Trains at Bletchley, WCML | 19/04/22

A few busy scenes at Bletchley station on the West Coast Mainline. Filmed on two separate occasions on April 19th and 21st. My original plan was catch the Vivarail class 230 returns to passenger use on the 19th. Which I did. But in doing so, I didn't get quite enough footage. So when I returned to Bletchley 2 days later on the 21st I allowed a bit of extra time to get some more footage.
Unfortunately gone are the days where I'd be left alone at train stations now. All stations south of Milton Keynes now have security on the platforms who are there to prevent suicides, but also seem to have never heard of rail enthusiasts. As well as security, the fences have been put up to stop people accessing the fast line platforms which makes it increasingly difficult to film the express services. Despite the challenges, managed to get some good footage, lots of freights as well as ONE Class 66587 and of course the brand new "upcycled" class 230 D-Train.
Includes: LNWR Class 230, 350's, Freightliner Class 66's, Colas Rail Freight Track Machine, DRS Class 66, GBRF Class 66, Avanti West Coast Pendolinos & Voyagers
Lots of freights and lots of pendolino's. Basically sums up the WCML.

I was on that climate change pendo at 13:56! I rode it from Coventry-Euston on the 19th! That's crazy that someone I watch on YT caught the same train I was on😂 Great video mate!
