My name is Jacob and I am a Norse Pagan. I started my journey with the Old Gods in 2016, in 2019 I was giving an offering to Odin outside of my home and I felt his presence before me. In a few short words I knew my task ahead of me, I needed to gather the folk. With backgrounds in running my own photography business, and my time managing restaurants, I had the skills to make a difference.
I started with an Instagram account in June 2019 to start reaching out to others for the first time, and in August 2019 I began my journey into youtube. While it was a slow journey at first, I continued to make videos in hopes that they could help others who started out lost like me. By February of 2020 I made the first huge step into what the Wisdom of Odin was created to do, I put out a call to gather the folk. Within a week I had 9 people ready to meet in Kentucky for an Ostara festival, and it was one of the most beautiful days of our lives.
We started something on that hill, we set in motion something I think will change the world. We started to plan the next gathering a day after returning home. Midsummer would become a life changing experience all over again. We gathered 27 people to worship the old gods in Kentucky.
In between those two gatherings the Wisdom of Odin sky rocketed in viewership and community support. While I am so honored to be watched by so many, my ability to respond to meesages is coming to an end. All I can do is to continue to promote these gatherings, and make videos to help others.
There is a dream that exist, a dream that grows closer by the day. A dream to build a hall in North America! Keep watching for updates on its development. This hall will not be easy and it will have cost, I am working with some amazing people to make this happen and I hope when the time comes youll be willing to take up hammers to assist us in its construction.

This actually helped a lot, I’m a newcomer to Norse paganism and this was definitely helpful, a long with the rest of the channel
I’m not so new to it but I’ve studied it and the Vikings a lot and I’m really into it and I am kind of new to actually doing the practice. I’m 13 so I’m young and I and growing up in a Christian house, but I have friends that are danish that grew up pagan and live pagan and I talk to them a lot. Whenever I talk about Norse paganism I see ravens fly by.
@@ToyotaPrius-dx5uu Learn everything you can and take to practice what feels right, I found Wicca at 13 myself a decade ago in a christian household so I know the closet (in more than one way LOL) but now years after my mom threw my beloved pentacle away she helped me buy a hq silver one instead of the cheaper version and now has (albeit rough) discussions about religion and why I believe what I do with me. I didn't think any of that was possible when I started my path, though I don't know your situation the gods never forsook me over not being able to practice/give offerings while I lived with them. Also, just a note when referring to the people or culture it's usually Norse, Northmen, or Danes (Asatru is the modern term for Norse Paganism though!) vikings is a more recent and christianized term for the beserkers/sheildmaidens who fought in raids/war and wasn't used to describe their cultural background 😊

What just happened to me put a smile on my face. After watching this video I decided to go outside and meditate on all the gods I am aware of and are learning of going through them in my head one by one on what god is the god of etc as I am new to the faith and have not yet had an experience that defines which god is looking over me the most. As I was going through them I came to Thor. As I came to Thor his image all of a sudden came to my mind. A picture of him in my mind more clear than any of the others. My mind felt weird. Like it knew or like Thor was telling me he was there. I smiled and even giggled a bit in made me joyful and feel connected. But he was there.
The hard part for me is that I can't always tell if its the God's talking back or if its one of my mental illnesses 😅

Oh man. I literally had goosebumps and then was brought to tears when you were yelling to Odin about the great awakening. Hail Odin!
When you said "it's usually just a nod" I got chills haha! The first time I ever talked to Odin, he just listened to me and didn't say anything. But gave me a nod in acknowledgement. I felt his presence and it was incredible. It was the first time I ever tried reaching out to a god at all and it gave me that rush that you've mentioned before. It was amazing. I've only been on this path a couple weeks, but I'm loving it so far.
I came across an "Odin's breath" meditation that worked awesome to focus myself, and I'm terrible with focus and so easily sidetracked (idea is as Odin exhales, I inhale the breath of Odin, or ond of creation, to exhale is to return the ond back to Odin, which he inhales)

I wouldn’t say I’m a believer, just interested in this, but as I read your instructions I tried it out and everything started to tingle like crazy.
I can't even begin to describe how much joy and excitement I feel in finally coming home to the gods! I've never felt more sure in my faith than I have worshipping and following this path! Thank you for all that you are continuing to do for the Folk and the god's with this channel!

I do the same I am yelling for Odin I express myself exactly like you do I am born french ! but I have that strong temper!! I LOVE ODIN he is my god and he did help when I needed him ! And today I need him again .
I went for a walk today, it’s winter where I am, I’m not a pagan tbh but have been researching and find it interesting and I like some of the symbolism and mythology, there’s still parts of Christianity I like as well, I just decided while I was walking and asked “Odin, if you are real show me, give me a sign, I need to know before I ever consider anything more” and next thing I know while I’m walking along this nature path not far from my house, I saw 2 crows appear on this tree together they came and landed and left quick enough too, I think that was his sign

I just started my Norse pagan journey about a week ago and found your videos. Thank you for the guidances. Already started to feel the Gods one in particular Loki been feeling him more as I started my journey. After doing more research about the Gods and Norse Paganism and been researching more on Loki he came into my dream last night. Didn't see him but felt his presence
I get these feelings of the gods watching me, speaking to me. I really can't explain it all that well. But, they are real. They are my gods. Later this week, I'm going to carve some runes, go out into nature, meditate, give offerings, give my thanks. Odin, is my true father.
Update: I went out into nature and Odin spoke to me through his ravens. I was walking through the woods asking Odin to give me a sign and in the distance, a raven caws. I truly believe it was Odin telling me that he does hear me.
Oh my, mid way through your speaking to the gods. Every hair on my body stood up, I felt a chill so cold but a warmth so warm, overtake my body from head to toe, my eyes well with water, my heart and stomach, and mind, full of acceptance, joy, connection, union, Brotherhood, it was euphoric almost

I haven't stopped reading since I wrote this. Learning as much as I can. Redebtacting my life to what it should have been. Living the life I should have been all along.

