Great show, Wily and Jacob. Really enjoy your videos. Thanks for sharing and have a great week!!
You to. And thanks for watching
When i saw the rats' nest, i was thinking it chewed on some wiring. But it's amazing to see it started with starting fluid. It's an awesome video, Wiley. 👍 👍👍👍
Thanks for watching
I love any video of yours no matter the duration. I’m a middle aged man that’s worked on dang near everything it seems and I still learn so much in your videos especially watching and listening to your thought process. I appreciate your videos and your commentary more than my words can truly express.
Thank for that. I appreciate you.
hello Wally can you please do a part 2 on this truck with Hank or Jacob you love the videos enjoy them
Thank you for inviting us.
Thank you for coming
It’s always so exciting when one of your videos pop up. They’re like dessert, a combination of stepping back in time, clean, wholesome, entertaining, and so much more. I’m not one to really watch anything but your videos I truly enjoy and feel sad when they end but always look forward to the next. You and Jacob are a amazing team.
Thank you for that. We appreciate you.
Wily, I just love your troubleshooting skills and you talking to us through the video. You do your videos however you want. I'll be watching.
Thank you and thanks for watching
Any video is better than no video I watch them all thanks wiley for the entertainment
Thank you
Again you are always trying and it is amazing to watch you work out the problems
Thank you and thanks for watching
Wily, I think you’re doing the right thing keeping your videos under 30 minutes, I can’t handle watching hour long videos, I think a lot of viewers will fast forward like I do, Enjoy your videos from central Fl.
Yup
Another fast forward kinda guy here
Totally agree. That other 'makin oil' guy tends to stretch his videos far too long showing every detail. I still like what he does but I forward a LOT on his. But not on Wily's!
I prefer the longer videos and I really like to see every detail. I don't have cable anymore so TH-cam is my television
Thank you for sharing and watching
Later model trucks require you to push clutch pedal down in order to start
I keep forgetting about that. I am going to ask Jacob if he had the clutch pushed in when he was up there.
It's a runner thankz Wily good job thank you
Thank you
i think your right just some little conection she good to go give that truck a clean up be a good machine great video
In think so. tried 4 times. Thanks for watching
Think safety my brother.
Well my friend, just do what you want to do most of us viewers will still be here because we like what you do!!personally i watch you because I like watching someone as old me doing things he likes to do
Thank you and thanks for watching
We appreciate You & your Son
Thanks you we appreciate you watching us
Your videos remind me of Keith Rucker at Vintage Machinery . Calm, relaxing, no panics, very enjoyable. Thank you.
Thank you for watching
Thank you for giving it your best effort, Wily. We always appreciate what you do. It did crank up, that's definitely an accomplishment. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you. Thanks for watching
Great to hear that low mileage truck roar back to life Wiley! I’m sure you’ll get the small stuff figured out and tell us this truck is going to a new home!
Thanks for watching
Excellent job my friend, I absolutely love seeing the older equipment come back to life
Wiley you are truly amazing and I am thankful that you are sharing these videos with us
You and Jacob keep up the great work and looking forward to seeing your next adventure ( aka farm tractors
May Gods Blessings be with you all always
Thank you for that and thanks for watching
Good video Wily and Jacob you guys will get it going sounds like you are close now
Thanks and thank you for watching
Take care and God bless Wiley
Thanks
If that's a cat 3126 it's a Hui hydraulic unit injection, oil pressure has to build up before the motor will start .
3116 is a mui mechanical unit injection does not work that way.
Thank you for sharing and watching
Thanks for another great video Wiley.
It was interesting and enjoyable to watch.
Sorry you could not get it to run on its own without the either.
I agree with you the fuel connection is not working when you turn on the key. Some of those wires are not connected right.
Let us know if you are going to try again
Also please let us know about the truck and body. Selling separate or what.
Wiley I have a suggestion. It just kills me you don’t have equipment with you when you try these starts. HOW about fixing up a starter kit carry in your pickup so that you have some items to work with. I would have a small chain saw and clippers and things like that and a set of tools to work with and all that to work with. Keep in your pickup to work with. That way you are half way prepared to attack these starts.
Now just a thought, not trying to boss you around. Just trying to help!!!!!!!!!
Well sorry this one didn’t stay running. You did your best.
Let us know the outcome.
You take care.
