000 baht for the morning to mid-afternoon.

It looks pretty clear that the hotel, as nice as it is, has outpriced themselves from the majority of potential consumers. At 50-60USD a night they may get more guests but not surprised to see the place nearly empty at 120usd/night.

I stayed across the road at El Casita for three months. There are better markets on the other side of HH. There is so much more to see, Monkey Mountain, Soi 94, Soi 80, Binabat, Dolphin Bay - HH is an enormous place that offers so much.

Hua Hin is basically a more laid back more family friendly Pattaya.
Hasn't been there for what seemed like 15 years good to see it still maintained that reputation.

Was there in October and access to beach not that smooth because of all resorts with gated community. Nice beach but no beach walk. Nice aroundings in Hua Hin.

If you are partial to the odd game of golf, you should know Hua Hin is golfing paradise. Many courses surround the town including Springfield Lakes and Black Mountain which is rated in the top 50 courses of the world. Hotels will arrange everything including clubs, transport etc. All you have to do is turn up and tee off. Also some fantastic seafood restaurants like Chaolay located right on the beach. Soi Bintabaht used to be a thriving bar area but I think it was devastated by covid and hasn't recovered