Your page is really inspiring me . I’ve been a witch and pagan (of sorts) the last few years . I’ve been drawn to Celtic pantheon primarily but am also drawn to Norse . I just read Shield Maiden , a new novel by a great author Melanie Karsak . I LOVED it ! And now am feeling Odin deeply , as he was the protagonists God of choice and I’ve gotten to connect to him in a new way . Today , on a walk, I asked Odin for a sign that I couldn’t miss and within seconds a leaf fell on my head lol. I also found a twig in the shape of a rune !! Thank you 🙏

I'm a Christian, but lately I feel as if Odin is calling to me. I have seen 2 ravens outside my home most days, and Odin's name frequently appears to me.

The book Psychic Witch helped me a lot in learning how to meditate and also listening to a guided meditation. It's really amazing to finally be able to achieve it even if for only a short time.

I had felt myself drawing closer to the gods and the beliefs of my ancestors (I am Norwegian and Swedish) over the past few months, like a part of me previously closed off was opened. Small signs grew more numerous, yet I still doubted. Then a raven flew over my wedding, and I found myself here. Now I know I am on the right path.
Great video as ever Jacob, as I don't have access to too many wild places to go and be loud with I tend to use music in my offerings and rituals. I find this provides the energy I need

Bro, you need to make a discord channel, make a discord and invite us all. There we can chat about being who we are and Norse paganism and we could grow the community way better of the TH-cam channel and Norse paganism in the US or just anywhere
There is a Wisdom of Odin Discord channel, however it is something I offer to my Patreon members. The basic tier ($5) gains access to it. It has around 40 members now. Its been a great resource. I decided to keep it in the patreon community for the time being only to make sure each person is allowed to have voice. And there isn't 1,000 people to keep track of. Hope this makes sense!

Hello Jacob, we've chatted before on Instagram! You happened to post this a day after I gave an offering of whiskey to my gods (Artemis, Elathan and Hel) but when I was calling out and speaking I only spoke their names, thanked them and Odin for wisdom before stopping and saying that speaking further didn't feel right, little did I know you had this up your sleeve. This past weekend I received a vision from Hel where at the end I had greeted her with "My Lady" kneeling and bowing my head in reverence when in my mind's eye I see her step closer and very gently lift my chin to look up at her. I immediately had the thought of "you don't need to lower your head for me child" it was if she didn't want me to, I struggle with confidence and being a pushover so it's even closer of a meaning than at face value of respect. Thanks for another great video, can't wait for more!

This touched me so much. I just found one of ur videos and am now binge watching them. I have been a practicing heathen for over 30 yrs, I say heathen not pagan because pagan means one who doesnt believe in God, I do I believe in many. But back to the point u helped me. I felt ur energy reach out. It restored something deep in my soul and I just had to tell u how much u touched me. That may seem strange to say but when u yelled I felt it to my bones and when u saw in the trees I felt. I am glad to come across ur videos and I am greatful to have had that feeling, where I was no longer alone as I have felt. It was like a big bear hug that brought me out of a dark place. Something i love about the different devotees to different gods is the vague personality simularities within us. I've found myself thinking "yeah that makes complete sense" when anyone tells me who their patron/matron is.

I actually stumbled into this faith around 14 when I decided to meditate to see what the craze was, I found myself in a meadow of barley, and wheat, with a lone crooked tree in the center. The fields of gold, a spring running through, out to an outcrop between the horizon, where the surrounding mountains dropped down to an inlet to a river. I've never seen anything like it. But now, every time I meditate I am taken here. And I see myself sitting by the tree. With whoever, or whatever I need to communicate with. Namely, after my dog died. I found myself playing and petting him under the lone tree. I'm unsure what this is in the faith, but I truly do believe I will find the answer. Or at least puzzle pieces to help me to understand what I am seeing or where this place is. And how I can create am entire world in my mind. And be able to freely travel and interact with things in this mental world. Thank you for this video. I think it has helped me a good deal
I just discovered your channel, great videos! I was told during a reading many months ago that my pagan roots were calling, namely the Norse Gods. I hadn't done much with it since, but I have been seeing many signs and receiving messages as of late, so I am finally diving in.
I just chat to them, don't feel the need to shout or do anything special I just chat and they answer in the same low key matter of fact way.
If they want to get my attention it's usually by way of a dream that makes you sit up and think "wyrd!!"

Water, especially natural running water, seems to be a definite conduit to the spiritual realm. The white noise created by the running water is extremely helpful in meditation. It helps you "be in the moment" and help to heighten awareness in general. Meditation by water is a part of my own practice. I enjoyed this video. Thank you!