The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Lol 😂. Jacob gets on me all the time about that. I need to be more organized. Thank you for sharing and watching
Don't mind whether it's half or full hour it's ur content that makes it worth watching
Thank you for sharing and watching
Good video Wiley. Thanks for sharing
Thank you and thank you for watching
I like all lengths of videos. If the start is detailed enough then longer is fine. If it is not then 30 minutes or so is good. Nice job with all your work. I enjoy watching!
Thanks for sharing
Awesome video, Wiley. I appreciate you sharing, buddy
Thank you. I appreciate you watching
Enjoyed it Wiley! I think you got it figured out honestly
Thank you
I like wiley he seems so gentle, such a knowledgeable man . Would love to meethim ,talk for hours. He's very interesting. God bless you . Buffalo ny
Thank you for that and thanks for watching
That's crazy what a mess those critters can make.
It really is.
I prefer the longer videos and I really like to see every detail. I don't have cable anymore so TH-cam is my television but as long there's an interesting video, I'll watch it
Thank you for your feedback and watching
You need to add some limb/ weeds removal tools to your tool box .
Wiley! Us older gents have trouble finding their Dipsticks . Usually cold weather or belly is in the way 😅
😂. My oh my. That’s funny. But you always know where its supposed to be
I wouldn't miss one of your videos Wiley no matter how long they are , what's better than a old country boy coming across a snake or two. Just promise me you will throw that boot and that heavy rock at them before you run off! Lol ahh your the the best Wiley
Lol 😂 i hate a snake. Thanks for watching
Sure enjoyed ìþ you and jacob do a great job
I Like your videos all the time. I don't like really long videos. You always getneright to it!
Thanks for sharing and watching
Wiley I don’t make recommendations very often because so many people have their own opinions about tools. I purchased a Milwaukee battery powered saw a few weeks ago after I had a tree cut down. The tree was a water oak and it had a million little limbs. I cut every limb with that saw from 1” to 10” no joke.
It’s called a pruning saw with an 8” bar. If you get one, you won’t regret it.
Thank you for sharing. We are going to get some kind one of these days
❤ the video! Keep being u Whilley. It freaks me out when u start digging in those windows. Snakes a d hornets etc.
Thank you. I am gun shy after those two snakes in dozer No wasp yet but i know their out there waiting on us 😂
Wily might I suggest a couple of boxes of Disposable Latex Gloves for when you're cleaning up Rodent Droppings and Nests. We don't want you to get sick from contact.
I cant wear them. I know what you’re saying. Thank you for watching
I check to see if you have new videos everyday, when you post one I watch, another great video!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you. I appreciate that
Very good job and God bless y'all
Thank you
It’s awesome inspection to old-time engine.
You're better bloggers, you're better team
Thank you
You need to pack a little hand saw. just throw it behind the seat. They have them that will fold up and don't take up that much room. Don't let anyone use it people don't put things back!
Thanks. I may look at that I think the the out door guy uses one
Nice work.
Thank you
Excellent video Wiley :) also Jacob :) should be switch says Override Idle or Cruise Control for switches when first do on Cold starts and when get middle in temperature or 30 mins after starts up and flick switch to Normal on Cruise Control and drive on !
I looked for something like that. As you know the new owners of these trucks change out buttons with toggle switches I seen a toggle switch. I switch it back and forth during this process. Its going to be something so simple when we/someone finds it
Thanks for sharing and watching
@@DontbeWily fully understand that Wiley that why like updating schemetatics and show the changes too !
Ya right!!
Wily....Just want to say I appreciate your videos being short like they are. For me personally when I see over an hour long will it run I just skip immediately to the end. If it ran then I'll jump back and watch bits and pieces. Hank should take some tips from Ole Wily....
Lol 😂.
Thank you. We appreciate you
Whew! That was a lot of rat dust on that one. Stay safe Wily and Jacob!
Will do. Thanks for watching
Wiley i cant believe that a man who worked in the woods for a good part of his life doesn't have at least 2 chainsaws in his truck wth. You also might want to add a leaf blower too good job wiley
😂. I am disappointed in myself about that
That truck will make somebody a great service truck with the cage on top you can work on tailers front back and sides 👍
Thanks for sharing
Yeah buddy, thumb up from cape town south africa
Thank You
Hello Wily, I was thinking about all of the trees and stuff that you are having to work around.
For Me, I that I would ask for help from the owner because if they really want you to help get stuff running - Then it shouldn’t be any problem to help make your job easier. Fair Is Fair.
