I tried my piggies with fennel and they love it but not sure if its high in calcium so only give it them once a wheek has a treat. Thank you for the nutritional breakdown of the herbs i grow most of them on my kitchen window shelf
That's amazing that you can grow your own herbs. I'm sure that your piggies love that. Fennel is a great veggie that can be sever 3-4 times per week and it helps them with digestive issues.
I stopped giving herbs even occasionally because of bladder sludge in one of my piggies ,they get peppers especially green pepper because of the vitamin c content and I give carrot as an occasional treat because of the sugar content so only occasionally,I did have a piggy that loved basil but the rest actually ran away from the basil ❤.Great video and lots of information,.They also get a little piece of banana rarely and a little apple ,I have 1 piggy that runs away from anything sweet
Thank for sharing that. It is true that some herbs can create discomfort to some piggies. Sometime they will also get bloating from veggies like broccoli and cabbage. It is important to try different things with guinea pigs and provide them what they like without causing health issue.
2:29 did you say this "friggen herb" i probably mis heard so i'm sorry either way. but if you did i thought it was funny, lol . oh btw I tried my piggies on Basil the other day. and they loved it only 2 walked away from it but then came back when they saw the others eating it

Thanks for your comment. That's great that your piggies have discover Basil. It is also very easy to grow in the garden or in a flower pot.
I think he said "fragrant"
Definitely sound like Friggen but in the caption it says "fragrant". That make more sens to me but I don't like sage.
@MonsieurGrill I didn't have caption on so I didn't pay attention to that bit I appreciate clarification