My guess was maybe a 3116 or 3126 Caterpillar engine based on what our GM cherry picker trucks that our traffic signal technicians used to drive. Our Fords had the 370 V8 engines mostly. I’m not sure which diesel engine that Ford used in there similar sized trucks.
Thanks and thank you for sharing
✌️
Thank you Wiley. I would remove all that weight on the back and make It in to a roll back tow truck.❤😅
Great idea! Thanks for sharing and watching
Lov3 your videos wily
Thank You
Your and good mechanic so you don’t need long videos.
I have difficulty watching those longer videos fwiw.
With that filthy oil-likely the injectors are leaking injection actuation pressure, or the pump is not able to pump enough pressure. A good powertrain for a one ton.
Thanks for sharing and watching
I would like to have a dollar for every battery new and the core battery I had my hands on in 36 years at the Napa parts house.
😂. Thank you for sharing and watching
Parabéns Willy , muito bom, abraços Rodolfo Brasil
I don't translate in America you translate!!
Thanks and thanks for watching
Indonesia is looking at you
Thank you
So are you done trying to start it hope for a new video of you finishing it
I may look at it again. I wanted to drive it. Its something that would take a guy that knows his stuff 5 minutes to locate I had no luck. Thanks for watching
didn't some of those Cats have bad computer that can keep them from starting up. I remember watching one of Bruce Wilson videos they had same trouble with one of there Cats was doing same thing. The ECM will let it start on starting fluid but won't run on the diesel fuel. Is the a C12 motor?
I wonder if it was the that or the Rats had got to mire wires that i didn’t see
Other than the Rat nest she looks clean!😉
It does to
Me too. Thanks for sharing and watching
You should stop by sometimes do you know Larry Griggs had PDS Truck in Opp good friend of mine
Yea. I remember Larry bought a few parts from him.
Well Don you gave it a good try, but I think the Rats got at the wires 👍🍮😎
I think so too. Thanks for watching
Push in the clutch
I keep forgetting that. Thanks for sharing
Is it a keeper
I think so
Looks like it was an Altec AA600 bucket truck.
Thanks for sharing and watching
Brakes are good and the tires are fair 😅
Hot rod Lincoln?
I would be scared of the snakes that may be around.
Thanks for watching
i would love to work with you ...but i'm in new york lol
Lol. Thank you for that.
Looks like a C7.
Thanks for sharing
if that truck is still in Elba most likely you came by my house i am on 84 between elba and new brockton
I came from in Opp. I have been by your house lots of times. I know where Pea River Timber is
what happened to hank?
We just don’t film anymore together. He is fine. He is still doing videos
Hard to find something that is covered up in that mess of stuff.
The good Lord and Harbor Freight gave you that great compressor, why not hook an air hose to and blow off some of the junk? Well it took you 22 minutes and look what you found. Now a little battery chainsaw to clear out around where you be working and your dialed in. Thats a great low mileage CAT. Be safe, dont trip and fall or get snake bit.
Your right. I don’t think i got use to having it yet. Thank you for sharing and watching
@@DontbeWily Wiley im a trucker so i gots lots a miles like you, work harder not smarter my friend. Hey a good job on the boy he seems to be picking up on stuff. Just saw him on that day cab KW helping with the air leaks.
I think it would be good, If you had pulled it out of the brush. just to work on it,,
For sure. Thanks for sharing and watching
Keep the videos reasonably short. I just don't understand why so many channels have started putting out 2+ hour videos. No matter how much I like a channel, I will not watch anything that long.
I do understand that. Thanks for sharing
scaffold truck
Thanks for sharing
You ever encounter any snake's while you're making these videos?
Yea. A couple of times
Keep the videos short. I can’t do over about 30-50 minutes. I think 20-30 is just right
Thanks for the feedback and watching
CAT 3126
Thanks
Don't forget your chainsaw
Thanks for watching
As cheap as a bower is, like the kind you blow yard clippings off with. Why you dont carry one with you to blow the rats nest off a motor.
Thank you for sharing. We will Thanks for watching
Thank you for making these videos.
Try to get yourself a small chainsaw.
Need one for sure. Thanks for watching
Dumb statement Wily MAKIN OIL
I enjoy the short vids, not one for sitting still for long
Thanks for the input
when are we going to see part 2
Used to have a good friend that would say I saw that out of my bad eye or I heard that out of my bad ear but in all seriousness watch out for those rattle heads and copper snakes it kinda scared me when you almost stepped on the rattle snake in the one video be safe brother
I will. Thanks for sharing and watching
Ya right!!
